Meat-free dishes from South India, including weekday buffets, also selling idly/dosa wet batter.
A small Indian restaurant with main focus on south Indian dishes. The staff is friendly and courteous. Usually there is a wait in the evening, so try to be there a bit early. The place will give you a complete Indian vibe in Harrow. The majority of customers are Indians, but others shouldnt hold back because of this. Everyone must try the food. The dosas are freshly made and nice and crisp. They also serve a few north indian curries and vegetables and some Chinese dishes. The dishes have great portions and worth the money. If you crave for a indian meal and want the feeling of sitting in India, you should definitely visit. The Mysore masala Dosa is scrumptious. The buttermilk is a must try. Also try the Dahi Vada, Baby corn Manchurian, and paneer chilly. They also have a buffet system if you have a huge appetite. The buffet is decent and is a mix of dishes from the menu.Hope you have a great time here.
No complaint about food.Delivery 1 and half hour late. Just imagine what would have happened about party!!!Zero score is not available otherwise it would be better for delivery.
Great place for Dosa and south Asian food. Ideal for people who just want good tasting food but not worried about ambience. Inside is very busy and not luxurious.
We had a bunch of Indian cuisine across the street, but this was the finest so far. True South Indian taste. I would invite family and friends together again.
Great food and reasonably priced. Uttapam, idli, wadda, sambar are my faves! Daal is always tasty and if you’re hungry the buffet is a good shout too.
Worst ever experience never even suggest to visit… to eatIn terms of hygiene its literally nothing i found hair from sambhar and dhosa and when i complain they denied and says its from your food.Specially the lady with name Monica (Indian girlshe has no sense of gesturing and how to talk with customer … i will not able to suggest anyone to visit in this restaurant

Overall, we had a good time at Veg Chennai Srilalitha Veg Restaurant. It was a particularly crowded night, and I had to sit 10 minutes after my booking time. However, I thought it was well worth the wait. The appetisers were delicious and a terrific way to start my dinner. Im sorry I chose some unconventional main courses. Overall, I had a good time with my lunch. I want to come back and experience some more authentic South Indian dishes. Excellent location.
We used their outdoor catering services for 50 people. Unlimited Meda vedha, uthapa and Dosas. They were extremely efficient, on time and staff were accomadating with Jain and Vegan Saambars. The food was excellent and all our party enjoyed. The food came out extremely fast and constantly on the go .Provided all disposable plates and culterly .Would definitately use their services again.
Was OK!Noodles tasted a little strange...and chilli mushroom was too slimy compared to what Im used to.Masala dosa didnt have much flavour. Could do with some extra flavour and spice.
We discovered this restaurant while walking home from the theatre and ate South Indian food. To be honest, food was very delicious and amazing. All we were satisifed with food quality and customer support. Their Rava dose is must try. Best Location Best food. High recommendations💯
Excellent South Indian cuisine and quality delivery. The staff is exceptionally familiar with different diets and can provide suggestions on the viability of their dishes. Tried Thayir Vada.Amazingly made by cook.reallly apprreciate.
Try a dosa, dahi vada or Medu Vada Dip to get a taste of authentic south Indian food. The Rasam is also a good option if you are very hungry and want to a variety of dishes. Totally recommended Veg Chennai Srilalitha Veg Restaurant in Harrow..!
Going to this restaurant after a long timeReally enjoy the food we had the buffet at lunch time and it was excellent
Tastes good, easygoing, honest, and relatively inexpensive vegetarian south Indian fine dining. Staff is lovely. Restaurant is nice, hygienic, and is very well. Come here to eat! Very recommended to every fella..!
Taste was really nice. A small and cozy place. The taste was really nice so that i felt as if I was in Chennai. Hygiene wise, they have to do some tweaks.
One of the best ever food and hygienic maintained restaurant as well as out door catering. Been eating in this restaurant for many years and their standards have been maintained to date. Excellent food as well as services. I wish I could rate more than 5 stars. Keep it up and well done.
Been to Veg Chennai Srilalitha a couple of times recently. Very conveniently located. South Indian veg food is good and so are the chat items. Veg Dosas are great. Clean little place and friendly staff. Found prices a little higher but worth the money if you want great food quality. Must try this place.
Always a great place for South Indian food in Harrow UK. crazy spicy and flavourful cuisine and all veg with some vegan options. We always share a couple of dosa batter and come away very happy. Satisfied customer. Much recommended veg Restaurant..
A decent Veg restaurant. I had Gobi Manchurian. It felt like home-made and very yummy. Service was excellent and food quality top notch. Pricing was fair. Very comforable for wheel chair users. Ambiance was simple and very hygienic. If you want to try something different with amazing taste, then Veg Chennai Srilalitha is a must try place.
Excellent South Indian vegetarian restaurant. Best Location in Harrow. Food quality and taste is amazing. Ingredients used for food cook seemed to be of highest quality as everything taste feels quite fresh. They do have large and many tables so you can find for yourself easily. Good and efficient service. Pani Puri was mouth-watering🤤🤤🤤Highly recommended.
House full, had yo wait outside for 30mins, then once inside no one came to take our order, had to ask 3 times before order placed. Rose Milkshake made bothof my kids thow up later on. Bad stomachache afterwards. Toilets were sooo filthy like going back 300 years, with urine on the floor, food kept next to toilets. What a disaster!
We have been regularly visiting Chennai Srilalitha. Fantastic food, Authentic South Indian taste, friendly and welcoming staff and owner. Thank you for giving us a taste of India.
The food at this restaurant is so good, its a shame they cant make the restaurant bigger to accommodate demand.Simply the best medu vada along with a host of South Indian classics.Great place for a family dinner. If you arent lucky enough to find parking right outside the restaurant, theres parking on side streets in the evening.
Nice South Indian vegetarian food in the UK. The location is not cheap, but it is also not very expensive. A reasonably priced restaurant with savory dishes. Must-try masala dosa vada.
The best restaurant in London if you are looking for authentic south indian food. Posting this after visiting the restaurant for more than 100 time I guess maybe more but not less than that. Highly recommend!!
We’re frequent visitors and we always prefer mini Tiffin (If you have bigger tummy and are a die hard South Indian food lover, this is a definite recommendation from us)😊😊😊Value for money and really good quality and decent ambience. Must try 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
One of probably two or three restaurants who are authentic Chennai South Indian vegetarian. Owner is from Chennai, so are the friendly staffs there. This is one place where the buffet spread has all the Tiffin items plus the thaali items. சென்னை ருசி மாறாமல் இருக்கு.
Simply Wow, it’s my 4th visit and the food is delicious. As a student it makes you feel homely. I strongly recommend this restaurant. Thumps up 👍🏻
Delicious food. I used to come to this place frequently before covid. I went there again few days ago and to my disappointment the place is in complete shambles. All the tables, doors and mirrors are dirty.Rubbish lying under the side sofas. I took one of my white friend to try South Indian food and felt a bit embarrassed by this sight. Also, had to wait nearly 30mins for coffee.. Please make necessary changes and keep up your reputation. People will stop coming if this is the plight....
Firstly the place is not very clean . Everything is bit greasy .This is my second visit to the place and we thought we’ll try the breakfast buffet . It’s a shame they don’t know what the difference between replacing an used plate and only one plate per customer . I am asking you to replace my used plate and not give an an extra plate. Ordered dosa and they are putting it on my used plate . I mean I am not used to eating like that atleast in an restaurant.Clearly the waiters has not been taught basic skills.I mean you are in London and even all the places I have been in India they are far advanced in their basic restaurant curtesy .You are charging 12.50 per breakfast buffet plus 10% eat in charge .Our bill was £32 for barely anything I and hubby had after that incident as we left immediately. I was better off eating breakfast in a fancy breakfast place in Hampstead for that money .We are definitely not going back .
We used them for live outside catering for a birthday party.Fantastic food ,excellent service and arrived on time. The chef and the server were polite and friendly and obliged all our requests with s smiling face. We have no hesitation in recommending them for party catering.Vasanda 22/08/2022
Absolutely Fantastic experience . Good food with fast service and a buzzing place .(clean , vibrant yet staff going the extra mile )…If you want authentic food at a good price and clean place … this is the oneDespite of being busy the team served us with speed , accuracy and Nothing was a bother for the team ..Not sure why reviewers leave bad reviews for a place which is what it is for what it is … the guys work extremely hard to let us have good authentic food at a very very good price . Well done and compliments to all .Reviewers leaving bad reviews ought to eat at home and they should not be eating out - anywhere - Ever ! As free food and service doesn’t exist !!!Will visit again .Well done guys .
It has become my Go To place for South Indian dishes.. Quality of food is much better than Other well established South Indian food chain..Joshua served us with all smile and he was Polite.. ❤️Price is also good and reasonable.. loved it
We opted for the unlimited dosa buffet. And it was very nice. Although I found some of it a bit salty however that could just be how South Asian food tastes like. The dosas were very tasty.
SriLalitha recently catered for an office based cultural awareness event and the order was easy to place, food arrived ahead of schedule and was well-received by all colleagues. Thank you for the great service! :)
Yummy food 😋Best service by two staff who came to our place for family get together.Weather was meant to be sunny but unfortunately rain started but guys were so amazing, one hold the umbrella another continue making Dosas… Hats off to both of them!
Decent menu with nice dosas in particular. However the filling in thebdosa was bit less than expected. Cheese dosa was delicious. Paneer dosa was alright. Lacked enough filling. Noodles were okay. The sauce provided was simply ketchup. The bhel was okay.
My friends went for the all you can eat buffet for £12.50 (weekendand they loved it. A lot of choices and freshly made.I ordered masala dosa and masala tea which I enjoyed. The dosa is a bit more expensive than my usual dosa place and the tea was a little bit less quantity. However, if I happen to be in Harrow, I would pop in for dosa here again.
Friendly staff, good service, great prices and lots of dishes. Was quite full when we were there. They do a v well priced and popular buffet which we didnt get as there were dishes I wanted to try. My favorite was the idli.. will go again
Nice decent south indian restaurant with mild spices and average menu. Friendly staff and recommended for families which are pure veg. Its become one of my all time favourite now due to their consistant taste and standards
FAB! FAB! These guys are just brilliant. Cannot give them enough praise! We booked for an outdoor catering event for a pre-wedding party. All our guests were very very happy with the food. The service was also excellent! Thank you.
I had a buffet it wasn’t great of that price £10.99 per head and 10 % of table charge of eaten in restaurant I’m totally disappointed mean while not much selection of menu or buffet dishes only 8 varieties of food but only one good thing fresh and hot dosa I had shop look it wasn’t great and customer service is ok mango lassi it’s great overall I’m not impressed from that place…
Food has dramtically changed over the last few years. Quality of chutney is not great. Service always remains good with extremely friendly staff. However the quality of food just isnt as good as some of the other local dose places. Also carefully inspect the bill before paying.
My go-to place for south Indian food. I find it better than Saravana Bhavan in terms of cost, taste and crowd management. Love their buffet and the mini Tiffin optionBoth are reasonably priced. The quantity and quality of food is good. The staff is very polite and the service is quick.Ambience is good. Mostly you will hear only south Indian songs playing on the TV.My favourite dishes are -Sada dosa,Medu vadaPav bhajiChole bhatureKesar bhat / sheeraSambar and all the chutneysWould highly recommend.Pics attached for reference.
Amazing place for lovely south and north Indian vegetarian food. It was my first time here so I tried just the masala dosa but the quality and quantity worth every penny ( look at the size of dosa). The prices are quite affordable and place is clean and family oriented. Location is quite convenient its just 2 mins walk from Kenton station and they also have a big parking outside the restraunt. Please visit and support Indian food restraunts like these.
Nice South Indian food variety. The pau bhaji was nice and the pizza dosa was lovely. Order was taking a while to come out and there were few mix ups with which dosa everyone ordered. However once corrected they were coming out quickly. I would go again to try something else.
Amazing vegan options. Very respectful of the new Post lock down restrictions. Food was great, mogo is a hidden gem... Not usual for a South Indian restaurant to serve this.... But a nice surprise
Small, unassuming restaurant serving tasty vegetarian Indian food. The dosas are amazing. They also have a very popular buffet. The restaurant always gets full so book a table in advance. Its worth the trip if you are a fan of dosa pancakes. Ive been a couple of times with friends who live 20 minutes away by car.
Great South Indian Food. Well priced and good portions. The buffet was on but was confusing in the sign "One plate per person". Wasnt sure whether it meant one visit or use the same plate as you need. Asked for clarification but there must of been a miscommunication so ordered from the menu instead. Vegan dishes are clearly marked. Is a canteen layout, dont expect restaurant standards. Well worth a visit for the quality of the food.
