Nice atmosphere with a large menu and great cocktail selections.

Just finished cooking a meal at home because we never got our sons takeout and my food was ice cold after an hour+ wait. This visit was a failure on every level.Update: A reply! After waiting over an hour I wasnt interested in having more of my time wasted. My partners food was just as cold as mine, but it was late and she was hungry. She certainly didnt enjoy it. And we did order a burger for our son and mentioned it twice, to no avail. You were busy, the servers were confused about who had our table, and instead of trying to make it right you posted a snarky comment. Wont ever return.

I visited with my partner Tony R (review belowon 9/24/22 and we were sat around 5pm. As we were being seated the manager of the night told us the kitchen was running 15 minutes behind. We had the time and decided to eat. The waitress came by to take our drink orders. A little while later a waiter came to our table asking if we had been seen, we said yes someone took our drink orders to which he responded, "Oh ok cool someone else is taking care of you" and said hed go find her.Our waitress came back to take our order: a French dip for Tony, a chicken lips basket with a side salad with ranch for me. When the salad came back, I asked to place a to-go order, a cheeseburger with fries for our son.There was a table behind us who were sat well after we ordered our entrees we watched get served with their appetizers before we got our entrees. It was after 6pm, maybe more towards 6:15pm when we finally got our food. It was cold. I ate my food but I DID NOT enjoy the cold chicken tenders or cold, soggy onion rings. I had just played a gig, was hungry, and hadnt eaten since that morning. Not that I need to defend why I ate cold, soggy food.The manager of the night came by to ask how everything was. My partner said the food was cold, as did I. I also told the manager we had ordered a to-go order and she said, "Itll be out soon" without even checking with the kitchen.Our waitress delivered the check with only my partners order comped. We still paid for mine and our drinks and left. We still had to make dinner for our son.I wasnt going to leave a review as I get being understaffed or having an off night. What I wont do is let the owner tell other people what their experience was when they werent there.1/10 wont be going back.

We visited here a month ago and shared our experience. We never saw a manager on our visit and instead of reaching out, I was left a sarcastic answer from management or from the owner. I have removed my original review because it is clear the owner or management cannot own up to anything.

Very disappointing! Ordered 2 Mac n cheese dinners. Cost $42. Way over priced and not as much as you used to get.

Enjoyable atmosphere, spicy chili, chicken lips were very good. Nice waitstaff

Food was delicious, portions were generous, and atmosphere was moderate. However, our server did drop the ball a couple times, for example, she didnt bring appetizer plates when she brought our appetizer; little things that weve come to expect in American dining.

Was at Cheers recently. .Food and service were horrendous, and we are so very disappointed.. Have been a steady customer for many years, but with new ownership a few years back service and food quality has seriously declined. Have always been willing to give them another try b/c the atmosphere is fun. But after the response from owner where HE blamed me and took NO responsibility for his staff or the lack food quality left me with a really bad taste in my mouth. I will NOT be going back. Lunch at the bar.Bartender was great.Ordered the Cuban Reuben sandwich.That was very good.Ordered onion rings with my sandwich.Honestly,they had to be in the running for the worst Ive ever had...way overcooked,dark brown and crumbly..all the moisture cooked out of them.I will go back,but will not get onion rings again.

Must try the Big-Mac salad! It is awesome and you can even choose the temperature of the sirloin patty!

Cheers is a great place to go if you have some time on your hands. The food is always great, especially the appetizers! The outdoor patio is a great place to sit on a nice day with entertainment that doesnt overwhelm conversations (live music). The staff are always nice and friendly as well. The service can be slow most days which is the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five as we have waited 1-2 hours for food at some points. Overall a great place to go hang and have great food with friends!

Great food, great service. The Owner shows how much he cares by being there 7 days of the week. Bar downstairs has been completely revamped with 30 beers on tap.

Food was delicious but the service was not great. When we arrived we were her only party and even then service was slow.

We stopped in Concord for the night with our dogs and didn’t put much thought it where we should eat and chose the first restaurant that accepted dogs. We got lucky, because the staff was super friendly; bringing our babies ice cold water and giving them pets.The vibe was casual as we got to listen to a great singer & guitar player as we ate dinner. I was due for a delicious burger and their steak fries were crispy! Thanks for your hospitality!

The food and drinks when dining in is pretty good. Their takeout however is not. Got nachos tonight and it was essentially a block of cheese, chicken and chips not mixed together. This isnt the first time their takeout has let me down so I recommend avoiding their takeout.EDIT: This was based on takeout from July 16, 2022 and many previous visits to the dining room.

I thought this was a great place. Burgerand sandwich selection is awesome. While the entrees dont stray far from common American fair, the sheer variety of appetizers was astounding for this genera. Add in that the manager and waitress accomodated my request, and thats an easy 5 stars for food and service!

Always a great time at Cheers! Bacon wrapped scallops, bang bang shrimp and the quesadilla are my personal favorites. In addition, live music on Sundays - fabulous!

I stopped by Cheers the other day, and in all fairness I stopped going years ago due to poor service. My wife and I wanted to give it another chance since we recently received some coupons for them. We stopped by for lunch and put our order in for two sandwiches and waited. After 30 minutes the waitress came by and said the food was almost ready. She stopped by again about 15 minutes later and said that she just checked with the kitchen and she said any minute. Another 15 minutes passed and she notified us that the order was never put in to begin with and we waited even longer as they made our order and brought it to us. Not sure what she was checking earlier when she told us numerous times it was almost ready. I told my wife the reason my office workers stopped going to Cheers years earlier was due to this type of service - I told her this prior to us going that day and Cheers delivered on their reputation with me. The food was good and we liked the environment, so I will give them an extra star for that. No one stopped by to apologize to us and we left feeling like for some reason we are to blame for the kitchen not making our food.

Cheers is an ok spot but the patrons are awesome. Talked with a guy, Charlie M. from the area, and he had wonderful stories to tell. Definitely a good place to stop for a pint. Maybe youll be lucky and meet that Loc Dawg.

Ordered the fish & chips for myself and my husband. We thought "chips" meant we would automatically get fries but I guess not. I guess since I gave a 1 star review they wont make it right.The fish was way overcooked and unedible. Very upset and disappointed.

The food is very good here and there are some really good drink options! They also provide the option for indoor or outdoor seating.

It seemed so petty to see one of your managers behind the bar trash talking the customers with the bartender there. I know you didnt realize I could hear you but I could. It was disgusting, and you need to do better.

Great food, great service. Very accommodating for large groups. Had the fish and chips, flakey and tender. Others had loaded nachos, bacon Mac and cheese, tenders. All the dishes were amazing.

Ordered food from Cheers to go for the first time and what a delightful experience friendly staff amazing hot food smelled so delicious I was excited to dig in when I got home. The portions was unbelievable I had enough to share worth the buck worth the time and worth the drive. It will be even more better if they added cheers to door dash!

Our server was not attentive and seemed to want to be anywhere but at work. Didnt check back, and it seemed to be an inconvenience when I asked for a refill on my drink, which sat empty for several minutes until I finally had to ask for said refill. Food was good as usual, but the service could be improved upon.

Our party of 8 had problem with the quality of a few dishes, which is never a problem here. We are frequent customers and always love it. The manager on duty didn’t want to help us. She ignored us. The owner came over once he found out we were unhappy and completely turned our mood around. He was great! We will absolutely be coming back, but managment needs to be looked into.

We were met with a smile by the hostess.We were able to choose our table during a quiet lunch hour.When we asked to move because the sun was in our eyes, we were accomodated.Our waitress was appropriately attentive,pleasant and helpful.I like the varied seating options at Cheers (table,booth, outsideand have always found a quiet location for lunch with friends.Once we asked that the music be turned down and staff did so.I have not loved some of the food that seems overly heavy/greasy/unoriginal, but know others do. On this visit, I ordereda special which included fried onions and a small gyro.It was just right.The onions were lightly coated,tasty and crisp.The gyro was just the right size for lunch.A friend had one of your delightful salads.Thank you for a pleasant dining experience.

Had a great time in an igloo with Emily as our server. Great food - we had Cajun Pickle Chips and Bacon Wrapped Scallops as apps, and standout Steak bomb, Grown-up Mac and Cheese, and three variations of quesadillas. Drinks were also well done, but the outdoor seating after Thanksgiving was a treat for everyone.

The steak tip salad was super tasty.. The steak was executed nicely. The pretzel bites and beer cheese sauce were ample and quite frankly, hard to stop eating. Had a couple bites of the "chicken lips" which were juicy with a nice crunchy texture. Atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. I would definitely come back again.

Cheeers consistently has great food. Atmosphere is low key. They have outdoor seating too. Even in the winter they had heated igloo type structures to sit in. Seasonal menu specials as well which are currently October fest based. Worth the trip for snacks or a meal if you are in or near downtown Concord.

Un-real...best Mac and cheese (with Pulled Pork!!Ive ever had. More food than 2 people should eat. Great prices too!

Nice little spot, one block down from the main drag. Food was pretty good, seemed like good quality and overall pretty good value. The outside patio is great.I got the afterglow chicken sandwich - really, just tasted like a normal Buffalo chicken sandwich. My wife got the slider trio, she said they were good but, again, nothing extraordinary.The service was great.

Great atmosphere and food. I want to share on my second visit to Cheers I had the Wedge Big Mac salad. Soooo tasty. Best than a Big Mac especially the chopped pickle, tomatoes, bacony stuff. Very yummy.

Nice, in city, casual gathering place. Loved the shaded outdoor area at dinner. Good food, great onion rings and hickory burger. Slightly pricey but worth a visit. Bring a good friend or best partner.

The lemon pepper wings are the best we have ever had! Our waitress was sweet and very attentive to details and what we needed

We enjoyed a relaxing dinner that began with their Combo Platter from the Grazer Menu. It was tasty and more than enough for two people to share. We also tried the Chicken Marsala Ravioli and the Beef Tips entree. For dessert we went with Cream Brûlée Cheesecake and Boston Cream Bomb. All of the food was good, fresh and served with care by our waitress, Maggie. We definitely recommend Cheers Grille & & Bar.PS. Cheers offers the option of inside dining or dining outside on the heated patio that has fire burning torches in consideration of health and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cool atmosphere. Food was very good. Ser or was super friendly but was responsible for the whole outdoor area so it took her a while to get to us. Overall a very good experience and very good food. Would recommend if in the area.

We have been here often. There has always been great service, variety of food and drink selection, and comfortable atmosphere. The regulation of the temperature can be a problem. I have been in the Green House room when it has been too warm and the back of the restaurant when it was too cold. Keep this in mind when you are being seated and time of year.I have enjoyed the items I have tried: burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, desserts and more.There are times when there will be a wait and a limited waiting area. Parking is on the streets. Prices vary. But $3.50 for a soda and $3.00 for ice tea! Three people for lunch, soda, ice tea, two appetizers, one dessert = $100

YUMMY!!! Always satisfied when we go to Cheers! The atmosphere is nostalgic plus all the Food & Drinks are DELICIOUS!!! A little pricey but well worth it! They have the best Steak Teriyaki around - Hands Down!! Plus the chicken and waffles are yummy and their Bloody Marys are INSANE! Love this place!
