Cheers Bar Linkou in Taipei

The food was good, but for the price, I would expect more. Processed cheese is better suited to a Macdonalds burger. Our pizza came out so late, the other meals were all finished. The server did his best, but he really needed a second server to help. Ill probably give Cheers a second chance, because Im hoping my experience was not the norm.

Good food, nice friendly and western atmosphere.

While I was in quarantine the owner Had food delivered to my apartment for me. Flautas and cheeseburger were both super good. He even threw in a free shot of his good tequila to welcome me to Taiwan!

the food was good , but recently the quality of packaging was getting cheap. I used to order nachos and salsa, The nachos were in the nice plastic containers, and now changed to the paper bag. and salsa sauce got lots of liquid than tomato and onion,. and the nachos were stale ...my order got canceled so many times before , tonight at 8:30 I placed order on uber ,I waited until I saw "preparing order now ", to make sure the order went through. and 15 mins after , the system showed "preparing ".. so i waited 15 more mins to check, the order got canceled........ so wasted my 30 mins for nothing . if you run out of the Ingredients/ or whatever happened, you should call to the customer, not just canceled it.. thats doesnt sounds cool

Been here three nights on a row. It’s nice and quiet. Had a good time with my coworkers. Taco Tuesday’s and wing Wednesday were a nice all you can eat special. The wings tasted super crisp and fresh. The tacos were great too. On occasion I hear they even have corn tortillas. Cheap beers, cheap food, can’t complain. Even gave me free nachos after I drank three beers 😆.

Read those top reviews carefully, all incredibly consistent in their wording. Ordered from here multiple times (because i want them to be good), but disappointed every time. A very unfortunate establishment. Actually makes me feel ashamed of my choices.

Went at the hour of operation hoping to grab a late lunch and wasnt open. Fan page didnt mention any hour changes

Its the only place for late hours in Linkou. went and the veggie options are good. burrito is slightly low on flavor but the late open hours make it the best. its too bad food panda makes it so difficult for u guys to work with them. sympathies. the owner told me about how reprogramming their menu is not user friendly, thus preventing addition of veggie options to it.went again recently and the fried burritto is great

This is an awesome place to go to have a drink, hang out for a bite to eat and have a good time. The owner and staff are excellent, as is the food. The pizza is really really good, some of the best you can find in Taiwan. I look forward to going back as soon as possible.

The pizza here reminds me of the great pizza from New York. The food is amazing. Mexican food with tons of flavor, and great portion sizes. The owner is incredibly friendly, and very knowledgeable when it comes to tequila. Its a great place thats good for everyone. Have a beer or two with some friends. All safety measures are in place. Theres a QR Code, they checked my temperature as soon as I walked in, and they have alcohol spray. Its nice to come to a place that complies with the rules. If youre looking for a place that is fun, this is it. A Foosball table, dart machine and playing cards are also available if you want to play some games with your friends.

I came in for all you can eat tacos, it was fantastic! I thought they would be small and cheap but was super happy with the result. Great taste and very filling. I would recommend coming for drinks and food!

Good place with nice food and friendly staffs. Sometime with DJ and happy hour promotion. Family welcome restaurant. Its a chill place that can hang out with friends or go alone.

Nice small bar with good bar food and a great selection of tequila and rum. They also do breakfast on the weekends. Ernie, the owner, is a great guy too, and he even has his own tequila company. Will definitely be back!

Man I hope more people come to this bar, it’s a cool bar. Just need to work on your mojitos and tacos. Note for the owner, I think you need to go to Mexico more often.

Recommended by foreigners in a Facebook group. Excellent find as they have nice burgers and great burritos.The burger was served with coleslaw, fries, and a pickle on the side. We added a soft drink for NT$25 more.The burrito was served very hot (great). We chose beef as the meat. The salsa on the side was very nice. Would be great if there was a bit more and the cup was wider.The atmosphere is suitable for having food or just a drink. There was a family with a child there when we arrived.Looking forward to going back and trying their tacos and pizza.

if you like Mexican food, this is the place you must come and feast. nuff said. I am scheduling my next visit while finishing my dinner.

I really want to love this place, but Ive had so many under par experiences here. Ordered draft beer here on several occasions, at what I would call expensive prices for mass-produced beer, only to be served flat/old beer or beer in dirty glasses. My wife’s San Miguel tasted like a coffee cocktail once. While its nice to have some ’Western’ food in Linkou, prices are pretty steep for what you get. Especially, when it comes to their Tex-Mex menu. I would only recommend this to people new to Linkou or someone craving some food from home. There are alternatives in Linkou and down the hill in Taoyuan.

Great food! Great staff! Great Atmosphere! Tried both Togo and dine-in, great food! Especially loved the quesadilla. Had one of the Peruvian dish(cevichethat’s not on the menu. So far it’s the best authentic Peruvian ceviche that I had in Taiwan.

Its ok. They are trying, maybe still new. The food is authentic American pub food, an be it is good. The pizza is great, the Mexican food is a little bland, but thats actually like most American pubs...

Owner was rude and unnecessarily aggressive when we tried to order, refusing to deviate even slightly from the menu (which is fair enough, but that can be communicated without being aggressive). I got a burrito which was virtually tasteless and while advertised as including vegetables just had a large hunk of iceberg lettuce in it. Many things on the menu were "out". Generally bad service and bad food.

The food at cheers was extremely disappointing. The food reminded me of my uni days when I needed to save. I would buy the cheapest groceries and let them sit in my fridge as long as possible so that I wouldnt need to spend anymore money for a while. But then most of them would become stale or hard to chew. Thats what the food at cheers tastes like. Stale and unchewable.I ordered a quesadilla and a hardshell taco. The shell was stale and tasteless. And even though it was already soft and bendable, it was like chewing a tasteless jerky...The quesadilla had nothing but cheese and shredded chicken. And the tortilla was just bland, the only taste it had was Costo. For some reason they left all the salsa and ingredients out on the side, so I had to eat my quesadilla like a salad.Food one star, three other stars for the staff for friendliness.

Ive come twice during business hours, and they have been closed each time. If you cant keep your hours, please change them or leave a message on the window. Otherwise it wastes peoples time.

My favorite is their pizza! I havent found any good New York style pizza until I found Cheers. Their environment is also cozy and welcoming. Strongly recommend.

Nice beer selection, quite tasty tequila, and a great outdoor patio to spend a summer night.

Ernie, the owner, is always welcoming. He has authentic Mexican food, amazing tequila, and a great selection of beer. Go for dinner, or go with a group of friends! This Linkou bar never disappoints, and has something for everyone.
