Always great food...esp the chicken tenders...wow. The broccoli casserole is out of this world. Nice waiter in the bar area. He was great. 10/10/2022 lunch

We went to cheddars last night and I had one the best meals in a long time at a reasonable price I had the ribs and they were very meaty and full of flavor my spouse had salmon and was very pleased. We also had the cheese curd appetizer and it was very good. The server Emily was very good as well

This is a good place for lunch or dinner. The seatibg area us divided up a little so it helps with the noise level. Calories are posted on the menu and may or may not influence your choices. Good homestyle cooking. I have several favorites on the menu. Hand battered shrimp, chicken pot pie and the Monte Cristo sandwich. A you-pick- two menu is available. The house salad is loaded with cheese, grated eggs and veggies on a bed of mix of greens. Yum, yum, yum!

The food was delicious, however our busser snatched our dishes away before we were done eating. The ladys restroom was nasty and only one of the toilets was in working condition, one was clogged with poop and toilet paper and the handicapped stall was locked from the inside.

Love that they have the table tablets for us to play while we wait for the food. Food and drinks are yummy. My childs favorite place. Im not happy that I call and reserve a table but when we arrive they either cant find where I called in or sits us any and we still have to wait 10-20 minutes to be seated. Servers are friendly even when busy. Check out is simple

We love dining out but have had to switch to takeout at times due to Covid cases in our area. This is the first time we tried curbside takeout at Cheddars. They have this down! Easy to navigate the online menu, easy check-out, great instructions at check-out time. Notified us via text msg 15 min BEFORE the order would be ready so it would be hot when we picked it up. I pulled up, clicked on the text link, and had our food in less than 1 minute. The food was excellent. Generous serving size for the money. Summary: Great food, great value, great service!

The food was good, a bit pricey but it was good. The reason it got 3 stars was because our server was also working the bar and forgot about our food. We waited almost 45 minutes for our food and all I got was a salad and my husband got the chicken pot pie that wasnt even a pie...it only had crust on the top, none on the sides or the bottom.. that should not have taken that long.. dont believe we will be going back there...

Stay away from the "chicken potpie" it turned out being a bowl of chicken and vegetables soup with a crust on top, it was not a pie. I rather enjoy the crust in a potpie or any pie for that matter, I was very disappointed. However this is still a good place to eat. I actually visited cheddars about one month ago, had ribs and grilled shrimp it was great!

My food was cold but I was too hungry to send it back. Service was just okay. Croissants are wonderful.

I decided to go out to eat dinner here ! September 19th,2022 about 7pm wasnt impressed! I order the combo 8 oz top sirloin steak and chicken strips and bacon and cheddar cheese fries! Upon arrival I had to wait 15 minutes just to get a service to order my food and once they brought out my food I cut open the steak and it was red/ pinkish I wanted well done which is no Pink or Red at all so I had to waive down another server just to send it back to get it recooked and while waiting for that decided to eat the chicken strips boy were they distasteful and bland no seasoning not even paprika or salt or pepper or anything yuck then onto my cheddar cheese and bacon fries whoever cooked theses didnt spread out the bacon or the cheddar cheese it was all clumped in the middle leaving only the middle cheesey and with bacon and the bacon was under cooked too very chewy and raw tasting then I got back the steak are only a few pieces it was fatty and tasted like a rubber band and all of this lovely edible food for a little over 26 bucks wow what a waste of my time and money and Cheddar should be ashamed of themselves and their food !!

The croissant slathered in honey butter was fabulous and the portion of my Appetizer was so big that I had to take half of my main course home. The main course was a unique take on a Monte Cristo. It was delicious!!

About five minutes after plates were set on table waiter said let me know when you need boxes, no plates offered for appetizer, no Croissant offered. Just disappointing service! Called in to speak to manager and was hung up on

Wonderful dinner. We were seated at 5:30 within 5 minutes without a reservation. The wait staff was great. My wife ordered the chicken pot pie and she said it was “Devine!” I ordered the baby back ribs. The BBQ sauce was excellent, the bones fell off clean, and a whole rack is amazingly large. The croissants they bring out when you first sit down are amazing. The regular house salad was better than almost any restaurant I eaten at. I also ordered an appetizer, the cheese and bacon fries. They tasted good but were pretty soggy. This is an excellent restaurant. The prices are fair and the portions are large. Highly recommend!

We were there for 1 1/2 hours and still did not have our main food. We had to be at a show in 10 minutes so asked if they could put our food in their cooler and we would be back for it. Our waitress was good, not sure what happened.

Was good as always but they removed the cheesesteak sandwich from the menu and it was my favorite meal there. Disappointed

Service was ok, food was blah nothing much to it. Prices went up, quality went down even worse. I come here maybe once or twice a year now I see why.

NORMALLY we had good experiences here. My friends ordered coconut shrimp as an appetizer, was told it would be right out. Management came up to us and told us they were out. Lack of communication Im guessing. Today, had to wait for an HOUR to get our food, food was cold for my friends, and the kitchen screwed up my husbands order, and my daughters order. On a positive note, our waitress was nice This place has definitely changed since Ive been here last. Sad.

Their dinner rolls are free with a dinner order and quite amazing! A croissant type bread that literally melts in you mouth. I also ordered lemon pepper chicken which was very delicious! My whole order was under $12!

We love coming to Cheddars for family get-togethers. The food is always delicious! Most of my siblings had the Samon, my husband had the chicken fried steak(which was hugeand I had the glazed pecan salad...loved it.They always make us feel welcomed to stay as long as we want.Prices were a nice surprise too! Most every where has raised the price, we paid around the same price as always....very affordable!

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable on the drink menu. Complimentary croissant is always a bonus! The atmosphere is nice and the restaurant was clean.It was a little bit of a wait for our meal. But I dont mind waiting when the food is fresh.

Great service and food was awesome. Staff was great and nice. Cant wait for next time. Recomend the Wisconsin cheese bite and chicken strips they are yummy.

Give a 1 star for the bartenders personality helpfulness and the great manager on duty for the food discount because the food was awful. So bad tasting we brought 2 steaks home for our dog he wouldnt even eat them.

Was given different times of when my food was going to be out. Called to speak with a manager and was on hold forever and never spoke with one. The last few times i have been in the restaurant was not a great experience at all. Will not be coming back.

Went for mothers day and I ordered a welldone burger and specified asked for WELL DONE! And my burger still came out med-well, after that my server refilled everyones drink except mine, I had to ask to get another drink, but we were pretty much ready to leave by then. But on the upside my husbands and my mother-in-laws food was nice and hot and delicious 💁🏾‍♀️ go figure!

The food and atmosphere are fine. Second time Ive been here on a Sunday however when the service has been unusually slow and the wait staff seems to be wandering around cluelessly. Wait staff also seems ill-trained on customer expectations regarding things like refills and serving appetizers with plates, etc. Cashless POS systems at tables all looked greasy and covered in fingerprints.

Went here for lunch with my son , we waited 10 mins before we were greeted We were seated right next to the host stand with numerous people walking by including the Manager . Ordered , got our food and never saw the server again until it was check time. I havent gone in here for over a year for that reason and probably wont be back. The food wasnt that good at all I only ate a quarter of my cheeseburger not the same anymore.

The food is always good and usually have great food servers. The person we had didnt seem motivated. I had to ask for a refill of water even after I set my empty glass on the edge of the table as he walked by. I had to stop him the next time. I asked about the bill and was told I could pay on the machines or ask him for the bill. Thats what I was doing.. Asking for my bill and he walked away. Felt we received minimal service and the restaurant was pretty empty. Not a typical visit for sure.

Had not been to Cheddars since pandemic. Disappointed they no longer have onion rings. But the croissants were great. I had the chicken fried chicken with real mashed potatoes. It was good. We had very wonderful service!

Call ahead seating for table of 6 accommodated immediately upon entry. Great attentive server. Brought everything out as requested. Refills handled promptly. Carryout additions handled efficiently. Grilled shrimp Alfredo subbed out pasta for broccoli.Alfredo is on the thin but it was still delicious and quite filling, so I cant complain

Luke was our waiter excellent service very attentive and helpful. First time eating there food was delicious. Definitely be coming back to try other things on menu. Had salmon and hubby had a wrap. The honey butter drizzle over croissant yummy. Hostesss seating us very friendly

Got food before any drinks or water. Had to remind the waiter 4 times just to get the full order. Food was okay, potato soup was not soup, but it was good. Only ordered 4 items, so having to ask for every item was not a great experience.Overall good food, but would recommend driving down to Iowa City for better food and service.

Wow! This place was amazing! Our appetizer was a little late coming out, so they brought us another appetizer just to hold us over, and at no extra cost. My chicken, shrimp, salad and red wine were top notch! $10 for a shot of GG vodka, so kinda pricey there, but thats to be expected at a place this good! Seriously, go here!

Went for birthday dinner and had great options. It was very good. Great service and dessert to share for 5 of us. Very good time!

There was a little confusion after being seated but eventually our waiter arrived about 10 minutes later. Not a big deal it gave us more time to look over the menu. After the brief wait our waiter was very attentive to our needs, checking in on us regularly and often. We visited during the lunch hour on a Friday and thankfully we arrived before noon as the restaurant began to fill up quickly. We all ordered the same thing, a regular cheeseburger and fries. The portion size is adequate for the price. All the burgers were cooked to order, medium, very tasty, would definitely recommend. I had never been to Cheddars and although there was an issue after being seated I would recommend this restaurant. The menu has alot good items worth giving a try. Looking forward to visiting again.

Went during the lunch rush and was seated pretty quickly. Service was great, food was good. I didnt know that they give you a complimentary croissant. Light, flaky, and melts in your mouth. They also have the best club soda Ive ever had, so thats a plus.

Have been here for the fifth time now. So far everything we have tried has been beyond what we expected. The monte Cristo is the best we have ever had at a resuraunt. Will deffintly be back!

My Wife told me that she wanted to try Cheddars for lunch today.I was a little apprehensive but I thought it would be nice to try a new place to eat.WOW! Was I impressed!Walking inside I knew right away that this is a very nice place.My wife ordered the Chicken Tender Platter and I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger.This is probably the BEST burger that I’ve ever had!The service was exceptional.I love the look and feel of the inside, so nice.The food quality and quantity was fantastic.So glad that my wife and I now have a favorite place to go to eat!Thank You!

Very nice atmosphere to eat with friends. I enjoy the light menu. I had the lighter side tilapia and shrimp it was very good. This encounter was not as good as ones in the past. I should have heeded the waiter’s warning that the pina coldas were bad but I really wanted one. I felt I couldn’t very well complain after that.Service was problematic with more than a few food items being wrong.

You literally cannot get a bad meal here. I love the food!Whats even better is this gem of a waitress!! 😍 When you go in, ask for Hannah and I promise you will not be disappointed. Best service EVER. also, her puns are on point. 🔥

Really yummy. Awesome salmon and the broccoli cheese casserole is amazing. The glazed croissants are totally worth the calories. Great atmosphere. Quiet enough to hear each other talk.

Cheddars was above average, not spectacular but it was alright. The waitress could have been more attentive. The waitress had visible tattoos which was a turn off. I used to work in the food industry and the place where I worked would not hire you if you had visable tattoos.

Me and my dad went on a Friday during rush hour on a highschool prom night for dinner. The wait was around 30 - 40 minutes which was to be expected. The appetizers came out within 10 minutes and were amazing. Then the main course came out another 10 minutes later perfectly cooked to order. The ribs had meat falling off the bones, the steak was extremely flavorful and the baked potato wasnt a million degrees. Overall stellar experience.

This was our first time eating at Cheddars. I would not say I was impressed. The price of the food is very reasonable. However the server we got was not very unattentive. The chips and queso we got for an appetizer was very good. However the steak and rib combo we got was not hot when it arrived. It was luke warm. Again that could be because the server was unattentive and who knows how long the food may have been waiting for her to bring it out. Waited a decent amount of time before she came to our table in which we needed refills. The food had good flavor again would have been better if it would have been hot. Taking in consideration of the factors is why I gave it only three Stars. I will probably, someday, try this place again. Hopefully when I do the experience will be a little better. Considering the factors involved the place is a good place to eat. Hopefully my next experience will be better than this one. Although it was not a totally terrible experience, I know it could have been a better experience.
