The food was excellent and the service was very good and fast.

Buffalo chicken wrapper is my go-to! I love Cheddars. Usually I expect to wait for their delicious meals but the night I went (Oct 27th, my birthday!it was slow. As usual, the service was on point—prompt, friendly, and helpful. Shout out, Denise! The host was also helpful and sweet but I did not catch her name.Cheddars is a place that’s worth the wait and is a great value for both the price and portion. I usually save half of my meal.

Our waitress was fantastic. Food was very good.

Let me start with the food was 5 stars! Now the reason for the 1 star rating is because we were sat under the cool paddle looking fan thing. Not a minute in I noticed a pretty obvious screeching sound. The sound got worse. It was like nails on a chalk board. It was constant and because something is wrong with it. I asked very politely if someone could turn it off and I was told that it doesn’t turn off. Which could not be true in my opinion. I even said maybe someone could put WD40 on it. But I told her the constant loud screeching was driving me and others around me crazy. They 100 percent ignored my concerns and never came back To at least say they asked someone or at least tried to figure it out. The noise was so bad that my mother took out her hearing aids so she wouldn’t be so uncomfortable. So we ate as fast as we could to get out of there. It was obvious management didn’t really care that their customers are uncomfortable. It made the experience extremely bad! I left with a headache too!!!!

If this were based on first impressions and the first 3 minutes of interaction it would be 1 star. If it were based past the three minute mark and included all interactions, the typical Cheddars taste, and the ambiance of this location on a Sat night it would be 5 stars. Very subjective and difficult to explain concisely here, but an enjoyable experience.

Had a party of 9. Got appetizers spinach dip and got dinner to go. Odered both at same time and the server held it until our checks were delivered! Food didnt disappoint!!

It was trouble. Stopped in bar to have a cocktail and there was not a bartender. Waited at least 10 minutes finally went out in rest to find someone. The bar surface was sticky and drink glasses were all up an d down bar not just in one place. I have loved this place since it came to Cool Spri ngs Franklin. No more and onion rings were best in town a d have discontinued them. Sorry you have lost a good customer plus 3 or 4 more that came with me.

Ordered a ribeye. Got it and it occurred to me that the waiter never asked how I would like it cooked. I always do medium rare... this was well done. Salad had some wilted and very discolored pieces. Waiter inattentive. Didnt get drinks refilled until ready to leave. My sons country fried steak was good.

This particular Cheddars good. As an Ohio transplant, I was able to taste small difference between the ones home and the ones here, but good place to have a nice feed and drinks.

Food was good. My monster cookie was burnt around the edges. Im tired of going to restaurants that just dont seem clean.

Past few times we have visited it hasnt tasted great, or hot even. Definitely has gone downhill since 2020. Taking "spazagna" off the menu was a bad call as well, several of my family members miss it and dont go anymore since its no longer on the menu.

Overall the store was nice and clean and food was good. The staff was friendly and busy which made customer service lag a little..

Hands down the absolute best Cheddars Ive ever been to!! The restaurant was gorgeous from the outside with a fountain waterfall, and the inside with the huge aquarium. I like the stone and wood design of their restaurants. The food was superb and it came out fast on a late Friday night. The meal was only $15 and it was good and plentiful. I got chicken, shrimp, rice, a baked potato, huge salad, and roll. And it was all delicious. I cant wait to hit this location again.

Food was good just still not happy with menu. Sad the Philly is gone and Mac n cheese. But still the best potato soup

Disgusting. Dirty. Hostess unfriendly. Table extremely greasy and sticky - made me lose my appetite. Debris and garbage under the table and in the seats. Food overcooked and greasy. We only stopped because it was past 10p and they were open and we were hungry. It looked so nice from outside! Wish we went to McDonald’s instead. Also not sure why but the minority customers were seated on a completely different side of the restaurant from the non minority patrons. It looked cleaner on the non minority side. Don’t go, you’ll regret it. Felt like I had to sanitise myself when we left. However I must say our waiter was very nice and efficient - the only “plus” of this experience.

Terrible! Went here while visiting TN, ordered chicken tenders with fries. The tenders were cold and hard, Like they had been sitting all day fries were also cold. Ate it cause I was hungry, it’s hard to find a restaurant when you are not familiar with the area. That night I was so sick my stomach was hurting so bad and I could not sleep, was up all night then woke up with diarrhea. Sick to my stomach the whole next day! Wi never eat there again

Great food. Their honey butter croissants are literal heaven, but the real reason I’m writing this review is for Alexander B! Awesome server. Hope this man gets all the tips. He deserves them

I asked for a medium rare steak and I got a medium-well/well done steak. Didn’t taste that good either. Probably one of the worst steaks I’ve ever had. Don’t suppress this Google.

Great customer service. Food was ok. Huge portions for the price. Sweet tea was amazing

As we are waiting to be seated, a doordash driver is treated poorly by the manager. They got his order wrong three different times and the manager visibly had an attitude and was using unprofessional words. Then as we are seated, we sat for 20 minutes with no service and multiple servers walk past my two year old brother without asking if we need a high chair or ask if we’ve been helped. Worst experience i’ve probably ever had.

This Cheddars went above and beyond to accommodate our group. We had three individuals in wheelchairs and other than moving some chairs, we were made very comfortable. Our server never missed a beat, our food was impeccable, and our group had a wonderful time. I will return.

Visited this location while in vacation with The Family and it was very close to the Cheddars we have here at home, the only thing I missed was the whole sautéed mushrooms that our location serves. Other than that, it was delicious. You can never go wrong with their Monte Cristo! Or their twice backed potato soup! Really goooooooood!

Ill start with the positive. Honestly the food is delicious. Usually delicious every time. But...EVERY SINGLE TIME we have been to this location service is terrible and its not crowded when weve been. Like we have been the only table in the section with TWO servers and still bad service. I just dont understand. Also, every time we have been the servers we have had always seem to forget to put the appetizer in and "not sure what happened". Are you serious? We always end up getting the appetizer after the food. We have also been known to just tell them to take it off the ticket and dont worry about bringing it. Not sure why thats reoccurring. This last time that we went the food was very good, service was terrible, and restaurant was dirty. There was not a soul in the parking lot when we pulled in, there were several employees hanging out in front of the building, but the floor of the booths were dirty, womans bathroom was filthy, the soap pump on each side of the sink was broken off. Just ridiculous. If you have a dirty, janky bathroom that you dont care about the cleanliness in, or not care if people can pump the soap out to wash their hands I cant even imagine what the kitchen looks like that no one can see. Thats all. At least the food is tasty. Ha.

Food is great, service is great, prices are even good, especially for Franklin. Beer selection is just boring though. Some local beers instead of just basic everyday brews would be nice. Great place overall.

Went in on a not very busy Monday evening with my wife for dinner. Were seated in a secondary room from the main dining room at a table that was NOT clean. Then we waiting for quite a long time and no waiter/waitress ever checked on us. We left. Went elsewhere. Pretty pitiful. Wont go back. Would score it a zero if I could.

Absolutely phenomenal food! My first time going and we cant wait to try all the chains under their corporate. The honey butter croissant was drooling good. 🤤 Comparable to Red Lobster 🦞 butter biscuits. So addicting! Cheese curds were amazing and the Monte Cristo was delicious and different giving my taste buds a party!!!

Arrived shortly after 1pm on Sunday to plenty of seating and good food. Had lemon pepper chicken. Tasty. Did not care for the sweet taste in the green beans though. Green beans need salt/ham flavor. Staff is friendly and efficient. Will definitely return.

We used to love Cheddars. Their pot pie is one of my favorites. This restaurant was FILTHY. There was food and grime in every crevice of the table seats and along the wall where the table meets it. There was even food under the pay/game terminal that sits on the table. There was even cottage cheese curds in my side of green beans, so I assume the kitchen doesnt look much better.3 stars because the servers and other staff were friendly and attentive. That said, we wont be returning to this restaurant any time soon.

I sat at the bar and Trinity was amazing! She looked very busy but still managed to be attentive. My only complaint is the manager….she was blonde. She was kind of rude…multiple times while trying to have a conversation with the bartender, the manager came around the corner and would interrupt. I also saw many times while the bartender was doing multiple other things, the manager would come around the corner and tell her to come help her right now. Once she even said “Are you even making drinks or something?” it was uncomfortable. Other than that my food was great and the bartender was perfect.

Visited this place on a company work trip and I was blown away at how amazing my food was. I was recommended by a collogue to try out a Monte Cristo sandwich that I had never heard of before but after this experience Im sure to never forget it! The sandwich was basically a ham and cheese deep fried in what seemed like funnel cake batter and came with a delicious raspberry dipping sauce. Would recommend giving this place and sandwich a try!

Food was excellent. My dad said the ribs were better than Montgomery Inns. The chicken pot pie was also very good. Server was good but either nervous or new because he dropped one of our meals on the way out and almost dropped the drink tray twice. 🤦🏼😂

Good chicken sandwich and fries. Decent portions but not big. The menu is about the same with the amount of items. Nice atmosphere and architecture. One of the coolest fans Ive ever seen. Service was excellent, waitress and waiter were friendly. A little something for everyone, even a gluten free menu because my mom has to eat gluten free. Overall, a great experience. I would recommend it to friends and family.

We enjoyed our dinner at Cheddars. Although due to covid they let us know they were short on employees and would do their best to service us. I noticed our waitress worked the entire side of the dining area (15 -20 tables at leastand she was great. Her smiling personality and the way she checked on each table, serving food orders, refilling drink orders, along with taking table orders was unbelievable service. I wish I could remember her name. My husband and I was so impressed that we tipped her and the cooks very well. The food was hot and very good. She made our dining experience great, with great customer service that is so rare these days.

We had an excellant and very attentive server. Food was cooked perfect and very flavorful. Easy access and plenty of parking. Handicap accessible if needed. Clean inside and outside and maintained well.

Wow. I had a great meal and experience at Cheddars. I had the chicken strips and coconut shrimp combo with side salad and sweet baby carrots. It was all delicious. Well worth the money. The dine in experience was great as the ambience of the dining room is almost cozy. The staff are quick and polite. Parking is plenty and easy to get around in. I most definitely will go back again for some other fare on the menu.

Came in everything seemed great. Our server was very attentive in the beginning but once we ordered our food she seemed to be gone abit more which was no biggie as I know how the server life is. We orde alcoholic drink and mines comes with a lime wedge that was clearly cut from a bad lime. The drink was tatting so good so I just took the lime off the cup and continued indulging. Our food arrives and it looks lovely. I got to shrimp alfredo to change things up a bit. I mix my alfredo and notice a shrimp that looks like it has char marks however none of my shrimp had those marks as I had eaten three pieces already. It was mold… my shrimp had mold on it. The server began by saying she didn’t know what it was and maybe it was char but I had to cut her off and let her know that I know how mold looks and my other pieces of shrimp don’t have a char at all and were clearly not charred. She got the manager who offered different things but I was too sick to my stomach and declined. My cousin and I then went home, I was them woke from my sleep with diarrhea at 3 am and didn’t stop til 6 am. Please be aware and observant if you decide to eat here.

Chain restaurant located near work that I’m surprised I hadn’t tried before - right near work, casual and most people say they really enjoyed eating there.So I went.Sat at the bar and was helped by Michelle who was taking orders through a headset so I kept thinking she was talking to me.Anyway - they give you this croissant with honey butter drizzled all over it. Yum.I had a monte cristo sandwich and it was really tasty and piping hot. Fries were average, slightly limp and colder than the sandwich.They had some soda issue as well - tasted different from two soda guns.Here’s the breakdown:Friendly staff +1 star; yummy croissant +1 star; interesting take on a monte cristo +1 star; not needing to ask for refills +1 star; cool fish tank +1 star; so so fries and soda issue -1 star.I’ll go back again

We arrived and it took about five minutes for the host to come up and greet us and she didn’t even greet us. No enthusiasm no expression in the face was really disappointed. Then we proceed to ask to sit outside and she takes a little time walking all the way to the back which was weird just to ask if we could be seated outside . Still no expression on her face at all as she walks to the table our server comes out and she’s the same no expression enthusiasm very low voice and very hard to hear after a long day we’ve been waiting for this moment. She couldn’t really give any recommendations about the menu this is disappointing but can be understandable. We finally decided on our food and it was very bland. The chicken was dry the pasta was very dry and noddle were undercook and the broccoli cheddar casserole was cold she brought it out cold didn’t really check on us also the honey croissants were very dry no honey no butter no nothing very disappointed in the restaurant. No matter what time of the day all service should be good this was definitely one not making us wanting to return.

Took the family for lunch and what a great time it was. Our waitress was very nice and kept checking on us. My daughter ordered popcorn shrimp and when she asked for cocktail sauce the waitress said theu didnt have any.But then she came back out with some and said she had made it herself, this was awesome because shrimp with out cocktail sauce is unthinkable 😄.The rest of our meals tasted great, the steak was all cooked to perfection.If want a great place with good food then this is the place.

The food was good when they final served us! We did not have the best service and fries were cold! I hate cold fries!!!!

Bring your hot sauce & your patience...The Food:The food here lacks flavor across the board. Literally, you have to put salt/pepper/hot sauce on everything to taste anything. The honey croissants are so yummy though! 🥐The Service:The customer service here is struggling. Servers disappear. Bartenders are slow. No manager in sight. The hosts are generally friendly.

My wifes fish dinner was not cooked, so they did a re-cook and it came back soaked in butter and she was not able to eat it Manager Kayla reduced it down from a regular dinner to a lite. Sides were fine, thats all my wife could eat. My Chicken pot pie was fine, but we came to eat together. Kayla could care less. Hear again on March 1st today was not any better today

Been to Cheddars plenty of times, but usually the Smyrna location. first time at this location here in Cool Springs. Parking lot always packed here, but since I was kid free I decided to brave the wait. Glad i did bc despite being on the waitlist, it moved pretty fast... 5-7 min. most of the staff was friendly. waitress was friendly, but at the same time was acting kind of skittish/timid...not sure what that was about. Anyhow food was good. ill def go back esp for the honey butter croissants = 🔥

Came here at the last minute on a weeknight and still received hot tasty food and great service. As always Cheddar’s never disappoints.

Great food for a great price!! Everything came out really fresh and well prepared. Even the pasta came out cooked wonderfully, which normally I wont order pasta from a restaurant (this was no exception, my boyfriend didbut after trying it out here I would definitely consider it in the future. We got a TON of food and a fancy cocktail that was the size of my fave and still walked out paying less than $30. Would definitely come back!!

I had raved about the food at Cheddars to my sisters. Friday evening, Cheddars fell a little short of my expectations.Good news first, The Onion Rings were and Always are Delicious!All of the meats were great! Now, I am SURE the sides would have been WONDERFUL if they were hot😭. We had to send back our sides, but low and behold the only side that came back hot was the green beans. I mixed my green beans in with my broccoli casserole to give it some heat😉.Maybe if it hadnt been so chilly in the restaurant, the food wouldnt have cooled off while it sat waiting for the server to pick-up. Just a thought 😐

My blackened white fish was extremely salty. Almost like brine. Could feel my B/P rising. The broccoli casserole was basically undercooked broccoli with cheese sauce. The slaw was very good. Friends steak was very tough & not cooked to their liking. They liked the mashed potatoes & slaw. Service was attentive w/o being obtrusive. (The onion straws were delicious.)

First off, never been here before until today. The decor is very nice! I thought prices would be high; however, not the case. Pricing is really good and the food great! I ordered the pot pie and husband got a steak. Our waitress was the best!

Went there on a Wed at 6ish and place was fairly crowded. Very nice inside with gorgeous aquarium over the bar. Sorry I didnt get a pic of that. Service was good although our waiter was not at all knowledgeable as to the beer menu and various types. Somewhat limited beer menu as well. My Co-worker ordered the Country fried chicken which was huge and very good. For sides he had steamed carrots and green beans, both of which were severely over cooked. I had the blackened salmon and shrimp with rice, steamed broccoli, and a house salad. Salad was very fresh but steamed broccoli was also over cooked and tasteless. The Salmon and shrimp were spiced and cooked perfectly and the honey soy glaze was excellent. Decent food for decent price and portion size.There many families there and a lot of loud children.
