Checkers in Waycross

I love checkers food but they lay time i went the driver threw like was so backed up "i was behind 4 vehicles" it took 15 mins or more to seven get to the window then another 5-7 mins for the food. The tea was also sour extremely sour. Its was around 7:30 p.m.

Their service has been better, lately! Thank you! The food is lovely and the customer service is now, great! Keep it up, awesome associates!

Those chicken tenders are the best

I visit the Waycross location at least once a week-two weeks. Love their chili dogs, very filling. I can only eat one in a sitting, but I always buy two! The staff is great. They have a family vibe.

Funnel cake fries are FIRE! 🔥Employees are super friendly and fast.

Awful!! Waited in the drive thru for 40 minutes with only 4 cars ahead of us. (One car decided to leave or it would have been 5.Then once we get to the window we were told another 5 minutes, to pull around. I replied no because nobody ahead of me had to pull around. The manager was very rude and yelled back at me. So I told her just give me a refund. Waited for exactly 40 minutes to only get a drink. We will not be back!!

As far as the foods concerned its pretty close to is it always was I would say that it seems like the champ Burger is no longer well the champ that it once was the Big Buford is coming to being I think the more premium Burger all the other items are still pretty much the same I would say that the Checker burger seems like it could be a little better Im sad that the wings arent always available I dont know over the years weve lost some great items but this particular location still has good service and though I dont go there very often anymore one thing that always brings me back is the fries and theyre still great I can do a little better with their drinks they used to be a lot more generous with the soda and such and now its a lot more ice other than that they still holding pretty good

Checkers is a restaurant you can not go wrong by going there. Everything on the menu is good.

We ate there yesterday had to wait over 10 minutes to get our order and the server messed we ordered three of the two for $6 two chicken and one fish sandwich the chicken was so spicy Hot we couldnt eat it and the fish sandwich was pure nasty so greasy and also tasted like it was cooked in rank grease we will never eat there again they dont deserve the one star I just give them this location is checkers in Waycross Georgia

Food was alright, they messed up the order and we had to go back and get it fixed.

Food was quick, fresh and tasty. Fries are awesome.

It was pretty good, long wait and the prices were high.

This is a tough weird one to review:Their speakers are soooo outdated that we had trouble trying to understand them and most of them we got silence from them. When we pulled up to the window after placing our order they were laughing at us; one of the most disrespectful things any business can do to a customer.They left a very poor taste in our mouths with the poor service that we were ready to drive off but we were just sooo hungry we had to pull into the parking lot in a shady spot and eat.Our fries were ice cold, the burgers were delicious (dont forget if you dont like ketchup, mayo, or mustard on checkerburger make sure you tell them), for the drinks it was 80% ice and I do mean 80% so make sure you ask for little ice or ice in a side cup.My recommendation: Just come there for the burgers and thats it.

They put an ad on TV, after I saw it, I checked online to validate 2 Bufords (double burgersfor $6. When I get there they try to stick me for an additional dollar. I hate when companies advertise for additional traffic then dont follow through on their own deals. So I left.

They were a little slow getting our order out but the product was very good and fresh. Staff was friendly.

My husband ordered 3 fish sandwiches and a hamburger, 3 orders of fries. My nephew ordered a #2 combo with sweet tea. Now anywhere else when you order a combo it comes with fries, correct? Well not here and they cant count. They shorted us an order of fries and they gave didnt get the sandwiches right either. Go back to the window an was greeted very rudely and said we got everything we order which we did not. We will not be stopping there again.

I would recommend their menu items be separated so you dont order the bbq bacon chicken thinking you ordered a bbq bacon burger. Also that they actually have the items promoted on their menu. And the fries portion was really disappointing as well but the service was fast and friendly and the food was fresh and hot and the slushies were amazing!

Like the lil outside patio didnt care for the loaded fries but the burger was tasty. Service was nice

I love you guys. Unlike most people I understand that it will be long wait lines sometimes however I see that you guys are doing the best you can. I know you guys cant say it so I will.... STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT LONG LINES ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVE THE OPTION OF STAYING OR LEAVING!!

We went through the drive thru and usually they have 2 lines open but since Covid theyve only been keeping the one line open. Ordering food at the speaker was no problem. Got our order right and we didnt have to wait but like 4minutes and we was already heading out the line.

Terrible. Nobody answered me at the big menu, didnt even attempt. Took 23 minutes to get to the window. was waiting next to the menu maybe 7-8 minutes. Only 5 vehicles mine included at this time. Get to the window and the guy asks me what I want, I told him a #3, he then asked if I had 2 rootbeers, I said no I didnt order yet. He then said he cant take my order at the window. I reminded him nobody even tried to take my order and he simply looked at me with a dorky look and said "we were busy" I laughed sarcastically and left

their food is always so good! they’re so nice and polite and always do their best to serve everyone quickly. they’re a very busy place!

We love checkers we drive all the way from Brunswick just to get us some. Definitely would give 10 stars if possible. Food is always fresh and delicious.

Great hotel and it is what you would expect from Hilton/Hampton Inn name brand. Quiet and clean with excellent customer service.Only gave it 4 stars for two reasons:The snack bar was basically empty and my flight was delayed out of Denver and arrived at the hotel at 4am and was charged a full day price for an entire stay. I understand, but dont understand.

Food is always hot food always tastes fresh and quality always tastes as expected. The fries is definitely a craving and always has me coming back. As far as the wait time, that can definitely improve.

We ordered doordash and we did not get our milkshakes, but was emailed that there machine was down. Put our card was charged for $17 worth of milkshakes. Then we had ordered separate orders and separate addresses everything was brought to my house I told them the rest was behind me order. They refunded to take it. So in the rain girl had to drag to kids out in pouring rain and cold to come get her food after she paid a delivery fee and gave tip. I ordered funnel cake fries and they put them in the bag with my other food and all my food had powdered sugar on it and I couldn’t eat it. So after be charged $28.14 for a smoky bbq bacon Buford $9.48 combo and $2.39 funnel fry and could not eat it and being charged $28.14 for that little bit of food that covered in powdered sugar. The girl behind me I paid for hers when she ordered and for a Baconzilla combo $8.48, a $4.99 combo I was charged $41.81. When I add it all together with delivery it was nowhere near what it cost. Want be doing business there again, but I do want my money back.

The food is pretty decent...messy..but decent. The biggest issue here is they are slow as molasses in the winter (even with 2 lanes open). It makes me wonder what happened to the the use of the term "fast food"!! 😆 Most of the time the staff are very friendly and professional.

Food was very fresh, even a last minute request of chicken wings was prepared outstandingly with garlic parmesan seasonings 💗 delicious and the burger so good and juicy. I went there on a Friday afternoon around 4:55 pm. I wish and hope they bring a Rallys to Brunswick soon. Must try this again. Tell one and all!

They were pretty busy at the drive-through so I decided to go to the window since there was only one person there. After the person in front of me got their food and left, I stood there for 20 minutes and no one would even look at me. In that 20 minutes only 2 cars came out of the drive-through. There were young folks in there moving like snails and 3 others on their phones and playing around. Very obvious there wasnt any management around. I finally left. All I wanted was a large fry. Ridiculous. I havent been there in more than 10 years. I guess it will be another 10 years before I go back.

One of our favorite family outing fast food junction. This location was on the way to Savannah GA and the sandwiches were fresh and good. The fries are the one that make us stop once in a while to grab the checkers sandwiches. Though we do mot get it very often but I liked the service and standard of this checkers.

Checkers used to be great, until they expanded their menu years ago. Now they are very average. They need to focus on what they are good at, making a good hamburger quickly. Anymore their food is just OK, but the long wait to get food is as bad as McDonalds.

Daughter order boneless wings and got bone-in wings plus made her very sick the next day. This use to be a great cheap place to get great quality food now.. Well Ill leave the rest up to other visitors

Sat in the drive thru for 15 minutes on my lunch break from work waiting for just 4 mozzarella sticks and some fries. Caused me to be late for work... Was not very happy. One time before that, one of them caught an attitude when i got to the window so I drove off with nothing. Fix your drive time workers and their attitudes. Wont be going back there for a while.

Drive through wait time was ridulious. The new chicken nuggets. Omg, had us waiting at least 08 minutes inline before we reached the drive through window. And the chilli cheese fries were order was so small, a 6 yr old could have eaten it with no problem. I eat there often and this was the worse experience I have had.

Twice now, shorted fries. 16.86 for 1.50 fish sandwich,3.00 chicken bites and 7.99 combo no fries. Check your orders before pulling out. Wont go back money is too hard to make to be cheated out of it.

I enjoy the food very much here. Its always done quite well, the staff really does it justice.However, I cant give a five-star based solely on that. Whenever I go to this Checkers, the employees are always bickering among themselves, and interrupting the person who is manning the window.A customer doesnt need to feel nervous when being serviced. They should be greeted, welcomed, and treated nicely.What you end up getting here is "Hey, thatll be 5.50." You hand your money over, and then someone starts bickering with the person whos handling your money, and instead of going ahead and getting you your change and your order, theyre busy arguing over something.Work on your teams communication and conflict resolutions, teach them to pick their battles and when its appropriate to do so.Other than that, great food, great prices, always well done.
