Its a nice restaurant the food is great the staff could be a little more cheerful. The place is super cute if you have a big butt the chairs are sorta small. The food was absolutely amazing would dine here again

Very good food and awesome environment

We traveled from Sierra Vista with two other couples, we had made reservations at another restaurant more than a week in advance and they were closed when we got there. We got on our phones and found Chatitas right around the corner. Not a fancy place but when you go out to eat, the most important thing is the food and service. Both were excellent.

When our check came, the waiter explained to us in a condescending fashion that the prices on the menu were wrong and that the actual prices were posted on the wall somewhere. We were confused because we were seated as we walked in and only saw the menu at the table. The price was not a problem, it was still reasonable after the discrepancy, we were told as if we shouldnt ask why there was a difference and that we should have already known. We were simply asking as we were going off the menu they provided. An apology for the oversight on the menu prices not being updated would have been ok as we still thought the prices were good after the mistake was explained. The problem is they implied that we should have known as if there was a disclaimer. Maybe an off day for them, food was good and prompt. Not ever going back. We dont deserve to be scolded for asking about a discrepancy in their establishment. Do not recommend

It pains me to have to modify my original review of Chatitas, I will keep my original review here as well. I returned to Chatitas on 5/8/2022 as I have many times only this time we were greeted by cold staff who were less that helpful. I ordered a steak and requested medium rare however the steak i received was still mooing as I cut into it. Our waitress did not return to our table for extended periods of time despite there only being 2 families eating at the time. When we were ready to leave we had to find a diffrent waitress so we could get a to go box. Unfortunately I think it will be quite awhile befor I return to Chatitas.Chatitasis a spot that I have to go to whenever I am in Douglas. They have veggie fajitas for my wife chicken tenders for my younger boys and a burger the size of my oldest kids head. For me its the wings that bring me back raspberry Chipotle is the best mix of just a bit of sweet touched with spicy. This spot is 10/10 wish I could give 100 stars.

We were a party of 17 and arrived about 20 mins after opening. Surprisingly our drink and food order were taken relatively quick and our food was brought out all at once in about 30 mins. The food was at a good temperature and taste, but some of the food was a little dry and over cooked especially the meat. Once the food was brought out the waitress only came by once to check in us and did not offer any refills. We had to ask for refills which took awhile to come out. A few of us asked for refills and never received them.

Great place with personalized hospitality. The staff and owner will go out if their way to make sure you have a great experience. If you are in Douglas and you do not go here it is a shame. Be sure to order the ribeye.

I love this restaurant, we have eaten in and also ordered takeout and delivery. You cant go wrong with the giant chatiburger or the floutas. Good food, good service.

Ordered chacita burger. Dont think it was a chacita no choice an I didnt order cheese and it had cheese too tired to call an complain. Wont order again an wont suggest this restaurant.

I am 110% satisfied, best chicken wings I have EVER had, juicy, crispy, super saucy and good size! The raspberry chipotle is amazing! Service was very good too!

My wife said the carne asade and beans were delicious, the steak was not. Great service, very friendly.

Stopped in here for dinner. Didnt have to wait to be seated. Service was great and fast. Food was good. The staff was great and understanding when our two year old decided to throw his plate.

This little place has the best steak Ive ever had. And the potato was not over cooked either like at some places. The decor is very cute rustic look, very comfortable. I felt like I was eating at someones house. The staff is so friendly and very polite. I will definitely be coming back more in the future.

Staff and owners take care of the customers. And continue to check on their customers. Not just one waiter/waitress, they all check on you throughout your meal.

The service was great. The food looked amazing but didnt have the flavor I thought it would. The French fries that came with our plates didnt go with the rest of the meal.

I made an order for delivery to a hotel after I dropped off a vehicle. Excellent ordering experience and the delivery was fast.I ordered the bone in ribeye with baked potato and a salad on the side. Perfect in every way and they included everything that I could have ever wanted (and some things I didnt even think of). Awesome meal. Bless you!

Had the Chititas Talipa special was recommended by the waitress. It was very good , hot and fresh very tasty. Only wish it came with more shrimp

Very good food, and they serve the "Chatiburger" which takes up an entire plate. Only issue is that service could be improved; takes to long from ordering to eating, and you have to wave the server down to ask for a refill of your beverage.

Cheerfully texted the menu to my cell, took my phone order at 8:50 pm, delivered dinner at 9:10 pm directly & quickly to the Best Western with a smile & pleasant demeanor. Delicious, hot, reasonably priced, prompt, pleasant, courteous. Thank you for feeding me at such a late hour! I’ll be back!

My picture is from Camarones Culishi. The sauce was creamy and delicious. The staff was friendly. Drinks were refilled regularly. My friends ordered chatita burger and they were huge.For appetizers we ordered French fries and Torito Peppers.Overall great experience and will probably go back again.

Wonderful family restaurant! Delicious, authentic Mexican food. Quaint, comfortable atmosphere and extremely welcoming and friendly, efficient service. Lots of loyal, regular customers, dining with family. No beer or cocktails, but the food is the focus!

Food: great portions and very tasty. I had the Cilantro Cream Chicken which came with fries, rice and some toppings with a bun. It was better than i expected. The iced tea/waters come in about a 26 oz cup so youre not always waiting on refills.Service was on point. Prompt and didnt hover over my table.

Super super great food. The hamburgers are at least the size of 3 whoppers taste better and are almost the same price. The people who work there are super laid back and cool they check how you are and then let you do your thing. I think they deserve 5 stars.

I was blown away by the fajitas and the amazing burger. Our server was really helpful and friendly. The service was quick, but they let us sit and enjoy our meal, which was pleasant. The restaurant was super clean. And the price was right on. But dont tell anyone, because if you do, it will get crowded and we will have to wait for a table.

They dont serve alcohol but we ran across to circle k purchased some Dos Equis and they made our micheladas which were freakin amazing. I had shrimp cocktail it was fresh and chopped full of shrimp and vegetables. Super tasty, mouth watering delicious. My friends shared appetizer platters and were very pleased with the amount and quality of food. The restaurant was clean and the furnishings are unique hand carved wood chairs and tables, just beautiful. Our server was daughter of the owner, she made us feel like guest in her home its rare to find such a great restaurant that is so kind and accommodating. I cant wait till my next trip to Douglas this will be my go to spot.

This is the spot . Super friendly owner.. came out and basically took charge.. he recommended the rib eye.. now let me tell you Im not a rib eye guy but I always give the owner a chance and boy thank God I did. Amazing job .. see you tomorrow for the biggest burger In Town . Cant wait

OMG Big Boy was great he is one of the family owners. He was not the server but was. He explained the whole menu and brought us menudo from his other restaurant which was great. Everything was good. They did not have beer but we could buy it and bring it in which was cool. If in Douglas you have to go you will not regret it at all.

Steak was very well prepared and came on a sizzling platter, so order less done than you usually like. Burgers are plate sized and the enchiladas will fill you up. Atmosphere is quaint and cozy with hardy seating and tables. Prices are very reasonable!Only issue is parking, the site is awkwardly located on a sharp corner and entering the parking lot may be interesting if the traffic is moderate.Definitely worth your time and money!

Was not impressed with this restaurant, I ordered the steak and it nothing like I expected as far as flavor. Was pretty shocked that this place does not serve any beer.... Staff was and dining area were very nice, did like the heavy duty chairs.

The service was decent, atmosphere was nice and my sirloin was made perfect! However, my husbands order was a bit more complicated... They were out of Ribeyes, NY Strips and T-bones so he had to order a sirloin as well. When we got the meal, our steaks were obviously 2 different cuts(although we were told they were the sameand his was overdone to where he couldnt eat it. My steak was approximately 2" thick and my husbands steak was about 1/4" thick. They offered to bring him something else for no charge, which was nice, but we went there specifically for steaks; they were out of everything but sirloins and his was overdone. Its too bad, 🤔 this was our first visit and it seemed like it wouldve been a great place otherwise.

Really nice and friendly service. Food was really tasty, ordered the fajitas, queso and mango spicy chicken special. Nothing was overtime cooked, and was brought out quickly. Ended up coming back a second night because other 4-5 restaurants were not great. Wonderful friendly people!

It was a great experience. The tables and chairs are real wood which is really cool. The meals we got was what we expected with a good amount of food to get stuffed on. The food was excellent. I would go there again.

Great food, ok service, decent price.We shared a plate for 2, the steak was great, the chicken had an amazing flavor, but the shrimp wasnt anything special. The server wasnt as attentive as she could have been, but she wasnt bad. All in all, wed go again.

First time here. Got the sirloin steak and baked potato. Came with the best salad Ive had from a restaurant with carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, and avacodo. Delish. Steak was super tasty as was the potato. Will definitely be making this place a regular stop while in the area.

Good real food. We had melted cheese with mushrooms, fajitas & steak ranchero. Yum! The chips were excellent. Thick & crispy. The salsa was tasty & not too spicy.Helpful staff. Graduation party in next room but still attentive to our table.
