Chasovnik in Varna

Our trip to this restaurant was unplanned yet we were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good and diverse. We sat outside and soaked in the ambiance. There is an adjacent playground for kids. The service was excellent. The wait staff was very attentive, pleasant, knowledgeable, thoughtful, considerate, and made helpful suggestions. We came back because of the excellent service provided by Dayana/Дайана and plan to come back again to try many more dishes on the menu. I recommend this place.

A place which can fit a group of people, okay tasking dishes, but nothing great or reserve a table for. An option for a budget outing with colleagues or friends.

Ok food, but they use margarine instead of butter. Sketchy wine by the glass.Pleasant tables outside, inside dark and reeking of cigarette smoke.

Nice music under the stars...fair prices,and polite staff waiting to take away your orders. Fine kitchen and a lovely location just somewhere in the central part of town. Will visit again with a great pleasure just to feel the 5 star emotion !Visited again an the quality seems to be getting lower....loud music and a little less intensive service attention. Need to shout at each other to keep the conversation going on ... sound system has a bad location .

Excellent location close to the park and many of the sites. Usually calm you wont have to wait to be seated. OK to visit with kids.

Wonderful food and place!!! A great place to eat. Excellent food and service. There is an indoor and outdoor playground in the restaurant. The outdoor terrace is close to the fountains of the red square, which adds freshness and coolness in the warm months. When Im in Bulgaria, we regularly visit the restaurant and visit it. One of our favorite dishes is a roast recipe served on a wooden tray with crispy french fries, uniquely delicious. The restaurant is suitable for large companies and events as well as for couples. Visit him and enjoy the food!

Really nice place for food, excellent menu and great service, has a lovely ambience.

I have eaten in the place many times before and everything was okay. However, this time their cooking provided an outbreak of gastritis for me: I should not eat anything fried or with a lot of fat. Every morning for the last few days I was ordering vegetables and meat grilled and they brought it and it was something I could easily eat without problems. But I ordered the same dish in the evening and both the vegetables and chicken was dribbling in oil. I thought they actually fried it. So I talked to the manager and she was polite and insisted it was grilled. But why it had 400% more fat than usual then? And why am I barely standing the pain next day. If you have any health problems: gluten intolerance, gastritis or alergy - beware: eating in this place is dangerous because the cooks are unreliable. And yes, manager will apologise later, but it will do NOTHING for your pain or other health problems. You cant heal with "I am sorry".

Great atmosphere and food! Try the taro-kafteri, its delicious- cheesy and garlicky and spicy- awesome! Everything else was delightful also, the menu is full with non- conventional dishes, I will definately visit again to try more of them. The service is excellent, staff is polite and well informed, real pleasure. In the warmer days the terrace infront is great, but the atmosphere inside is also nice and cozy, completed perfectly with a pleasent not loud music. Shortly, if you are in a mood for quite cozy dinner, just go and try.

This place was proposed for a business meeting and I had a nice one. However as a non smoker I am having trouble staying in establishment where smokers are so close to non smoking sections that I can see and smell the smog coming. Wait stuff was relatively friendly. Coming at the entrance door and noticing the cigarette smog I asked if all sections were for smokers. I was assured the main hall was not, but I was accused of hallucinating when I stated that even the main hall smelled like cigarettes. Not recommending for non smokers.

This is a calm and beautiful place in the heart of the town. This restaurant offers good food and service.
