Good food, fair prices, good service 👍
Service is slow but food is delicious
(Uber Eats DeliveryFor a $7 Thai tea that could be bought at a local grocery store for $1 this is kind of lame and very greedy, why would they do that??? I added more than enough ice and my drink is still half empty. Come on really? No other complaints.
The food is really delicious. I’m Vietnamese and I’m sure they are authentic. They taste exactly the same when I was in VN.It takes only a few mins to wait for the food coming.Highly recommend!
Food so good, my husband is Vietnamese and he loves going there so I guess is really good. I would have more appetizer options (chicken wings 🥹and like 3 egg roll like $9 seriously? 🤧 can be at least 4 so you share evenly with someone as appetizer? Prices are good . Try avocado smoothie I highly recommend
WOW this is authentic Vietnamese food. These ladies can cook some amazing food. Great prices, friendly service. The bun Bo hue was the best I’ve found. Amazing broth and generous portions of meat in it. I can’t wait to come back and try other dishes.
Pho Vietnam is a great new addition to the many new Vietnamese restaurants in Oahu. My wife and I wanted to try something new so we drove through Chinatown to see what was still open on a Sunday afternoon and we looked this place up on Google and it had pretty good ratings so we decided to try it out. The first thing that we notice was the place was clean, even though it was in Chinatown, and the staff were friendly. We always make a point to order the Pho Dac Biet and give it a try and compare to the other locations and restaurants. The prices were decent as compared to the other ones around the island I guess I have to accept the fact that Pho is now costing above $10 on average. Anyway the pho came out pretty quick and I was impressed with the way the soup or broth tasted. If I had any complaints it would be the fact that there wasnt a lot of meat in the Pho. Also my wife complained that the soup was a little bit too sweet for her taste.Overall I was impressed and I plan on driving there to try them again just to make sure I didnt catch them on a good day. One of my major complaints about most Vietnamese restaurants is consistency. You go there one day and the Pho tastes good, you go there a week later and if its thin.Maybe next visit I can give them five stars instead of four but well see how it goes.
Had the lemongrass chicken bahn mi sandwich, easily one of the best I’ve had. The prices are more than fair, highly recommended.Update: We came back several more times to explore the menu. Every single thing we’ve had was delicious. Try the spring rolls, the pad Thai was out of this world, same with the pho and spring rolls.
Everything was just ok. Beef salad, spicy beef soup. Both ok but have had better.
The prices here are great and the amount of food you get was really nice. I went with the special pho and there was a multitude of meats in the bowl. I had never tried tripe before. And although I wasnt a fan, the rest of the meat and the broth was great so my non love of that didnt get in the way of enjoying the rest of the soup. They have a pretty broad menu so dont think its only a Pho place.
Decent Vietnamese food. Crowded on a Monday with Vietnamese folks who like the food. Also has a handful of Thai dishes on the menu.
Best Vietnamese food on the island and you cant beat their prices. I would absolutely recommend trying this gem!
This was my first time eating here. Its was okay, but I dont think I would come back. The pho was mediocre and the sandwich was not very good. My daughter had the pad tai, which was a large serving, but not very tasty. Took home the leftovers, but never got eaten.
I got the number 8 i think. it was like 20 dollars but came with a steak and a ton of differnt things. It had this cheesy sauce that i never had before and it was very tasty. The steak was a little chewy and thin but still good. I never seen this dish at a Vietnamese restaurant before. I hope to find it again!
This soup. Yum. Go eat!
Its as good as you can get in Hawaii. By saying that, its because Im from LA and we have very good pho. The noodles are very good, the egg rolls could be better. Service are friendly. The curry is good. This is one of the restaurants that open a bit later till 9pm. Over all, satisfying.
Absolutely awesome and very authentic
Really enjoyed our lunch here. We got the platter with chicken and pork, as well as a BBQ pork banh mi, spring rolls, a papaya smoothie and a Thai tea. Service was quick. Will be back
Very good services. But, the dishes we ordered were not as good as I have tasted elsewhere. Prices were not cheap compared with other restaurants in Chinatown.
That was the best pho I have ever had the hot sauce was definitely hot and it burned my mouth for about 15 minutes afterwards and I had insane hiccups for about 30 minutes afterwards. 10/5 stars fr

This place is phenomenal. It has GREAT pho and Pad Thai! Their spring rolls are also delicious! The atmosphere is great, and its in the heart of Chinatown, Honolulu accross the street from this beautiful mural! This is our go to Pho spot.
Tasty and the staff is very nice. They were kind enough to suggest something popular for someone who hasnt tried alot of Vietnamese food
I loved the Pho, strongly recommend.
This is one of the nicer Vietnamese restaurants in Chinatown. When I say nicer, it isnt fancy or up scale, rather very clean and spacious. A lot of the other restaurants tend to be cramped and have questionable food safety. They also have an extensive menu that is far broader then most of the Vietnamese restaurants that I have gone to that seem to just focus on the basic classics.Their sweet and sour catfish soup is impressive and 2 to 4 people could share it easily. It is loaded with lots of goodies and a great broth. They have a lot of items on their menu that are meant for sharing, so it is perfect for family style dinning.Although green papaya salad sounds very basic for a Vietnamese restaurant, they really load up the Thai basil on it which really kicks up the fresh aspect of the dish. I wouldnt call it the best I ever had, but defiantly close to it.They have everything from mild to wild, so I think anyone would find something they would like there. It is also nice that they have a liquor license, so you can have a beer with your meal which I think perfect with this kind of food.Tip for you, there is a municipal parking lot on Smith St. that you can access from Bereritania just after Nuuanu for cheep park about a block away.
Pretty fast service, nice clean interior. Pho hot pot was pretty nice change on reg pho. I want to try that bah Minh platter next time!
This was my 1st Vietnamese food ever. It was so good, I think Ill start going once a week. Good service too.
Reasonable pho options and good appetizers too.I get the pho combination and ask for cooked bean sprouts also meat outside. The nem nuong appetizer is tasty and delicious and filled from end to end.Chicken salad, chicken breast meat on dry side but dressing is light and refreshing with a little bit of that vinegar taste to leave u wanting more. The platter comes with steak, paté, egg, pork loaf and Bahn mi baguette for u to dip. Comes on a sizzling hot skillet for you to keep the dish piping hot.
Highest rated because the food is the best. Best spicy beef soup I’ve had. Most authentic. A level above the rest. The question is if it’s worth going to disgusting Chinatown for.The problem is the service. Would be five stars if not for the service. It seems they have no system. Two more people came to take my order after I’d already ordered. After I’d finished they let me just sit there for half an hour. I get up to pay and ask for a box and am ignored.
Pho is a really good and better than the other restaurants in town. Try their bun dau mam tom 👌
The pho was so flavorful!!! We ordered the vegan and chicken pho. The spring rolls were so crunchy and not too greasy. Would definitely come here again and again.
Delicious tasty Việtnamese cuisine!Great fast friendly services..Constantly Great Food!Big variety of Việt Dishes to enjoy every time..Open late to enjoy..
Five of us went to have lunch. I had #43 (Vermicelli with pork and spring rolls), two had the beef stew pho with egg noodles, another had #40 (Vermicelli with ?and the fifth had beef pho. The portions are large and tasty. Why not 5 stars? They ran out of beef stew so two of us had to order something else.
Tasty, large portions and at an amazing price. This place is comparable to any pho restaurant in California. I know where to go if I want pho in Hawaii again!
The pho was amazing the broth was so good. The customer service was great very friendly best pho in oahu forsure i tried so many places this is definitely it!
This place was pretty good. I found the ca kho to to be flavorful and juicy. The chao ca was a bit bland, but it was still passable. Additionally, the jellyfish salad was satisfactory, too. Since our group was big, they gave us some complimentary drinks. Overall, the service was great and the food was good.
Oh my gosh, this was AMAZING. By far the best Vietnamese food Ive had since being in Vietnam. We came with family that was pretty nervous and hesitant about trying such new food, but everyone ended up loving it. The Vietnamese crepe was a huge hit, and the lemongrass tofu was to die for. Absolutely would come back.
Pho was some of the best weve had outside of Vietnam. We got an avocado smoothie and a mango smoothie as well. The mango was so good, we got another, and it was somehow better than the first.
Love supporting small Asian businesses and this is definitely the best spot for Vietnamese food on Oahu and maybe in all of Hawaii. I’m Vietnamese and from SoCal, and the food here is on par and sometimes even better than restaurants in Bolsa. It was truly authentic; not like some other viet restaurants that try appealing to other tourists, this is true Vietnamese. Stand outs were definitely the crispy friend fish and bun bo hue. Highly recommend this place to anyone coming to the island. Additionally, all the waiters are friendly and the service is nice and fast.
The chefs specialties are Western Vietnamese cuisine so that she or he made really tasty cá kho tộ and fried fish with tamarind fish sauce. The jellyfish salad is okay, too. I do not recommend trying wonton noodle soup. I thought the broth was hot water because it was bland. Their bò tái chanh is not bad. Overall, it is an okay restaurant with great service!
I keep going back because it is yummy. Clean and bright with far too many menu choices for sure, hard to make a decision. Stop in for a reasonably priced meal.
We came to Pho Vietnam on a Saturday night after trying to get into other restaurants nearby. I’m so glad the other places were busy which gave us the opportunity of stopping in to this amazing restaurant. This is by far the best and most authentic Vietnamese restaurant we have been to. We ordered a banh mi with bbq beef, hue spicy beef noodle soup, and bbq kalbi. Everything was amazing. Best banh mi sandwich I’ve ever had. The soup was rich and so flavorful with melt in your mouth beef. The bbq kalbi was tender and juicy. It was so nice to skip the fancy restaurants and have a true authentic meal at a very reasonable price. We’ll definitely be coming back.
The food here is truly authentic Vietnamese food, I had Vermicelli noodles with spring rolls & chicken, it was excellent and a huge portion. We also ordered the papaya salad, it was perfect, not too spicy, but just spicy enough.
Great place to eat!! We had a family reunion dinner at Pho Vietnam. Staff are very friendly, affordable price and very delicious. Great service and we will be back again when we are back in Hawaii.
Bùn bó Hué chay. GREAT flavors, fresh ingredients. There is a whole vegan section on menu... will definitely return!
I know it’s a noodle house but the banh mi are amazing too!! Best I’ve had in a long time. I got the lemongrass tofu and it was juicy and flavorful and overflowing the toasted fresh baguette. And the server was super sweet too!
Was in the need for some comfort food on a rainy day and this place hit the spot perfectly. Fresh made broth in the pho with plenty of fixings and a large serving of spring rolls. Just what the doctor ordered.
Went to this new viet place twice in a week - got bun rieu the first time and special tray the second. The food was really good and legit and up to the same level you can get in Cali little saigon
Walked by looking at a place to eat and saw that a new VN restaurant here now.Really good food!! So far highly recommend!
