Charlie's Bar in Split

Great location and friendly staff. In the beginning it was just a nice pub, but later it turned into a dancing place with LOTS of people. Was great to meet other foreigns as well. Only downside would be that you need cash there. Minimum card payment was 200kunas which is a lot for one purchase with two people.

Much fun!! Reasonable price drinks and party started around 9 so you could dance and meet new people.

I had a few drinks here. People were friendly and talkative. Great laid back atmosphere.

Great vibes just all around! Shelley was just the best animator you can get, she hypes everybody up and really gets the party started! 10/10 would recommend if you’re ever in Split!

The 3 of us wanted to go to this place, but when we arrived we where pushed away. The girl from the bar told us to walk on if we did not want to come in. We where just standing in the street.Later when we where just walking through she was in the same state. Pushing people who didnt go in her club right away. Dont go here. They are NOT NICE! She also told us that she would smash our speaker on the ground, which was not even turned on.Go to Funky Georgy on the other end of the street.

Great bar for tourists, you get to meet loads of other tourists which is great. The drinks are really good and service is quite quick

Charlies Bar is an excellent venue. Its heaps of fun for pre drinks (the whole night, lets be real). Laura is one of the greats. .

My hostel recommended this bar. I didn’t enjoy this bar. It was so crowded you couldn’t get in or out. It was filled up with very drunk Brits, who wouldn’t leave you alone. If enjoy crowded bars and Brits being all over you, this is the place to be.

Had the best time here. Maya was so hospitable. We had the best time and maya was such a blast. It made our time very enjoyable at Charlies Bar

Charlie’s bar is only good because of Tasha, quite frankly I wouldn’t have bothered if Tasha wasn’t there (don’t forget big Mikeweirdly she wasn’t my dad?

worst mojito bucket in the world! and the girls how did the mojitos are so ruded and they laugh about the costumers how dont speak english! we went 3 times before, just to drink beer, but today was so BAD!

Best vibe in Croatia! As the prices are super reasonable it attracts a down to earth clientele, its very easy to just chat to people there, not pretentious, great atmosphere. Charlies bar is the place to be in split!

They have good drinks and nice music, but it is way too crowded, you cant even move. After some time they closed the doors and people werent allowed outside with their drinks. The drinks are good.

While we were getting drinks, we met a worker called Iris, and she was incredibly nice and helpful, she gave us great recommendations and made sure we had a great time!! The drinks are reasonably priced and had great music, in comparison to other bars we‘ve been to.

I loved it there! The cocktail buckets! Amazing!Unfortunately its quit crowded but everyone is really friendly.

Max is the best bartender ever! From the minute he pours you a drink you can’t help but being obsessed with Charlie’s. Everyone who meets Max loves him! What he lacks in height he makes up for in bartending skills :)

Maya was an amazing host! A very fun and social place for travellers, would recommend to anyone in Split! Come to Charlie’s!

there’s a really pretty blonde who works there, i believe her name is Natasha, and she was so sweet and kind. we had a good chat and she was very quick with my orders. will definitely be back, love this place

The Mojito Bucket for 140kn was just barely ok. Weak alcohol. Only a little Limes and mint. No crushed ice and no brown Sugar. The Cocktails prices went up by 10kn since a few weeks ago. Smoking allowed inside (minus for me).Maybe if you order something else its better

Lara is amazing. She makes you feel at home the moment you arrive. She encourages everyone to get involved in all the activities Charlie’s car has to offer. Would highly recommend paying a visit and saying hi to Lara.

Incredible vibes heightened by beer pong and all the staff being very friendly, specific shoutout to Lara who kept me well stocked with the pear ciders

Such a good bar made our stay amazing an organised beer bong which was really fun. Tasha was so lovely and really made our night!

max is an absolute legend if you come you should definitely try to find him. this bar is also an absolute vibe, have been here every night and would go back many times more

A girl who appeared to work here (although not wearing a Charlie’s t-shirtlay her hands on me in order to get me to move. When asking me to stand from one side of the alleyway to the other (literally 3 steps differencewhen waiting for my friend to wee inside she did not wait two second before placing her hand on my back and physically pushing me. Not okay, no matter how drunk somebody is, never okay to physically touch someone to move them. I was not drunk but fully aware of my surroundings, I am a reasonable person and would have happily moved the 3 steps without being pushed int he direction.

Could not recommend this place enough. I was supposed to be in split for 3 days and thanks to Charlies and everyone from the bar and hostel upstairs (Fiesta Siesta), I ended up hanging around for three months!Walked in to the bar alone as a first time solo traveller, and left (very reluctantlya part of the big happy Charlies family!An awesome bar, in an incredible part of the world.Do yourself a favour, and go straight for a bucket of tequila sunrise, you wont regret it!
