Very interesting history about Charlevoix! Really enjoyed the visit.
Very kind and helpful man working when I was there
its old and haunted
Great resort town historical artifacts and photos, knowledgeable staff with humorous stories of town characters.
A great local museum that features exhibits on Irene Harsha-Young a local artist and Earl Young her husband who was a local realtor/architect known for his mushroom house designs and Boulder Park. There is also a great exhibit on local photographers over the past 150 years. If you are in town, it is worth a visit.
Well laid out very nice
I was very pleased walking in and immediately greeted by the curator. He was friendly and helpful. He even signed my book! Thanks again!
Awesome ,friendly helpful curator
Small but adds to the sense of place here. We went to see the Harsha maps. Toured a delightful old kitchen that reminded me of my grandmother’s and pulling taffy, making noodles, spending time in her company. Getting ready for installation of photography show that looks substantial;Free easy parking too. Friendly curator wearing every hat- thank you for your service!
Great way to get your bearings on Charlevoixs past and present. Current exhibit "The Working World" provides fascinating insight into the people, businesses, and places that put Charlevoix on the map. We went on consecutive days to soak it all in. Limited hours, so consider calling ahead.
Great place to find out about History of Charlevoix. Very well thought out and informed exhibits. Knowledgable and approachable staff.
