Greatest motel service I’ve ever received. Family owned business. The receptionist was the kindest person ever. Rooms were nice and clean. I was staying for 3 nights and ended up extending my stay an extra two nights because of how lovely the place was and the receptionist had made changes to other peoples bookings to ensure that I stay in the same room so we feel comfortable and don’t have to make changes. Very impressed!

I highly recommend Chaparral Motel and the beautiful, kind and caring owners and staff. They go above and beyond to make their guests feel at home and cared for.The beds are comfortable and the rooms clean and offered everything you need for a night away from home.If you are passing through Ballina this is the place to stay.

The room and amenities were very nice for a motel. But above all I was absolutely humbled by the generosity and customer service of the owners here. It takes a lot for me to leave a 5 star review, but I genuinely believe almost on customer service alone these guys are deserving. Thank you so much, pranam 🙏

Very clean and tidy rooms, great customer service, comfortable beds. All supermarket, food outlets, fuel station are very close to motel.

Brief but excellent stay. Clean and comfortable and the owners are organised and helpful. We needed a late check in (11pmand Shaun texted me all the details I needed. Both my wife and I had great sleeps in a comfortable bed. I left something behind and the owner posted it back to me the next day. Very affordable and great people. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them

The service was awesome.Spoke with Shaun and was needing to organise a last minute check in.This was sorted quickly and with no issues. Shaun was friendly and very helpful. Was able to organise a late check in with no extra charges or fees. The room was great.For someone not from that area, the location was easy to find and the whole experience was pleasant with no stress. Highly recommended to everyone.

We stayed at the Chaparral Motel for 4 nights, and couldnt recommend it more. The staff and owners are very friendly and happy to help with anything and everything.The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are very clean. We couldnt be happier with our stay a d will definitely revisit!

Fantastic and helpful staff here. The location is about a 7min drive to the main area in Ballina, but very close to the iconic Big Prawn. They have high speed WiFi, a swimming pool and the general facilities you would expect. Also, they offer washing and drying, at a price. You can even order a hot breakfast at $15 per meal.

Great experience.On booking via their website and advising I was arriving after their reception closed I promptly received personalised communicators for after hours arrival process making the exercise easy and seamless.The room was functional, the bed was very comfy with extra bedding (pillows/blanketsthere if wanted, great shower with plenty of pressure and hot water. Complimentary coffee/tea facility and TV. Room was with a fan, air con or open window ventilation. I arrived late so missed lodging for brekky and left early using the pre reception opening hours key drop off facility.1 min walk is a Tavern and it was excellent for a meal and refreshing drink after my long days drive.In the main, I believe I received excellent service, value for money and highly recommend Chaparral Motel.

I picked this place at random on way to gold coast and was glad i did.great valuedont and a very clean room.i. opted for A cooked breakfast that was yum.friendly staff and i stayed here on way back.it looks a bit dated from outside but great updated rooms.good for stop over night but not near many tourist items so dont know about it as a holiday motel

An unexpected surprise!! We stayed here over long weekend and it doesnt look much from outside. We came for pool, fan & air con as its been really humid and thought all this wed get good nights sleep, which we did as the king bed very comfy and room was set out well. The air con vane also didnt hit us in the face which was bonus. Thanks Chaparral

Comfortable and good value overnighter motel when in transit btw our Dunbogan home on Mid North Coast of NSW and the Sunshine Coast in QLD.

Nothing too hard here. The owner operators are very friendly and can accommodate any request within reason. Rooms are clean and well presented and the beds are so comfortable. Ill be back

Swung through on business. A nice clean room on the southern outskirts of town. Walking distance to Dan Murphys, where they sell booze. A servo for supplies and some takeaways nearby too, but they close early.

Good value stay in Ballina!This is an older style brick motel about 2.5 km from the centre of Ballina. We stayed here for 2 nights and we had a great stay although the bed was a little too soft to be totally comfortable. The room was spacious and clean with a well equipped kitchenette, good bathroom and TV. Maybe because we were on the second floor and quite far away from the office, the WiFi signal was so weak that it was unusable. We found the parking a little bit challenging - we were driving a Subaru Outback and the brick pillars were a little too close for comfort.

We stayed in deluxe queen room which had been renovated. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable.Id stay here again.

hotel is tidy. technology is low budget (tv/wifiand mattress seems cheap even when we paid premium room. however for $114 per night its ok

Room was comfortable and functional but a bit dated wasnt particularly quiet and could not acheive blackout with front curtains.

Purely a brief road tripovernight sleep in a clean, comfy well priced motel willing to accommodate our late arrival and early departure needs.

We were very disappointed at the condition of the unit the fan in the bathroom was very dusty and in bad condition the icebox in the fridge was extremely iced up and no door on it we have stayed here a few times but this time our room was not the best. Overnight stay whilst attending a wedding. Parking spot is a bit tight but room was clean and comfortable.The best fish & chips very close by.

Lovely budget motel located across the road from the iconic Big Prawn. Lovely clean rooms with comfy beds and pillows. There are air con and heater facilities with microwave and mini bar fridge. The room we stayed in was the queen suite. Would recommend for a stop over or long weekend. The owners are lovely and very accommodating and more than happy to help! We will continue to keep coming back.

Good one night stop over. Older looking motel from outside. Nicely presented room with just the basics. Only two minor things to report. Air con unit needs cleaning and some bathroom supplys needed filling up.

Best value for money of any motel we have stayed in. Clean rooms with very comfortable beds, very nice showers etc. Friendly and helpfull staff.Microwave supplied as standard which is not always the case.

2 July 2016 Motel is OPEN, not permanently closed as misreported on google maps. The room with the dinette is comfortable. Owners are super nice and helpful. Excellent value for an economical price. Family style tavern is right next door (and was packed with kids).

Stayed here for two nights and enjoyed it thoroughly.The rooms are very clean and well presented with artwork on the walls and what looks like some fresh paint. The beds were typical motel fare but were comfortable. The heater was small but very effective in heating up the room completely dispelling the thought that the Winter night would be to cold without additional blankets. Plenty of hot water in the shower and the LCD TV provided a selection of Foxtel channels to watch.The staff were VERY friendly and accommodating. They even recommended us some good local places to dine at and visit.We had the in-room breakfast which was very good (made by the owners). A couple of minor details in the orders were mixed up but quickly rectified.Theres a pool that we didnt use due to the current season, and there is a dedicated parking spot for each room under cover.Next door theres a tavern for dinner, a bottle shop, a BP servo and across the road is the new local Bunnings for which we enjoyed a fireworks display as it was their opening night.Despite being on the main road, we found the rooms surprisingly quiet with only louder sounds like the blip from a police siren being able to penetrate.The prices were good and we will definitely consider staying here again.
