The size of the rolls is bigger than normal, plus it’s tasteless

I tried the sweet and sour chicken but was really disappointed, it did not taste good at all and I couldn’t even continue eating. I ordered a side dish of steamed rice but got a fried rice instead!The vegetable spring roll was not bad.I don’t recommend their chicken.

Impossible to eat the noodles they were so spicy. We couldnt finish them. Too spicy.The maki/roll rice is not cooked, it is hard and lacks taste. They are very poorly made and expensive.Very expensive for what it is. Money wasted. Its the limit of theft.Really disappointed.First order which will be the last.

New review 2022 : Old team were replaced by a new team whom are Not so friendly.Food taste different than the one we used to from Chao Bao.Old review a year ago:Probably the Best noodles place in Riyadh.So friendly team.

It was a good experience and good quality food, cheap and affordable... it is a good place to eat and rewind in all the days work.

This my second time I come to this restaurant, the food is very fresh and delicious , the price is very good 👍. The staff very friendly.

The food is really good i tried the black bean beaf with the vegetables noodles it’s taste so good the sushi was good my favourite is the chicken katsu rolls

Chao Bao is a must try Chinese food and Japan Sushi hangout in Riyadh.Ambience is very simple and elegant .Food is really Juicy yummy and mouthwatering in all sense.If you want to taste the real Chinese Noodles with beef.Shrimps and vegetables or with rice Chao Bao is the right destination for you.Also,Sushi varieties are really yummy and delicious.Am not the final person to comment on .You try and experience the delicious Chinese and Japanese delicacy.Happy fooding😊😊

Food was tasty and pretty good, came in good packaging as well. I personally had the Kung pao and thought the taste could have been better.

I loved their sushi it was so yummy.. but I don’t like the cashier attitude it wasn’t very welcoming

I ordered the Sichuan beef and udon noodles. The noodles were okay although a little light on the vegetables and the chicken pieces were so small you couldn’t see them!! The Sichuan beef was really bad. Slices of what tastes like canned beef in a puddle of soy based sauce. Not worth its price. I suggest using larger cuts of chicken and including a variety of vegetables in their dishes. This place used to be really good prior to its Sushi transformation. Now it’s almost always empty and the quality of their dishes has declined. A shame.

Sushi prices are extremely high and the amount is low wouldn’t recommend for sushi haven’t tried noodles

Ordered their signature Kung Pao Chicken Noodles which came in a pretty generous portion. The chicken did however taste a bit too chewy and overcooked but overall the dish was still pretty good. I highly advise to takeout or order, as there is a minimal seating area.

Mininal seating. Food comes searing hot. Worst of all: taste is below average and price is above average for this kind of place.

The chicken is really good. The beef is very average.The noodles are good. But the rice isn’t so tasty.The soup was having a weird taste.

Tried the Chinese noodles as they call it and the fried rice. The noodles smelled pretty funny and the rice had an after burn food taste to it, Which weird! Did not enjoy any.I dont recommend it.

This minimalist Chinese Resto serves fresh noodles and maki (and now introducing Sushi too). The place is quaint but serves the best noodles (i love the udonas it is cooked right in front of you. I suggest to try the California Maki (8pcs at SR30as it is really properly prepared and is great!

Delicious noodle, freshly made, the sauce is amazing with a lime squeeze on top of it. You can taste the freshness of all ingredients. I’ve seen other interesting dishes which for sure will try next time.Very simple and nice design with normal and high chair sets, few tables for dining in.Attached copy of their menu.

Fresh noodles made daily (yes daily). Asian style infusion with top quality ingredients. I have tried most if there dishes on 4 visits and they are really good. Try the firecracker shrimp and the tenderloin noodles are awesome. Enjoy...
