everything were super igable AND delicious 🥰 strongly recommend banana pancake and pork lettuce wrap 🤪 would definitely revisit again next time!!!
Morenot good, shrimp is black
We order several dishes …..Starter mixed plate and all ok except “fried spring roll” as it feels like fill with tones of oil 😮💨Drinks all good and my friend tired a new one looks really nice.Fried rice - first time to try such style and presentation is good but taste so so.Curry — not recommend as not spicy and also too special they put litchi there. Very strange taste.Pork (豬頸肉) - Yummy !Desert — mango not sweet at all but sticky rice is special as they make it in purple color. Mixed desert plate — not recommendIf you wish to try Thai food, would love to say here is not Thai food but they try to be creative.Price vs quality vs service = can try one time
More- 𝔸 𝕋𝕙𝕒𝕚 𝕋𝕣𝕚𝕡 🏝When it comes to summer, I would always crave for some Thai food just like I would crave for ice cream or shaved ice during winter time. So a Thai meal by the garden was on my weekend bucket list 😆𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗿 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝘁𝘁𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝗪𝗿𝗮𝗽 路邊炭火豬腩肉生菜包This was the delight of the meal. Thought it would be a minced version but turn out this sliced version gave a very happy chewy twist to the classic. In terms of flavour, I liked the strong chillii honey base. The sauce on side was superb too. Just wrap some garlic confit and some chucks of pork belly in a perfectly cut lettuce! Amazing😍𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗧𝗶𝗸𝗸𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗮 馬薩拉香料牛肉咖哩The curry was strong in coconut flavour with lots of beef and vegetables hidden🥘 I personally loved the vege even more than the beef since the sweetness and mild spice from the curry lighted up the veges a lot!𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗶 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮 油酥手抓薄餅A roti is a must when having curry🙌🏼 This puffy one was super crispy and chewy at the same time. Known as my favourite texture. I can easily finish all 3 by myself! Remember to order it despite it might be a little bit pricy. You will not regret it 🤤𝗣𝗮𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗻 泰式虎蝦金邊粉The size of the prawns surprised me. The noodle was on the sweet and sour side while the charred prawn gave the savory notes. The portion was really generous that I already felt full after the prawn 🦐𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘆 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗲 芒果糯米飯The national dish of Thailand🇹🇭 I love the dried coconut shreds on top for extra crispy texture and more coconut flavour. I also love the warm rice that it proved they are made to order and fresh!
MoreBetter not try the scallop and pear. A big disappointment for me. The Tom Yum Kung Farfalle with beacon and cheese on the other hand is excellent.
MoreWe ordered a lot for two people: Pad Thai, satay skewers, clams, pork belly lettuce wraps, crab meat butterfly pea fried rice and mango sticky rice. Everything tasted great and was well presented. The pad Thai is the best Ive ever had and I also loved the clams and beef skewers in particular. My Bf was crazy about the pork belly! Contrary to other reviews, we didnt find the mango sticky rice to be a must-eat item. It was standard and I would prefer if there was more coconut cream on it, I also didnt like the coconut flakes but thats a personal preference. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience and the service was really great as well!
MoreVery good Thai food
Let me explain you, it’s a creative way to add a more sweet touch to Thai cuisine, a salad pretty sweet was an ok experience, but the beef was really not as good as a simple red Thai beef, then unfortunately not really yummy with an ocra back up taste mixed with lychee, hum weird. The Tom Young soup was also on the sweet spot… It’s good to be creative only if the taste follow. But next time maybe it will be better. Or it’s me.
MoreGood value for set lunch. Good Thai food
2/5Poor pah Thai bean sprouts salad portion, taste just okay. Pork belly better.
Nice and cozy place with a fair price, skewers are nice and cannot complain about the drinks too, hopefully will try out on their full set of beverages instead of a quick tea manual i tried this time, look forward to it !
MoreGood service, nice food
Champak Restaurant is a very chill place with tons of leaves and plants, is a natural deco place☘️ We ordered Phad Thai with king prawn and satay skewers (chicken and beef)!! The Phad Thai is yummm, is a bit sour in taste!! Skewers are super nice as well, esp the chicken one with turmeric powder🤤 The drinks are really special! We ordered Thai bubble milk tea with milk foam and Che ba mau milk foam! Both drinks are quite nice as well, not tooo sweet! The milk foam is so dense and rich. The Che ba mau is super rich in coconut favour. Gotta order this drink if you like 🥥 taste!!Read more of our food reviews on IG/VERO at @hehefoodie
Morei came here the night right before the long long dine-in ban, think i was super lucky to have my "last supper" here. it serves modern fusion thai food and the menu is definitely surprising. it is very nicely decorated too with plants and (fake/driedflowers around, feeling good. the drink first came and it did surprised me - its a spicy pineapple soda- didnt think its spicy at the first sip so i purposely crashed the 2 chilis and the hot straight came right after! it tasted so exciting with the sweet pineapple and was buring in my stomach! lol, funny experience. for the mains, i love the curry soft shell crab, very good to go with some slices of toast or garlic naan. the tom yum fried noodle tasted a bit flat (think its because my tongue was already burnt by the drink!). last but not least, the mango sticky rice to round up the dinner. before i left, i chit chatted a bit with the staff and they were worrying about the impact of the ban, totally understand and can feel their pain.
Morethe Thai bubble mild tea disappoint me since no Thai favorother are fair
Staffs kept wanting to collect our plates and clean up the table fast despite our discount from an app cannot be applied, please don’t offer any discount if you’re being so strict to the customer (expect non will retirefood is nothing special and set a high price in this area. Only good for pics, not bad but nothing special. Worst thing about this restaurant is their attentiveness is zero and staffs just love to collect your plates even when you haven’t finished the food lol for twice. Very disappointed, please improve your service if you love to continue to charge the current price.
MoreLovely decor and food.
nice place with quality food. Certainly can enjoy a good time with friends and family
Moresuper yummy thai food! nice environment!
Very delicious fusion food! It is recommended to provide more choices in the menu.
MoreCozy environment with delicious Thai food! The price is reasonable. The waiters are nice! There is tomyum soda with chilli on top! So special!!
MoreThe environment and food taste are good, pricing also affordable for lunch time.
MoreLife is full of colours
Slowest service ever. I waited over 25 mins just for a drink.
We order a set dinner for 2 people. Portion are big, but not authentic Thai food. All dishes come super fast and our table cannot fit all dishes at all we have to give up the food without finish it. And the staff are not helpful too.
Morenice food.
food was decent, lacks a bit of service
Highly recommendable restaurant. Price is a bit expensive but food is really tasty. Tried twice and feeling satisfied each time.
MoreFood are highly instragramble. Food is decently nice for lunch sets. Be warned that the portions are pretty small for a grown adult man but flavours are pretty well balanced.
MoreGood service. Nice food presentation
Some staffs were nice! Most of the foods were pretty cool down whiling serving, really disappointed! Tiny dinning table!
MoreNice Thai food cousins, need to book in advance, otherwise for walk-in , might have to wait for a long time, cause it is at a busy area, for the peak time, have 1 and half hr time limit for dinning, but if no one is waiting outside , the staff would not raise up this,
MoreElegant Botanical Themed Thai Restaurant with Tasty Thai DishesLocation: The Forest Shopping Mall Shop Unit 107-108 on the 1st/FVery pretty Restaurant!! Love the use of dangling plants in glass fish bowls at the shop front; the use of turquoise and white marble colours for walls and tables looks fantastic!Food: ordered 1 drink (Thai Ice Tea), 1 starter (Som Tamand 2 Main Dishes (Prawn Pad Thai & Green Curryplus 1 bowl of rice for 2 peopleThe vibrance of colours in every dish, drink and interior decor are very pleasing to the eye.The Green Curry was quite spicy (at least Medium Spice Leveland it didn’t come with a rice; hence my friend had to order the rice and a drink just to complement with the green curry.Portion Size is decent; and the food are very tasty.Price: $150HKD+/personIf you just order a main dish without starters or drink, it will be around $100HKDCustomer Service: the staff are friendly; but since we are seated at the far corner of the rest by the window, it took sometime to grab the attention of a staff (to add table water; order additional dishes etc)Overall, it’s a shame that the Curry was too spicy for my friend and myself to finish. Otherwise, the restaurant and the other food we ordered were superb! Will definitely recommend visiting!!
MoreI go to the forest at Mong Kok a lot because I love to buy vegan and organic stuffs at the store beside Champak restaurant. I decided to try their lunch set and it was really good. The price isnt too expensive ranging from 50-90 HKD with drinks included. Its more of a modern style Southeast Asian food and the flavor profile is excellent. I really like both the taste of the food and the presentation as well. Another plus point is their beautiful interior, really loving the nice touch all the plants give to the restaurant. I will definitely recommend people to give this place a try.
MoreNice place with good atmosfer for hang-out. Foods and beverages is delicious. Place in the jungle mall, Hong Kong
MoreGreen curry tendoori tastes strange and not hot at all
An absolute two-star rating because the restaurant was not pretty enough to compensate for the bad food. The shrimps were not fresh, the soup was too salty, the pork bellies tasted weird soaked in coconut milk.
Moregreen environment w yummy fusion asian food. Very nice presentation of food.
Its nice place to have a short rest, if u are tried to walk in crowded street. We only ordered some sweets and drink. But other food also looks good.
MoreVery friendly staff, great service. Good food and drinks and a very different atmosphere...
MoreNice restaurant vibes and pretty looking dishes. Highly recommend the mango sticky rice with blue rice dyed with butterfly pea flower, and the pandan coconut bubble tea. However, the duck leg curry dish was quite chewy.
MoreEnjoyed what I ate: kerabu salad, tandoori chicken with pandam and cappuccino . Will consider going there again next time I am in Hong kong
MoreTo see if a restaurant is worthy to try or not, it’s better to try at lunch first. We have ordered 2 lunch sets. One is Masala curry chicken with crepes and tumeric rice and the other is tom yum soup with noodles. I can say only the crepes and drinks are ok. Tom yum soup was definitely disappointing. I guess the chef haven’t tried the authentic tom yum soup. It was just tomato soup like with a bit spicy flavor. Tumeric rice only have the color but without any tumeric flavor at all. Thai tea and lime soda were ok. Once is already enough.
MoreAverage thai foods, rude staff, not rly cozy
Av great place for a snack and a drink. Lots of interesting hot and cold drinks in a very relaxing atmosphere.
MoreDont trust openrice on this place. Waste of money. We ordered the two lobster dishes on the menu. The pasta was precooked and already clammed up in a watered down tom yum sauce. The lobster while looking normal only has one tiny bit of meat from the shell. Same with the baked lobster dish- dry and cold. Not to say we had a salad but the first one comes with hair. Take your money elsewhere.
MoreGreat food in a great location. Highly recommended!
Delicate dish but quite expensive
Served by people with no common sense. Food isnt particularly good. Not a good experience overall
MoreRed curry on cue, duck was tough. Crab Salad, taste was refreshingly nice. Thai foam milk tea is not the usual super sweet typical milk tea (which is a good thing). Overall experience is good!Understand that this establishment is newly setup.
