Fantasic rums! I was very impressed by the flavour selection and how delicate the white rum is comparing to most white rums on the market. Both original and thai sweet basil are clear highlights with their gin also making an impression and more serious one compared to their Bangkok competitor - Iron Balls.

If you are coming to the distillery, its not recommended to go just for the tour. Do the drink mixing class as it gives you more of a reason to be there. The tour is nothing special. As its the same as any other still, plus it is a small batch operation, so they are not running the stills all year round.The mixing class is an excuse not drink and meet people and have a few laughs, its worth the couple extra dollars.

Great experience going for the rum distillery tour w rum tasting, and cocktail making workshop. Made 3 different cocktails and all were rly tasty - best part you can modify them to your tastes. Their rum is rly strong as well lol. Area is a bit inside so good to have a tuktuk on call

We had a whole experience - rum distillery tour and coctail workshop where we made 3 coctails by ourselves, it was awesome! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was in English. Great thing is that you can choose by yourself if you want your cocktails to be lighter or stronger, sweeter or more sour.

Arrived right before a guided tour. We were offered a "welcome drink" of a Chalong Bay Mojito (picturedas part of the tour, which was cool, refreshing and delicious. Guide had good English and explained the process very well.Afterwards, we had a tasting (part of the tourand the bartender was great - very knowledgeable, and also great English. We tried all the products, and he put us together a couple of amazing mini cocktails using the spirits and syrups they make.Highly recommend - I wish we could have bought a few bottles, but the lack of space in our luggage stopped us. Well definitely pick some up in Chiang Mai.

Probably my favourite place to visit on our short trip to Phuket. High quality food and drinks. Super friendly staff. Great place to pick up some high quality rum and gin to gift people. I highly recommend a visit, no matter where you are staying on the island.

Super cool place to chill and sip aromatic rum/gin in Phuket!Loved the vibes. Reasonable prices for drinks. The staff were kind and informative. Went there to pass the time before our flight so we didn’t try any tasting or tour this time. Will come back for that!I assume the place can get quite busy especially among foreigner. We saw a big group of tourists with small kids. So, you might want to visit now to take advantage at this quieter time. :)We also bought back a cute bottle of cinnamon syrup that you can add into your rum, cocktails, cooking, or just drizzle on top of a toast. Yum!

We had a great time visiting the distillery! We did the distillery tour option and it came with a delicious mojito and we got to sample all of their spirits. Great vibes and beautiful place to visit. Highly recommend!

What a great experience. They were extremely accommodating when they took us on all distillery tour and were able to answer our a billion questions. The rums were really interesting and we felt the ingredients really shone through.Great mojitos and were definitely keen to try their salsa nights on Thursdays!

Would definitely recommend. Fun place to hang out for a cocktail or 2 and if you have any interest at all in how spirits are made they give a very informative tour of their distillery/distilling process with plenty of samples.

The tour was very informative and the rums were strong for me but it was fun. Mojito was very tasty. I was hungry so I got drunk out of that hahaI ordered macadamia tart with rum and raisin ice cream and it was sooo good! They have schedule for tour I think every hour. We paid THB 450 per person for the tour and it came with a mojito.

A beautiful place with delicious rum. We went to the rum cocktail workshop and had a great time. Very informative short tour of the distillery and a fun and delicious workshop where you make 3 cocktails and you also get to try all their rums (and gin). Highly recommended!

Really really high quality, tasty rum! Strong gin game as well. We signed up for the gin cocktail and mocktail mixing class, including tour and tasting. Awesome experience! So much to drink 🤪, and a really informative and fun mixing course with interesting ingredients like butterfly pea flowers, red beets and red chili. New flavors and techniques to try. Would 100% recommend this experience for cocktail lovers. Instructor was fun and all ingredients very well organized and recipes in booklets provided at the end. Wonderful atmosphere. Super fun for an afternoon of relaxed day drinking.

Great choice to visit away from the fast paced hustle and bustle, Chalong Bay staff are knowledgeable and the rum is top notch. A tour is affordable and informative (with a life changing mojito thrown in), and the atmosphere is almost as nice as the drinks. One of the best outings of our trip, highly recommend!

A rum-specialized Indy distillery in Chalong bay area owned by 2 Frenchs that has good impression with Thai people helping them during the Tsunami mayhem. The spirit produced is one of a kind using fresh sugar cane juice instead of molasses like that other commercial makers do. The result is fragrant rum with fresh sugar cane aroma. The place is nice with restaurant and cafe fit for chill out. There is daily distillery tour offered that you will get a chance to taste the 7 different rum and Gin.

Had an amazing time there. The tour was relatively short, but a good intro if you wanna know about background of the distillery. Staffs were very welcoming and the place have a great vibe. Taco Tuesday was fun. To tourists, therere Grab around (300B to the old town area).Summary: highly recommended.

Wonderful time with a very friendly staff making you feel the best out of what you try especially rum and their recently introduced gin. I tried both their tour of the Distillery as well as their cocktail mix session where you are introduced with cocktail making. Both are recommended. I even tried their brunch set mix where the food was really tasty and you get lots of variety to try out. Love their dishes and would definitely visit again.

Had a wonderful time at their cocktail making workshop. Included in the price is three cocktails which you learn to make, a tour, tasting of all their products, and an appetizer. The time is really well planned out so you have time to enjoy your drink and the cocktails were fantastic! Staff were incredibly knowledgeable and the company ethos is local sustainable product. They promote non-burning practices with sugarcane farming and fair trade. Great to see a high quality local product being created with this in mind!

Great rum distillery tour in a lush sugarcane environment with some refreshing cocktails. Food also was very good. Great for a daytime boozy chill session. Would recommend.

Came here on a bit of a whim as it was close to Wat Chalong and really enjoyed ourselves. Didnt have a lot of time so just did the 6 rum tasting for 300THB. Netty took us through and we loved talking to her and got a tad tipsy as well. Really lovely setting and something a bit different to do on the island.

One can just walk-in and book the tour as per time and pocket. Distillery visited worth 450 baht which includes a 30 minutes guided tour with tasting session. First tour begins at 2PM and the last one at 6PM. If you want to join Cocktail workshop that is worth 1700 baht (bit expensive for mewhich includes 2 hours experience. Otherwise Restaurant and bar is open all day from 11AM till 11PM. One can also organised or plan Private event.We had a guided tour of Chalong Bay Rum Distillery with Nettie,who was very informative, friendly English speaking guide. Good presentation in tour. The place itself is very refreshing with chic garden decor. They have some good white rum with infused Asian flavours. Really good ambience to chill. A nice place to spend a quiet afternoon. Awesome experience to take a tour in the distillery and tasting 6 flavors of rum they produce. Really good ambience to chillax as a team. I recommend this to team to come down here and spend a quiet evening. Even though I had opportunity to make your own cocktail, schedule did not permit me. Maybe another time...

The tour is short (as advertisedaround 25-30 mins. Do not expect to see the actually distillery happening, but expect to understand how the product is made and see the equipment used. The guide speaks English well and explains the whole process of making Chalong Bay Rum. The mojito cocktail is strong - be aware of this! The tasting is also great at the end, and if you like the product, make sure you buy it at the factory. It is the cheapest around Thailand (including Duty Freeand you can pay by card!

This was the highlight of our trip. Delicious rum and amazing staff. The tour was very informative and worth the price!The Chalong Bay Rum team know what theyre doing. Theyve won awards in San Francisco and Hong Kong. They also care for the environment and fairly sustainable!

Loved learning how they make Chalong Bay rum. The tour wasn’t amazing for the price, but it was informative and we tasted all of the rum flavors. The restaurant is a casual setting with jenga and cards available for play. We tried the rum daiquiris, which were more like cocktails than alcoholic slushees.

Sweet atmosphere during night. They provide Rum Tour and their guides are amazing. They explain the informations about Rum so clearly and will answer your question well. Their rums are amazing and we got some free tasting Mojito during our tour (Virgin Mojito are also available).

First of all, I highly recommend visiting this distillery if you are looking for something off the beaten path. We did the 30 minute tour and learned some interesting things about rum, sugarcane, and the distillery itself. They have a beautiful bar/restaurant area where they serve a multitude of delicious rum based cocktails in addition to some really solid tapas. As another reviewer said, it is open air but on a 28° August night it was very comfortable with great air flow.

Amazing tour! Took about 40 minuets. You get a mojito with the tour plus samples of all their rums. Very affordable 450tbh tour. Rum bottles were priced very well also. Ice cream was great. Would definitely go again.

Nice ambience with an open bar. If you’re waiting for the distillery tour in the open bar area, you can ask them to serve your mojito (included in your tour pricewhilst you wait for the tour to start.

This place was a lot of fun, we had our complimentary mojitos while we waited for the tour to begin, the tours start from 2pm and run about 30-45min long and start again on the hour, they cost 450baht and u get to taste all their rims at the end, good fun and value for money and the bar space is super fun and relaxing

It was a great presentation on the 30 min tour... i wouldnt pay for the 2 hour tour due to price being to high and the facility being so small i would not know how they would spend that much time telling you about the process... i had a great experience since most of phuket is dirty and people the locals overcharge for everything .... its clean and very good atmosphere with the a bar that is surrounded by sugarcane, banana trees, the clean smell decorated with lights, they even play spanish music that makes you forget you are in thailand lol(or maybe i had too many great tasting mojitos which 1 came with tourdrinks are amazing and the only reason i give this place a 4 is because i think that the 2 hr tour is overpriced 54.00 dollars a person; but the 30 minute tour made me buy a couple bottles due to the information and quality of the rum.. overall is a must go if you are in Phuket.

If you love and appreciate a good glass of spirits, you will love your experience here. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is just lovely and absolutely relaxing, and their 30 min tour will deepen your appreciation and knowledge about spirits. For 300 bahts, you get the 30 min tour, a mojito made with their chalong bay rum, and a rum tasting after the tour.It was definitely worth the trip out to the area, and was the perfect spot to pick up souvenirs for my fellow drinkers.

Good place to stop by for the tour, 300 baht includes the half hour tour, a mojito and tasting of their various rum blends. If you have a car and are nearby stop in, but not really worth a taxi ride across the island unless you are a true rum connoisseur.

I wasnt a rum fan before I tried Chalong Bay, but having been given some from a friend and now having seen the place where they make it, Im completely hooked. The distillery bar / open air seating area is great to hang out in and grab a mojito but the jewels of this place, beyond the superb rum (of which there are 5 great flavours - I tried them all and struggle to pick a favouriteare the staff. From the owners to the tour guides, to the waitresses and bar staff, they are all friendly, chatty and well informed. Its definitely worth taking 30 minutes to grab a tour with Nett, Pimm, Boom or Gii and dust off the ignorance from your rum-making knowledge. Highly recommended.
