The weather was sunny . So choose the best weather ( cloudy . btw we have tried the Chairlifts it was great .

Beautiful lake landscape, seized by some greedy people. They charge you money ridiculously for every possible excuse, yes even for letting you climb a bunch of stone stairs on a hill side!!!

Extraordinary place for a day trip for couples and families. Shouldnt be 3x expensive for tourists though.

Best Picnic Point and You can also enjoy snowfall there.

very touristy place. its one time visit place. Carry your own food when you go there and dont eat lunch there. Eat your lunch in Torqobah. Its very close and the restaurant there are cheaper and the food tastes better

An interesting and excellent place for tourists Chalider, in Persian, “Validre” is one of the entertainment places in the city of Mashhad. A lake was built behind an earthen dam to irrigate gardens around the “Tarqba” area. This area contains recreational facilities such as boating, fishing, and restaurants. The dam on the lake is a dirt dam with a mud core inundated by the "Jahark" river. The dam was built at the beginning of the road to “Naginder” village, on the left side of the road in the valley of the same name.The Chalider Dam entertainment complex is considered one of the sub valleys of the Tarqabah area, and a completely separate recreational area has been established, and thus this helped attract these tourists to it, and its popularity and visitors increased, and a future expansion of this area was observed.To ensure the comfort of the tourists, beautiful pavilion spaces and restaurants have been built and the boats are provided with facilities for pedal boats, commuters, kites, fishing, traps, cable cars and bungee jumping at this location. Ive been there in the winter, it was snowy there while there was nothing in the city center.Its a beautiful place offering several entertainments like: Boats, Lake, Chairlift (Télésiège), Train, Carting, Offroad etc.Services are a bit expensive there.Commuting Tip: its good to go there and come back with the same car, taxis there are more expensive than the one you go there.Its worth going there in total.

I have just been there, in winter it is not recommended to go there.There was nothing interesting and it was so quiet and also expensive!

Several entertainment for families and could be an enjoyable and memorable half-day excursion; it can get cold in autumn and winter though.

Would not recommend any one to visit this place..there is absolutely no fun there! You are just wasting your time and money driving to this place!

However, the wealth of Mashhad tourist attractions goes beyond its glorious shrine. Mashhad is the capital of Razavi Khorasan province, a vast and beautiful region famous for the production of the best saffron in the world. Nature is surprisingly multifaceted in Khorasan; from the snow-capped peaks of Binaloud to expansive green valleys in Chalidarreh, nature opens its generous bosom to anyone who seeks a respite from the turmoil and tension of the city life. Chalidarreh is an immensely popular recreational complex 33 km east of Mashhad near the town of Torqabeh. To irrigate the vast farms near the town, a dam was built near Torqabeh in a region called Chalidarreh. But the huge lake that formed behind the dam has many other functions besides watering the farmlands. Given the unique geographical location of the region which is an amazing combination of mountains, green valleys and an artificial lake, many entertainment facilities have been established in the recent years. First, we have the wonderful water activities practiced in the lake. These encompass fairly conventional activities such as fishing and boating and more exciting features such as scuba diving and motor boating. There is also a spa where you are massaged and pedicured with a magical species of fish native to the Middle-East called Garra rufa (Doctor Fish). Then we have the more adventurous activities such as the phenomenal chairlift ride over the lake and the mountains. For the daredevils, there is a zip-line center where they can fly over the lake like Superman! If even that proves insufficient for some, a visit to the bungee jumping center of Chalidarreh will certainly provide them with enough dose of adrenalin! But not everything is about crazy rides and water activities. There is ample space around the lake for camping and spending time with friends and family. If you are travelling with one of Mashhad day tours, they will take care of the transportation. But if you are on your own, a taxi ride from any of Mashhad hostels and hotels to Chalidarreh shouldn’t cost you more than 12 USD.Chalidarreh is a recreational region ideal for the warm months of the year. What do Mashhad tours offer for the cold season? They invite you to a memorable skiing experience in the heights Binaloud, the largest mountain chain in Khorasan.

Unfortunately the telesiege was not working and there was only two other options to get to the site, a slow moving rail bus and a dirty shuttle. They dont let you drive your own car. The shuttle was stopped at the main station until be fully loaded. During the weekdays it usually takes 30-45 minutes. The shuttle ticket was 10,000 Toman per person for a return trip which was so expensive for that service. The are very low quality activity on the site. It was the first and last time I have ever been there. Dont waste your time. Its not recommended

A really good place in forests of north of Iran with beautiful views.

A really nice place where you can take the tele or the train to cross the hills and the small lake. Also you can a take a tour by paddling through the lake or you can take fast boat to spend a joyful time. There are ice cream small fairs in the mid of the lake. Here some picture I took my self during riding the tele.

Big disappointment! High sky prices, awful coffee, nothing interesting to do...Nature was the only thing to admire :)

We went there last night (7 sep 2018), Really good season! there are diffrent ways to cross and see the lake:*Telesiege (chair lift: about 2$*Train*by stairsfacilities was good and also there was unique turning coffe shop in 40m height! (2$+bungee jumping (10$)water leisure included: boat riding, Ski, (littleCruise, diving(summerand fishing.Other entertainment: virtuall reality, etc...

There is some coffee shop and restaurant which have a nice view to the lake. Also water entertainments are available.In the afternoon and the night it gets cold .

Well its a beautiful place obviously so Ill suggest you guys to give it a try but at least the times when its not super crowded! >.< our itll take too much time to wait in line

Beautiful palace, a lake located in a valley above a mountain, the air around the lake is much cooler than the city. Lots of facilities and restaurant. Several boat rides: fast, slow and pedaling boats. The only thing is that the hanging chairs cable that take you over the mountain to the lake arrives at a different location across the lake than the group lift next to it. Making it a bit difficult for groups that chose to go up the mountain using different methods to meet up later.
