Chalet Latip D' Ayer Itam in Taiping

The water flow in the stream colour a bit blacky, not clear. This may be due to natural mineral contained in the water. Moreover, this place called KAMPONG AIR HITAM, means Village of Blacky Water.

Stayed in family cottage. Rooms quite comfy and spacious for 7 adults and 2 children. Separate bathroom and toilet. Have space at the back of chalet, convenient for barbeque and outdoor cooking. Cool river for swimming but be careful when rain is coming

Nice place to escape one or two day trip, with clean river and a place to barbecue. Each unit had a total of 10 single bed, 7 below and 3 on the 1st floor.

Check in on 3/2/2022 at Family Cottage.The unit@places facing river and overall is ok.The environment is clean & tidy.Night views is so nice with the variety of lightings.A few thing need to be consideration to do upgrading@improvement such as ;1). The water pressure at shower room... very low@slow (some part need to do maintenance - loosing of taps).2). Door lockset - easy to break-thru.3). Its better to provide free-wifi (due to the tv channel that provided with basic channel only - just TV1, TV2 & TV3).4). Breakfast - better to be add-in (with local@kampung foods).

Been here once, early this month and counting days for a repeat end of this month. 💕

Came last 2 weeks to this beautiful chalet, but rainy season so very limited time to go down to the river.. they will rang a sirent if rain started so you have to leave the river stat. Otherwise, so cold in the night so can vhoose between aircond or fan. Nice room, sleep can be challenging for toddlers as the river sounds are so loud if your chalet nearby.

BROOOO hands down the best place to go if u live in perak AND want to mandi air terjun!!! itll be EXTRA fun if u come here with friends and family!! they have barbeque also (the bad: so many insects but understandable)

Uniquely nice chalet in a clean surrounding..but river is too expose with almost no private hide out. Should plant more small trees to be in harmony with the environment..but understand everything is still new. There are still more in construction. Will come back again to see hows the completion like.

Nice place to stay, far from city, wide river stream with rocks, inside-chalet toilet and bathroom with hot water, mini cafeteria. Chalet can fit 2 family with 2 floor. Chalet is beside river stream. Can rent BBQ grill set. There are also mini fridge in the chalet, corded iron, and praying mat. Visitors are recommended to buy drinking waters because theres only 6 500ml drinking water provided to users. Chalet is well lighted for night activities. During our visit, there are some expansion made by the owner for flying fox activities, hall and swimming pool. We are satisfied by the surrounding of this chalet.

overpriced for a basic amenities provided by the chalet.service is so slow. have to pay rm40 for bbq place and rm30 for small canopy whereby they shd provide it for free. we have to pay RM70 just to have bbq.
