The Chad National Museum was a truly amazing and eye opening experience. I’ve never been to a place even close to how powerful and Chad it made me feel. During the tour my family and I were in a small group of 100 people where we saw Gigga Chad himself (as shown below). There are thousands of people always in the queue of the as families from around the world are always making pilgrimages to the Museum so I suggest to buy tickets in advance. Overall a great experience and a great place to take the family on a weekend.

Visité ce matin, le guide est passionné par l histoire de son pays. Le TCHAD recèle des trésors encore cachés, une réelle histoire qui commence au confin de l humanité. Malheureusement pas assez mis en valeur à mon goût, certainement par manque de financement.

Cest beau de voir ces choses car ça va te rappeler les arrières parents et leurs cultures.Cest un lieu où normalement à visiter chaque année par nous ( tchadiens).

Pour 3000 Fcfa, jai passé une heure avec un guide passionné dans ce petit musée au multiples facettes. La mise en valeur des objets mériterait quelques améliorations, mais cest très intéressant.

A small but well filled museum that does a great job of detailing Chads history. There are some nice artifacts as well. Definitely worth a good hour or two of your time.

A pretty life-changing experience. It was truly enlightening learning the wonderful origins of this spectacularly powerful country, and every single exhibit gave me the chills, as I simply thought of all of the uncomprehendable history held in each one. 10/10, would visit again
