The perfect place to have a good Italian dinner in a romantic and classic atmosphere.The food is delicious and also the Vine and Grappa.Grazie per la serata italiana

4 out of the 5 dishes we wanted to order were not available. These were some basic pasta dishes as well. We left without eating after yet another dish we wanted to order was not available after the waitress had previously told us it was. Waitress was also sullen and made it seem like an inconvenience we wanted to order food.Edit: One was a tomato pasta dish that had eggplant in it, one was a Bosciola, one was a Carbonara, cant remember the 4th.

Simply the best. Amazing food, also great gluten-free options.

Wow, just wow. An absolute hidden gem. All of the pasta is made in house and cooked to perfection. The sauces are delicious and the salads and ceviches are super fresh! The service is outstanding and the ambiance relaxed and very pleasant! Thank you so much guys, I will be back for more!

The octopus was tender and the ravioli with pesto was tasty....the ceviche was below average for the area but good....The hierbabuena lemonade I did not like....I prefer frozen not on the rocks

Excellent, authentic Italian food in the middle of the old city. Great prices and great options. Theyre very flexible about offering different types of pasta with each selection on their menu. Good vegetarian options for most dishes as well.

i have been to the trattoria some times ago, and when i go back in time with my mind to cartagena i always feel so nice about la trattoria, so i finelly realized to finelly write a review. great position, nice little (also romantic eventuallyspot, fair prices for cartagena, great italian handmade food and colombian/italian owners. for me happy memories :)

This place was NOT worth the money nor the time spent there! We were the only customers in the restauraunt and they took forever to serve us, never asked if we needed anything, and I had to chase the waitress every time I needed something. The lasagna tasted like it came out of a package and the NY Steak dinner I had was not seasoned at all and they didnt have sauce for the noodles. No seasoning and dry noodles. The owner was even sitting there with a group of other employees and they didnt have a care in the world. I will never come back here and unless you like wasting your time Id recommend you dont either. Go to a real 5-star restaurant not this tourist trap.

Hands down amazing food. Everything I come to Cartagena, I always make at least one reservation here (I always end up eating here twice on my trips). Everything is delicious and authentic. From their house made bread and pasta to their delicious tiramisu. Staff is courteous and service is phenomenal. Donde Wippy is one of my and my familys favorite spot to eat!

Seafood wasnt fresh. Value for price was very low. Not recommended.

9 different Freshly made pastas daily, and if its a traditional Italian dish it doesnt have to be on the Menu just ask and you should be Good. Good food better service and if you visit SA as much as I do youll live the service!! Must Stop!! Thank me later.

Juan Carlos was the most amazing host / owner. He brought us beers on the street while we waited for a table for 7 and made sure everything was perfect for us. He even introduced to his mother "Wippy" who started the restaurant. Im not lying when I say it was the best customer service experience Ive ever had.

Specialized in pasta and ceviche and they are able to bring some Italien flavors to the Caribbean. The staff seemed kinda uptight and insisted on a tip, without giving the chance to actually tip by choice which seemed kinda rude to me.

We went here due to their good selection of vegetarian pasta dishes and we were very impressed. The pastas were incredible and the sauces were rich and flavorful. The portions are generous. Their cocktails are good and strong. The place is small and classy, nice for a quiet dinner with conversation.

I found this place a tad overpriced. While the ceviche was good, it was a tiny plate. We felt the pasta was a bit lacking in flavor, especially at that price point. Much better can he had at these prices in colombia.

I love this restaurant. Service is good, a/c, large menu, housemade pasta, bread, nice wines, and the flavors are great. Pasta was cooked perfectly every single time and the prices are reasonable. I literally ate here like 3 or 4 times during my visit because the other restaurants just werent that great. This was my favorite restaurant in Cartagena.

Food and service were good. It was very calm and nice inside. I didnt get what I ordered, likely due to my bad Spanish, but it was still good.

Overpriced! And since we were the only couple in the restaurant, the waiter stared at us practically the whole time while we were eating. We ordered seafood pasta. Many of the mussels and clams weren’t open. The waiter told us to open them with our knife. We didn’t because that’s a usually an indication of bad shellfish. Needless to say, we didn’t enjoy the atmosphere and combined with the high prices this was a disappointing evening.

We tried one pasta and one ceviche. Both were delicious, albeit the pasta was a bit over salted. The staff is friendly and attentive. I recommend the Wippy ceviche.

Excellent pasta. Comes out piping hot. Lasagna, cáptese, bruschetta, lemon fish, pasta with shrimp were all very good. Small with few tables but not crowded on a Sunday night.

Very cute restaurant with amazing pasta. The ceviche is pretty good too. Waiters speak some English (and the menu is in Spanish and Englishand the service was very good too. Its great for dinner - small, nice place but not over the top.

Excellent food (everything - pastas, risottos and ceviches), but - sadly - extremely deceiving service. Waiter is not capable to remember who ordered what (we were a group of 8and broke a glass full of wine while serving the main course. And didn’t even have decency to offer a new one or, at least, to remove the broken one from the bill!

Best pasta Ive ever had! Me and my family had such an amazing night that we came back for more the next day. The fettucine terra e mare and the lobster were spectacular! Our waiter, Jairo, made us feel like we were home, which is the main catch of this place. Loved it!!

Amazing. Our first meal in Cartagena. It was so delicious that we came back a few days later to also have our last meal before returning home for this trip. Their seafood pastas are perfect. Mushroom appetizer was delicious and great with bread. Highly recommended to everyone.

High prices, simple setting, great portions, decent taste. I went for the ceviche which is in the name of the place but ended up being a place specialized in pasta. Few options in the menu, and only 2 dessert options available. The pasta that I ordered had barely any sauce in it. I think the place is way too overpriced. Theyre basically charging for the TripAdvisor rating.

Fantastic pasta. Seems relatively new, didnt have any other customers when we were there. But some of the best Italian food Ive eaten in Latin America.

Had no expectations going in, but if you are in cartagena this is rather lacklustre. The appetizer brushetta, something so simple but came out bland like the cream of the day, mushroom soup. The ingredients didnt feel fresh and I could barely eat anything that was served. Terrible ceviche, salad and pasta. Unbalanced flavours and simply a waste of time. Wish I could have gone else where, unfortunately. Its not even that nice if an atmosphere, it seems like a disgruntled chef is in the kitchen.

Really good pasta. Fresh made. My wife had Arribiata Pasta. I dont know what that is but she loved it. Made my day.
