Cervejaria Artesanal Adamastor in Lisbon
Description
Pretty good Caracois
Small cosy and delicious. 👍👍👍
small but very delicious and good pricing.
The roast chicken is tasty and generous serving of protein 😋
Good location, open early, lots of good food and alcohol
hope you dont like cold beer, the three kegs all sit by the front door
Great little craft beer bar. Having walked up the hill you can feel less guilty about having a beer or two or three!
MoreFriedly and small restaurant, food was really good!
An easygoing, simple, tasty bar connected to a small yet great brewery. Having 1 or 2 GREAT pints of stout at the middle of night is a delight. Easy to fall into fun beertalk with the owner. You wont leave thirsty!
MoreAuthentic Portuguese stew and cod, good enough, and very inexpensive.
Very friendly service, Vinho verde was excellent, refreshing on a hot night, the Cod in olive oil with batatas - lovely caramelized bits on the cod, my husbands roasted pork also very good, nice hints of garlic. Great basic food, good price, nice outdoor location in the heart of a busy neighbourhood.
MoreGreat beer (a few local beers only at the time of visit but generally more). Nice bartender directing us to visit the Dois Corvos and Musa breweries and taprooms... which we did.
MoreService is good, but the food is quite plain. Ordered a fried croquette and cod cake, which were cold. The tosta was small for Portuguese standards and didn’t taste anything special.
MorePrices are inline with traditional Portuguese eateries but the portions are quite a bit smaller. Food came out barely warm, must have been under a heat lamp. Tourist trap to avoid.
MoreExcellent food and very friendly staff-
Cozy bar with nice beer selection
Nice place to have a few drinks. Wasnt too busy when we were there. The owner spoke perfect English though.
MoreMenu for tourists...bland food. Forgettable. We were here for breakfast so I can’t speak for dinner menu.
MoreThe staff is the most amazing and helpful Ive encountered. The spot is awesome. The beers are unique.
MoreStumbled upon this little gem...authentic Portuges food...multo ben!
€3 for the worst bifana I had in Portugal. Stale and hard bread, and the meat only covered half the sandwich. You’ll find better and cheaper options elsewhere in barrio alto.
MoreGreat low prices for a traditional meal in portugal and all in a unique place that seems to hang on a corner.
MoreReally good and particular flavor ask for the beer of the house. 2.5 euros for a little glass of beer. Friendly place
MoreThe First Bar that I went in last year and everybody made me feel so welcome-I have been back 3 times since and booked in for 3 More in 2019!!!!
MoreGreat beer, Artesanal Brewery. The owners are nice and gentle, and the bar have very warm atmosphere, after few moments you feel like you ever been there.
MoreCheap and cheerful with friendly staff and traditional food. Good spot if you’re not looking for anything fancy.
MoreGreat beers, great spot, spot-on music, fantastic service (by Adir & owners- did I mention the fantastic local beer collection?! Have yourself a drink and knock yourself out! Cheers!
MoreIm giving 5 stars because we ate really well and a lot for a low price. In the 6€50 menu we had a cod meal (very tasty), bread, wine (average), pudding and coffee.Service is quick and effective and it is lovely to eat on the outside terrace.
MoreDoesnt even deserve one single star. 3.50€ for a glass of wine out of a 5lt box of wine that anyone can by in the super market. Shame, it is a petty
MoreFood was not very good. Sorry to say. Maybe I should have ordered something different. I ordered the cod fish cakes and they had lots of batter and very oily.
MoreGreat and friendly bartenders, nice craft beers - absolutely recommended place to visit.
MoreVery cute location and efficient if not friendly staff. Food not spectacular but nice enough. Worth it if you can get a seat outside.
MoreFriendly staff, amazing choice of craft beers and delicious snacks!
Great craft beer selection. The prices can be expensive, however worth the money if you are a fan of good beer. The service was good
MoreAmazing place, with a good craft beer menu, nice tapas and a fantastic energy! Love it.
MoreIt said it was open but no... I wouldn’t be so upset if I didn’t have to climb Everest to get there.
MoreThe name, the location and the place, couldn’t be any better,a perfect and typical representation of the zone, entry point to the Mirador Adamastor in Santa Catarina, definitely a must, owing to the charismatic owner Thomas and his wife Claudia, brilliant hosts, that have the art of teaching people, the art of drinking beer, actual tasting it with appreciation.Perfect before going to watch the sunset at the viewpoint and wonderful after sunset, into the night, with a collection of music that prepares you for a perfect evening.
MoreI saw the craft beer sign outside and had to go inside. To my surprise they have an awesome selection of craft beers. The owners are super knowledgeable about craft beer and friendly! This place is a must!
MoreThe best place to drink a craft beer in Lisbon! Amazing guys
Fantastic food and really well priced. The pig liver; delicious! The traditional pork sausage is also just so delicious! Also, wonderful service! Thanks again!
MoreGreat craft beers, nice service and delicious food! Will go there again for sure!
MoreThis is by far the best cervejaria we found in Lisboa. It is a small space but packed with the best beer and seafood, particularly the octopus salad. Outgoing and friendly staff and owners! Do not go past the door without stopping in.We had trouble finding anything other than lighter beers prior to entering this cervejaria. We told the owner and his assistant what kinds of beers we like (Porters, Stouts, and Brownsand they recommended four excellent, top notch bottles that were right on target. They really know the beer landscape and had a huge variety of styles. Served cold and refreshing. Then there was the food. The chef created, from scratch, fabulous, fresh, and flavorful dishes that still make me salivate just thinking about them. The dishes paired well with the beer.
MoreThis is a cosy little craft beer bar, with very good beers on tap and a fine selection of crafty bottles, I found it by accident and was so impressed I went back. The food is pretty good as well, I had a very good goulash one evening. The owners are a lovely couple and make you feel at home in an instant.
MoreExcellent place with delicious food and a big selection of beers!Amazing customer service, and neat small place that makes you feel cozy :)P.s. call ahead to find out if they have their famous hungarian gulash!P.p.s. pics of delicious chilli :)
MoreNot many seats. Service is friendly and the beer is very good.
An amazing, authentic, warm and welcoming place. Thomas and Pedro brew and sell the delicious Adamastor Weiss, a German Weiss beer, smooth refreshing and all too easy to drink. The atmosphere of this hidden gem is very friendly with great music and easy conversation from excellent hosts Thomas and Laura, they serve delicious home made food, that’s definitely worth staying for.
MoreAmazing bar serving up a wide selection of the burgeoning Lisbon craft beers. Thomas the owner is full of life and knows his beer. A must if youre in Lisbon!
MoreA great selection of true local (and othercraft beer in Lisbon with a friendly bartender happy to share her knowledge of the local beer scene. A must try.
MoreMy wife, friend and I visited this bar in August 2017 and met the owner, Thomas, his wife and various assistants. We were in Lisbon just a week, yet frequented the bar at least 4 times. We were smitten. We were made to feel incredibly welcome, and our hosts were always keen to help us feel comfortable and to introduce us to other guests and vice versa. In that short time, we made friends from Brazil, Italy, Switzerland, Columbia and France, all of whom were still in touch with. Its a great little location. Small, intimate, but we felt at home there, hence making a point of stopping off for at least a couple of (very gooddrinks each time we were nearby. In short, AMAZING beer, GREAT food (we didnt try too much food, just a couple of dishes, but both of which were delicious), and THE BEST company.I sincerely rate this place and recommend anyone drops by and gives it a whirl. If youre into craft beer in particular, then DONT MISS IT!P.S. Thomas looks like a cross between Ben Watt and Brad Pitt, just German.
MoreA reasonable selection of Portuguese craft beer in bottle , German, Belgian and Portuguese beer on tap. Friendly and knowledgeable bar staff.
