Centrale Shopping Centre in Kālia

Not the greatest shopping centre, still many units from opening day of Centrale which are empty. House of Fraser is the anchor shop now and since Debenhams has closed the place has gone downhill. My wife enjoys going to Zara. Croydon Council to blame for the deterioration of Croydon Town Centre over the last 15 years.

Omg, Croydon is a cropsack. The value of the £ just makes sale prices seem so much sadder in the outlets. And the food options here are so random, it makes start-ups or pop-ups look so much more attractive.

Once upon a time a thriving shopping centre but now a ghost town. Most shops have closed down including TopShop, H&M, however Superdry has managed to survive

Wide range of stores. Spacious and well kept shopping centre. Cool Lego displays dotted throughout for kids.

Nice shopping centre it could do with more designer shop not much choice only house of Fraser

Only went for my booster jab.But clean, bright with plenty of shops.

Its one of the last places to have shops on the high street

Parking was easy, although I did get there early (9:45am). The shops were good, toilets clean, plenty of places to get a drink. My main reason for visiting was to get a COVID booster and that went well too (no queues at all).

Croydon Town Centre is an absolute dump and totally run down. Streets strewn with rubbish due to overflowing litter bins. Subways stinking of stale urine and covered with vomit. Centrale also ripped me off for £5 parking when I overstayed for a minute should have cost me £2.50.Not worth a visit there are much nicer shopping centres in the locality like Bromley for instance...

Best place to go for the weekly and day to day shopping under one roof.In Croydon this is one of the most visited shopping centre.

Council should do something about it. Its becoming a deserted place, very smelly and looks like a ghost center..many brands have left the place.

I believe that as a result of the pandemic, many stores closed, but it is a very clean and cozy mall. I would add more food options in this space as well.

Getting quite depressing going to the centre. Atmosphere is where, shops look depressing to go into as it has a darkness of gloom when you enter Centrale and Croydon for that matter.

A bit of a chaos, the restrooms were not easy to locate, some were not too clean, while some did not have tissue paper.

Sightly confused layout and sadly a victim of the declining highstreet so many empty shops. House of Fraser is the biggest draw here, not much else here.

Pretty empty for a Sunday morning, but I got what I wanted.Should have had a list of shops and their address at the entrance.

Wry well maintained mall. Apart from the usual regular mall shops like next, etc the eating in options are good.

Is very disappointing to see Croydon so empty with so many shops closed. It is no longer the lively town centre I remember.

Nice big shopping centre with big name shops. But a lot of empty shops, closed shops and noticably reduced patronage.But they have a Mr Pretzels!!!😁 That alone gives 3 ⭐️.And it is clean.

Good variety of shops and well set out.Car park was closed which was a pain then to find suitable parking.

Its okay not many shops left many have closedown aseverything is so expensive people are buying just what they need now

Had some good shops but struggled to find places to eat. Love the comfy sofas tho couldve sat there for hours

Love Next clothing shop plus home furnishings, good quality clothes for women, men&babies & older children. The furnishing they do is top quality.

Shops closing for Westfield to be built so atmosphere and could.not find the shop I went there for.

Very welcoming, spacious,Maxy surveillance, kindly,friendly environment,double entrance from 2 opposite roads (front and backvote from 0 to 10 it will be definitely 9....full of shops, with notorious brands......very very enjoyable experience

Got some plants and a cheap printer, then had an overpriced, rancid meal. Not a completely wasted trip. The bus stop to go back towards the south is nowhere near where you would expect, very confusing, we got a taxi

Could do with a bit more lighting and modernism... May be someone from Hammerson group will read this do something about it... Instead if Debenhams it has a Next Outlet on the ground floor... And a Sports Direct, House of Fraser, normal Next, a Zara, Blu Inc the only one in South London... And so some jewellery shops, Superdrug, The Fragrance shop, café... Aldo was there but closed recently...

One of the biggest shopping centres of Croydon. There are shops to buy clothes, cafes, barber, jewellery and toilets. Prices are ok. I go almost everyday Starbucks in centrale shopping centre.

Wow, I used to love walking around Centrale, just looking at all the beautiful things in different shops, but with covid and Inflation a lot of shops and businesses have closed down making the once busy Central look, quite and empty.

A former shadow of itself. Most of the best high St flagship stores are vacant now. lots of shops are closed. Hopefully they can rejuvenate the area with better investment.

One of the best shopping malls have been in Croydon. But not many food choices around there available

Shopping Centre with a few tenant closures currently, but they are working hard to get back to capacity, parking reasonable, has coffee and food if needed

Live going to Centrale shopping centre, so many different stores and lots of options to choose from.Love the fact that they have the donut stands, sweet stands and snacks stand spread out across the shopping 🛍 centre.

Compact shopping centre in the Croydon central. Now Debenhams has closed. Next has its store and they also have added a Next outlet here.It is now much quieter than pre-covid.

Very quiet mostly chain shops but theyre losing a few there are now empty shop spaces, the McDonalds in there has now closed and the Samsung outlet is closing on the 31st

Well a lots happened in two and a half year.Hardly any shops the place is really dismal. It needs money to be injected into the centre and get back the businesses or maybe lower the rates so the owners will have a chance. Croydon has just gone downhill and its a shame.

Much like Whitgift Centre visited at same time it is amazing how many outlets have never been taken up or have closed now due to the pandemic.Possibly also ridiculous price of rents doesnt help.Oh & by the way this picture is of the Whitgift Centre & not Centrale Shopping Centre!

Great shopping experience, lot more to explore in Croydon area

Lot of things to see,and about staff at every store....they are perfect,everyone know how to make you to feel good,to leet you know where its everything

50+ shops, including 2 department store and fashion stores, only one place who have samsung support center for mobile and tablets, Samsung support center have good staff and very helpful staff

This is a big mall and you can find all kind of shops here.

Centrale Centre usually isnt as packed with people or with stores as Whitgift centre is.But during this pandemic if you want to be away from crowded places or people, this centre would be ideal for you but remember there isnt many stores in here too so you may exit out without realising thats the end of the tour.Check online for what stores are available these days, it may be a little confusing finding your stores which used to be there but are now gone.

There are two shopping centres in Croydon, Centrale Shopping Centre and Whitgift.Centrale Shopping Centre is nice and spacious and houses House of Fraser, H&M etc.On the second floor, there are some eateries.The best thing about this mall is that they have lots of seating for people to have a rest.

Brilliant gem of a shopping centre in the heart of Croydon.Car park was £4.00 for a hours parking which is a rip off but is clean and secure.House of Fraser department store has great selection and ultra friendly and engaged staff. One of my favourite places to shop, period.

A modern, stylish and chic shopping Mall with designer style decor and seating with lush plants in modern plant bases.The aroma of the mini Dutch waffles/pancakes fill the central ground area but I was in a hurry to eat something so didnt stop.Although smaller by far than the Whitgift shopping Mall, it is exquisitely designed and the seating although sparse are like those found in corporate offices.100++ stars for a really good shopping experience! 👍👊👋!
