Réserve naturelle du Suriname centralLa Réserve naturelle du Suriname central est inscrite depuis 2000, au patrimoine mondial de lUNESCO pour son immense forêt primaire tropicale au centre-ouest du Suriname.Cette réserve naturelle couvre 1,6 million dhectares de forêt primaire tropicale au centre-ouest du Suriname. Elle protège le haut bassin versant du fleuve Coppename, les sources des fleuves Lucie, Oost, Zuid, Saramaccz et Gran Rio, et contient toute une gamme de reliefs et décosystèmes importants pour la conservation en raison de leur état inaltéré. Les forêts de montagne et de plaine abritent une grande diversité de plantes avec plus de 5 000 espèces de plantes vasculaires répertoriées à ce jour. On y trouve des populations viables danimaux typiques de la région, comme le jaguar, le tatou géant, la loutre géante, le tapir, le paresseux, huit espèces de primates et 400 espèces doiseaux comme la harpie, le coq de roche de Guyane et lara au plumage écarlate.

I went to Raleighvallen, which is absolutely gorgeous. Couldn’t do the Voltzberg hike, but would recommend it for the adventure hiker which will take most of the day to get to the top so bring water and light snacks e.g. granola bars and sandwiches. The accommodations are very rustic so don’t expect a luxurious cabin, because you are very deep into the jungle and there is no reception so you will have the ultimate experience of taking everything in. Reservations could either go via STINASU or a tour operator.

It is a okay place to go you can see different types of animals and see their colors sometimes they will even let you touch them but thats rare but I like the place I like looking at the animals and I like seeing them run and be in their environment maybe you should go one day I loved it maybe you will too well anyway I dont know much about it cuz Im leaving once but for now I think its good but Im not so sure about it yet maybe Ill go again and show you what there is to see maybe maybe there are different types of birds 2 you can see in the wild in the Nature Reserve there can be some parents maybe some Eagles who really knows Ive only been once and I didnt get to see all maybe one day Ill visit it again and review more on it
