Central Market - Tourist attraction in Shah Alam, Malaysia
less stalls rent at here recently, because of tourism location, selling items are on high side. Hope the shopping mall management provide more effective strategies to attract local & foreigner to visit.
Come at 2 oclock but many store close
Didnt see any shops open in this beautiful walkway during recent visit on Monday. Same like Central Market, cant feel the liveliness and attraction anymore.
Tempat oleh2 banyak pilihan disini
Mcm ad disini. Bleh siggah klau dtg melawat dsini. Alang2 dtg kuala lumpur
Mostly Niche homemade Food stalls that area really tasty but prices are abit steep for KL. Not worth a visit if your here for a short stay as its a small Market.
Chợ đêm bán đồ truyền thống Malay.
Awesome weather
This lane, mainly run by Malay vendors for Halal foods and items for Malay communities. Not very long lane but quite interesting place to visit and there is a few eatries beside.
Visited back in Jan.Kasturi Walk is a covered walkway adjacent to Central Market where there’s lots of food and clothing stalls. I’ve visited and walked past this place many times I’ve been in Kuala Lumpur and never felt the need to linger much expect to get a drink or a snack. Most of the stalls are just selling stuff you can get anywhere, especially in nearby Petaling Street. You’ll likely see this if you going to Central Market, but I wouldn’t go out of the way to visit this place. The only mildly interesting things about this street is the roof that covers the length of the street. The shade provides relief from the sun, but not much good when it’s raining.
I Love this place, very beautiful, old, with traditional stuff, good place to buy gifts
Great shopping location
This was ok but most items I was able to find cheaper in Central Market or over in Chinatown. My son got a yummy, fresh smoothie though. It is worth a look if you are going to Central Market anyway. It only takes a few minutes to get through. Many of the shop/stand owners are willing to bargain
Pusat jajanan dan barang barang KW sekitar Central Market dan Petaling Street China Town
Outdoor flea market located side by side with the famous central market or pasar seni. At here you can find many food n beverage seller, cloths, shoes, gadget assesories, and even fruit. For the price, it still affordable, and some of them provide bargaining system. So your skills will determine the price that you have to pay..
Nice outside walk with some food option but mainly touristy stalls. It’s like an extension of the central market.
Schöner Markt
A day and night open market street with high sheltered Malaysian kite themed structures and alongside the iconic Central Market. Lined with smaller stalls selling quick snacks, fresh drinks, souvenirs etc. We came here early and hang around here before the opening of the Central Market. Products and services are priced mainly for local or overseas tourists. Parking is difficult but the walk is just a stone throw from Pasar Seni LRT station.
Definely a must place to visit when in KL!
A centre spine that shelter one from the pedestrian and tourists from the sun and rain, but less effective on the heat. Retail stalls line both sides of the street. Bustling, noise filled with Japanese, Korea, Malya, English and Chinese languages, all trying to convince you to buy something which you can bring back as souvenirs and gifts for your love ones. Sure, the visual is exciting, selfies, announcement to the world your where about, and a piece of photographic work for posterity are just a click away from your mobile, who needs a pocket camera, and the SLR is such a chore to handle. Quick quick are you done? That verse is gone, everyone knows how to adjust to be photographed and leave a nie pose. Come and selfie to your heart.
A really small stretch of flea market shops adjacent to the Central Market, and has definitely benefited from its proximity to the renowned market.Pretty limited selection on its own, and most shops doesn’t put up price tags, putting our negotiation and bargaining skills to the test.Would recommend only if you are here to visit The Central market, and visiting as an extension, otherwise it’s really just a brisk walk by itself!
Pretty nice place to go for a stroll or a quick bite. This place is open day and night, with certain shops only being open in the day and others popping up only at night
iconic
good, clean, many goods sell here. really nice seller.
Nice place to buy crafts and gifts
Small street , You wont get much. Go-to Petaling street instead
Bagus sekali bangat
Kasturi Walk is one of the open-air market, it is next to Central Market, also known as Pasar Seni. There are many Malaysian food stalls.
Great shopping area.
Similar to petaling street sells variety of souveniers, bag, shoes and clothes.
Look for the traditional Putu steamed in bamboo. Yummy 😋
Los of investing Street shopping and Street food. This place can be very easily reached from Pasar Seni LRT station.
Central Market, also known as Pasar Seni, is a well-renowned heritage site and a popular tourist attraction in Kuala Lumpur. Strategically situated in the heart of the city, Central Market is located at Jalan Hang Kasturi, a few minutes from another popular tourist attraction, Petaling Street.

I always find it very interesting to visit a local market when traveling.
