I suggest everyone not to go there.They are simply cheater. We went there after seeing at internet. (1 They dont have wash room/toilet properly. You cannot stay inside the room,if anyone goes to toilet or potty.Room size very very small though it is not proper room. Just a covered small place. (2They dont serve any food even arrange from outside. (3)As its position long inside from main road, its not possible to comeout all time for every needs.

Horrible experience. No service at all. They are taking money for each point but no service. Pathetic room with tiny dirty and dark bathroom. No food arrangement,quarter bucket hot water costs rs.40! Dishonest owner.

Worse choice to stay ,they are fraud. They will cancel your booking in last minute and they have already given this kind of unprofessional attitude to many customer as you can see in reviews section. I strongly suggestion is - Do not choose to stay in this Guest House.

If one wants to stay in Kohima in a reasonable budget, this is a nice place for them.They provide clean room and necessary items as asked by the tourists. They also provide information about how to travel and to sightseeing in Kohima.The owner treats everyone very well.One can ask for hot water to drink as well as to take bath.It is located in close proximity to Kohima taxi & bus stand.

Great for solo travelers and backpackers. I wish the prices couldve been a little cheaper but the location is extremely convenient- right at the bus stop. The roof top cafe is great as well, just hoping for a little more variety in the food menu. The manager, Potha was an absolute sweetheart and a great conversationist!

Visited Kohima for first time after traveling so far from Delhi.Although booked standard room for inRs 2700/day( total Rs 5400/- for 2 daysand took confirmation one day prior, hotel owner gave room to someone else, told us standard room has maintenance issue, wanted us to take rooms substandard to what we booked.It was horn bill festival season, hotels around were packed , it was very bad start of day and trip. Had very unprofessional and rude experience from hotel owner and managing staff.

This is my preferred place to stay in Kohima. Budget friendly and located adjacent to NST. The staffs are very polite and helpful. I visited twice to Kohima and every time I chose Central Guest House. I would suggest every backpacker to look for this guest house if visiting Kohima.

I came across CGH during the time of hornbill, so that may be the reason they hiked the prices. Rooms are clean. Little expensive than expected but maybe one among the cheapest in kohima. Its good since its near to NST and its clean.Note: bathrooms are common

Its a nice affordable guesthouse, its more like hostel with dorms. 500/- per person, highly recommended for people staying in Kohima

The breakfast is poor, we had only white bread with butter. The kitchen crew was missing so we had to make it ourselfs in the kitchen and pay for it.Over priced and dirty.The uper floor feels like its not yet built.Further more, you can hear any conversation from any room in the floor. Feels like dorms in a private room.

The best place to stay in Kohima..Near NST bus stand..stafs are good..and dormitory is best..

Good budget room in the kohima,specially for backpackers.- Location is perfect, at the centre of city, in the proximity of Bus station (NST), taxi station and market.- Owner is very helpful, and the caretakers are very humble and prepares very tasty food at genuine rate. Veg& non veg both available.Only drawback is shared toilet and bathroom.- This hostel is still underconstruction, owner told us the new structure and that seems to be quite fascinating.- Good Wi Fi- Sunrise view from the room is amazing.CHARGES:DORMATRY : 200 (INR)SINGLE ROOM: 500DOUBLE ROOM: 700

Got the double bed room.The rooms were gross. I think a bit of cleaning will improve drastically the aspect of the place. The bathroom/toilet could be also a bit cleaner.For the price, they should also provide lockers on the dormitory a think.

Easy to get in, great for backpackers. Just 50 metres from the central place. Not so good for family. Shared bathroom. Rooms are too small. Nice owner.

Cheap and comfortable. You can find dorms downstairs and private rooms upstairs.

Very bad attitude. It would get anyone worried if the owner breaks into your room without informing you. On top of that, did not provide any reason for breaking the lock and got violent. I left immediately. Informed the matter at police station.

Nice place for stay in Kohima.At very convenient and communication system is very good.Rooms are small but not very bad.

Three star for comfortable backpacker accommodation but they are extremely unprofessional. Called them a month in advance to book 2 rooms but when we arrived, there was no room for us. The rooms were occupied by other guests who decided to extend their stay!!To my surprise, the same incident happened again when we came back for the last night in Kohima after a trek in Dzukou!

Cheapest hostel I could find in Kohima. Rs 300/person in off season for 10 bed dorm. Pretty close to market. Good staff.

The dormitory here is love. Perfect for a group of max 10 people. It is quite hygienic and well made. It is a reasonably priced place to stay in Kohima if you are traveling in a group.They also had some rooms meant for 2 people.

Room size too small , feels congested and claustrophobic. Otherwise clean and safe. Location is very good near NST stand and taxi stand. Food was okay and lot of options nearby outside in the market.

Space is less. But we were here for trekking, seeing the guest house from a traveler point of view its very nice and Budjet friendly. You will get food here as well.

Friendly staff and hospitality is too good..Here room are available in low prices..And if u want to do trekking then u can take tents , sleeping bags , pillows on rent...nd if u want staying in this hotel..its good nd cheaper to comparing other hotels.. bt not much more option for food and m not recommended to veggie for staying in this hotel...

Central guest house provides you cheap stay.They provide all hiking accessories for rentals . Good for solo travellers.

Expectations were a little more but didnot made it up moreover there was no water ,had to bath with rainwater but the views were satisfying

An unparalleled space for a budget stay in Kohima. The Hosts are warm welcoming as well as very polite and friendly. The view from the café very uniquely pictures the town and the hills beyond. The guest house is located at a very calm amd serene atmosphere. It is just below the much busy street but nothing of the street come downtown till the place.The rooms are clean and simple. The food served here is delicious but not much cheap as youll find it hard to find cheaper food anywhere here in Kohima.Ill suggest you to try the experience if you are an explorer.

Great budget accommodation. The rooms are small but clean and they have enough room in the common area to work on a laptop or hangout. Located down some stairs but very near a bus stand and many shops. Staff are always friendly and the food is cheap but decent.

Good rooms but not ok atshapa

Located at the central point of Kohima....Only solo travelers / backpackers should try dis...coz they are providing only matchbox sized rooms.....bt it was a nice stay....care takers are gud with their jobs.....they had a small kitchen so that at any point of time u wont be hungry..... regarding parking , its at owners risk dat too in public places....i think almost all budget accommodation having same issues.....common bathroom but maintained it clean.....

Situated at a place where the scenery is worth every drop of sweat! Decent food according to the conditions. Options of dormitory or camping, both are available, but youd have to bring your own tent.

Good location, nice room with a view on Kohima, unfortunately shared bathroom (no hot water, no shower, you can buy a bucket for extra charge).One thing was extremely annoying,we stayed here for few nights and every single evening one of the owners was playing guitar and singing the same song on and on next to our room!!!when after third night I finally approached him saying that I cant stand it anymore he laughed and said that they would play few more times because they were recording.I had to argue with the owner for few minutes so that he would stop making the noise!!!!finally he went upstairs but continued playing!at least it wasnt so loud anymore...but still can you imagine such customer service???

I have never stayed at place worse than this one.I had booked a room for myself well in advance. When I reached late in the evening, they said that the room is taken.I informed them about the advance booking, but the owner (over the phonesaid he cant help it since he has given the room to other guest.He then offered my a dorm for an even higher price. Since it was late, I had no other choice but to take it.The dorm had five mattress and six people had to share it. There were bed bugs as well.Thats not all. At night, while a German man and I were working in the common room (the only place where you get Wi-Fi), a caretaker came and said that shes going to switch off the lights and the WiFi.It was so appalling. I have never stayed at a place as pathetic as this one.The only good thing this guesthouse had was one of the caretakers. He, too, said how bad the owner is.Guess what, he called me up last month and said that he finally left the job.

Nice place to stay in Kohima. Just beside the NST and near to the War Cemetery and central market. Giggle recommend this place. You get a amazing view of the Kohima town from the food and balcony

Nice rooms, clean and quiet ambiance so homely and I guess so far this will be the cheapest rate available in Kohima. The only thing which I find missing is geyser, Kohima being a very cold place it is very uncomfortable taking shower with cold water so installing geyser in the bathrooms would have been great, also it would have been very convenient if there is an option for online or card payment. The property accepts only cash so please ensure u have enough hard cash so as to avoid the trouble going to ATM. However given the room rate tariff and service offered by the property is A1 hence lack of those facilities can simply be ignored.

Well suited for budgets travellers/solo travellers. Situated at walking distance from the main taxi stand.

Very basic accommodation at a quite high price. No heating no warm water and a general lack of feeling how a good good Guesthouse should look like.
