Cavalier South Beach Hotel in Miami Beach

Quite a stunning hotel. Quite surprised for a 3 star. Rooms are clean , pillows are quite small (almost half of the size of normal ones). Great location , restaurants and bars are within walking distance , beach is right in front of you. Breakfast was surprisingly a great portion with variety.

This is a classic style hotel , the room was clean and very good.The wifi was really fast . The a/c worked very well.The location is perfect 2 minutes walking from the south beach.Also they offer 2 chairs in the beach with the room.Definitely highly recommended to stay in Miami.

Great location for sure! Hotel is nicely decorated, rooms are sufficient in size for a few nights. Free chairs and beach towels are a nice extra!Breakfast is a bit meager, not a lot of things to choose from (basically pancakes or eggs w potatoes). No juices etc. Personnel a check-in is great, but breakfast staff is quite rude sometimes (we changed our table so we would not have to sit in the sun, server was very angry even though it was 3ft away and we notified her as soon as we saw her)I do not know who designed the shower in our room though. Have never seen such an unpractical Design, which does not allow you to shower without setting the whole bathroom under water.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and is perfectly situated in SoBe. Staff was pleasant. I’d stay here again, conditionally. Here for work and my room was right next to the lobby/bar area. I can hear every conversation, step, door opening, etc. It’s the first time I’ve ever slept with headphones on all night to drown out the noise. Also, you aren’t able to control the temperature in your room, which for those that like to sleep cooler, may not work.

Loved this hotel! The service I received from Eddy at the front desk was first rate! He made my birthday trip so special and was so welcoming. He was a true professional! The hotel is so beautiful and the art deco style was just gorgeous. I was pleased with the price, the location was superb and the restaurant on site served us a wonderful meal. We will be back and thank you again Eddy!

This hotel has tons of character. The rooms remind me of an Italian apartment or hotel. The bar makes tasty and huge mixed drinks. Finally, the food! Best pizza in Florida. It is very hard to find good pizza in FL. Look no further.

Great location- in the middle of everything on south beach. Room kinda small but clean and comfortable. Staff unbelievably helpful and cordial. My wife is Colombian and it was nice for her to talk to some Colombian staff - particularly Diana. Restaurant good with many options. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel exceeded our expectations!!! Starting with the lobby, that is incredible Art Deco decorated with a great coffee (my parents loved the coffee!and a bar serving drinks. The Hotel is located on the Ocean Drive, so just a few steps you are on the beach!!! Perfect location, lots of restaurants around and many things to do.The room was super clean and with a nice decoration - simple but chic. The bed (we stayed on a King roomwas very comfortable, good pillows, and the restroom was good. I felt in love for the shower - it remembered me a waterfall, good water pression, good temperature control and lots of water! Love it!And what can I say about the staff? For sure the best customer service we experienced here in Miami! I want to say an especial THANK YOU for you, Eddie, who helped us in the front desk with our check-in. Eddie went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and give us a warm welcome to Miami.We will stay here again in our next time in Miami!!!

The front desk gentleman was very friendly and polite. The bathroom was newer and modern and photos online of the rooms are accurate. Location on ocean drive is convenient to the beach and restaurants.However, I would not stay here again. The walls are not sound proof and you can hear the elevator and hallway noise. The room AC didn’t work and room was very hot. Worse part was that the fan doesn’t even come on to circulate the air. The window in the bathroom opened, but no screen to keep the bugs out overnight. Room appeared clean but there were some make up marks on the bed sheets and also the body lotion was open and used. Online it is advertised that hotel offers valet parking for $35. But you have to go to the sister property 2 blocks away and leave the car there. The fee also changes for a small SUV to $50.

Room is very clean, ac had some issues, staff was amazing, very helpful and polite. prices for a drink at the bar were very expensive, $25 old-fashioned with average bourbon. public parking is right behind the hotel, very convenient, $15 for a night at south beach isnt bad. liked the design of the room, bed was comfy, hardwood floors, shower was clean and nice.

The Cavalier hotel was a great decision. Exceptionally clean, steps to the beach, as in you can literally crawl to the beach. Prior to discovering this gem, we had two bad experiences on the same day, rooms that did not match their online descriptions. After spending the latter part of the day searching door to door we found this gem. Service focused. Rooms feel better than they look online. A++ & well be back!

Stopped at this beautiful hotel for cold drinks and to people watch! The staff were all friendly, polite and super efficient. The drinks were perfectly mixed. The interior of the lobby was super chic & stylish. Great location
