Trg Ivana Pavla II, 21220, Trogir, Croatia, Dubrovnik
Prominent 1200s cathedral with romanesque-gothic architecture & a bell tower visitors can climb.
Beautiful Cathedral situated in the middle of Trogir’s old town. The bell tower is a nice climb with excellent views. Well worth the cost to go up. It’s a beautiful church
Main church of Zadar. 30 kuna to get in, unfortunately for me there was a wedding when I was there... but... even from the outside, its a beautiful edifice, especially considering that its mostly Romanesque and gothic. Definitely worth your time!
Lovely cathedral with intricate carvings. Have to observe the dress code. Bell tower was worth the climb to give a good view of the old town.
Beautiful medieval church in the heart of Trogir. It is best after sunset, but expect more people.
Just a beautiful square in such a cute city!
13th century cathedral the icon of Trogir 👌🏼The order of mass:
Its worth climbing the steps to the top of the bell tower, probably the highest vantage point in Trogir, for the great view over the town and the view looking down the stairwell.
The Cathedral of St. Lawrence is a Roman Catholic triple-naved basilica constructed in Romanesque-Gothic in Trogir, Croatia.Since its construction lasted several centuries, it illustrates all the styles that succeeded one another in Dalmatia. It now serves as the most imposing monument in the city of Trogir.****A fee at the entrance was 30 kunas per person (only cashwhich allows you to enter the cathedral, the relics room, the rooftop and the top of the bell tower. The stairs are in good condition but quite tight. Not possible for people with reduced mobility.
Stunning architecture and amazing design of this cathedral. A bit too crowded
Stunning reliefs in the portico and the interior, and, if you have a head for heights, panoramic views from the belfry.
If there is only 1 church that you should visit in the whole Croatia, I think it should be this one
Amazing view from the top of the tower.
Must see and visit, you can enter and go up.
Very nice cathedral. If you like photography you would have a blast in this beautiful island.
Very peaceful and beautiful!
Nice architecture and a lot of detailed statues. Stunning view from bell tower but you have to be a wee bit careful because the stairs are steep. Really important information is that you are allowed to enter if you are wearing a strappy top. You should have your shoulders covered. The ticket is 30kn/person and they do not accept cards.

Discrimination on the whole, they did not let me in, despite the fact that I had a long dress with only shoulder straps. They let men in, women do not depend on the mood of the Lord at the gates. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE PLACE. Unpleasant for women.
Beautiful old building. The whole town center is worth visiting
The Cathedral and Bell Tower are in the main square and are a stunning experience in themselves. Climb to the top of the Bell Tower for magnificent views over Trogir and the surrounding area. Entrance to the Bell Tower costs 30 Kuna and its 25 Kuna to go into the Cathedral.
Beautiful gothic cathedral with extrordinary romanesque portal and the chapel of the Jonh of Trogir. Its a must see.
The Cathedral of St. Lawrence is the most known monument in the city of Trogir. It was built mostly in the 13th century. It is part of the historic core of Trogir.
The main attraction in Trogirs historic old town, with its towering bell tower and the historical entrance that is carved with the bible story. Its a shame to not be able to enter the church, but standing outside was enough to admire the architecture of the church.
Nice cathedral in amazing old Trogir with public square.
Clean and well maintained. Center of Trogir is nice old core of the town. Located in the vicinity of the Split airport in Dalmatia County. Worth a visit. Recommended!
Amazing atmosphere.bang on in the middle of the high street
Great place to visit , although it does get very busy, climb the bell tower for the best views of split
Well preserved and beautiful. It is worth while climbing the bill tower and enjoying the view from above.
Just an old town with narrow streets and hundreds of tourists. Maybe knowing the history would make this place more special. I was visiting this place with my family and a baby with stroller. Prices are higher as usual. There are market near by to buy some freshies ( fruits, veggies, fish ).
Absolutely worth a visit if youre in Trogir. Cant remember the exact price, but somewhere in the region of 5-10£. The view from the top is stunning, but does require a vertigo inducing climb up the stairs and a ladder at the top. If youre scared of heights this can be quite daunting, so be wary if youre scared of heights. The rest of the cathedral is equally beautiful, the artefacts and furnishings are astonishing and worth visiting on their own.Make sure you bring a camera of some sort, so you dont miss out on the spectacular view.
Beautiful building and history! A must go when you are in Trogir or Croatia! 25 kuna an adult.
Beautiful church with an even more beautiful view from the tower. Its very harsh on the no exposed shoulders rule so watch out for that - anybody who doesnt abide by it simply isnt allowed inside.
Probably it is a good building and very interesting of Xll century cathedral. But, please, take care with the very bad tempered receptionist -they are not profesional guide- (first time august 8th.2019Their expression were the worst in the world; we must phone the police. However the city is very interesting.
Located in an old square with lots of interesting buildings . A great place to sit relax and have a beer
Nice church... is located in the main part of Trogir. The architecture is baroque with influence of the Venetian style.Highly advised to reach the top of the bell tower the views are amazingPlease wear some flat shoes....
Beautiful church. There is a small fee of 25 kunas per person to enter, but that also includes entry up the bell tower. The stairs are steep and cramped and require some patience, as they do not accommodate people going up and coming down at the same time, so make sure to leave at least half an hour for the bell tower if you go during high tourist season.
A lovely cathedral, beautifully preserved. Definitely worth s visit.
Historic, compact city centre cathedral. A co8mb up the tower is a must to see panoramic views of Trogir.
Its not super spectacular, but if youre in Trogir, definiftely worth a visit. Be sure to go up the tower for a great view of the sea and the city.
Views from the tower. Excellent value for money. Interesting baptistry and treasury, which housed reliquary. Incredibly ornate Chapel and tomb with detailed stone carvings and sculptures including many cherubs. The trip up to tower was included in the cost of entry. Brilliant.
Nice place to visit, the bell towers stairs are quiet tight but deserve the walk to climb on top.
Very, very beautiful old city center. A lot of restauransts, bars, other shops. Nice.
Nice church with stunning entrance and nice bell tower. The church is a bit of a mongrel of styles but nice all the same. The tower has great views across the island and beyond but is a bit of a dodgy climb. With old electrical wires running across the the steep damp slippy stairs. Why the have not installed railings is crazy and will lead to an accident. The views from the top though do make up for most of those issues though.
The entrance fee is 25 Kuna per person. I would say its worth it if youre planning to go discover the whole place. Going to top of the tower can be a little risky so I dont recommond going if you have any sort of a injury or disability. But if youre planning to do it, take your time and dont rush it. And down look down.
Great church with beautiful details, especially the main entrance. The bell tower allows you to enjoy panoramic views of the city
located in the town centre surrounded by well preserved old buildings. The view from the top of the tower is wonderful
Very beautiful and worth a visit. Cute town with a large variety of restaurants
Small, however beautiful with historical buildings
Yet another place of worship. Currently under refurbishment. Check timetables online.
Very nice place with great view! Worth checking it out.
