Shops and Spire - San Isidro is a small town of cobblestone streets, tall leafy trees, and luxurious mansions off the coast of the Rio de La Plata. The downtown is filled with small shops and charming cafes - a great place to walk, stop, enjoy a coffee and people watch. The most notable building is the gothic San Isidro Cathedral that seems a little oversized for the town, but what an amazing building with its towering spire.

One of the most beautiful cathedrals of the Catholic cult in Argentina. It was built and opened in 1898.Neogothic style. Its interior vitreaux are a must see.Isidore the Labourer festival is celebrated on 15 May each year.Just a block away is the huge 100-stall Artisan Fair. Many nice places where to eat and enjoy the view on the surroundings.Open for visiting from 8:30am to 15am/4 pm to 8pm.Latest weekly mass: Sundays 8:30pm.

Beautiful cathedral in the center of San Isidro. Definitely worth visiting, and is right in front of Plaza Mitre, where there can often be vendors of foods, art, and souvenirs.

Beautiful Cathedral, a must for anyone visiting the zone. It has been renovated in the last couple years, so it can be seen its all its splendor.As with most Cathedrals, the entrance is free of charge and can be accessed at any time, except when there is a wedding.It is a good plan to come to the cathedral on a weekend as there is also a fair in the park across from it, where you can look at and buy some local artwork.
