Cathedral Park in Chisinau

Nice place to spend some time, there are a lot of pigeons though and sometimes strange people may aproach you. Besides that it feels nice clean and relaxing.

Dog lovers have to respect the slots of flowers not to be digged&pooed by their dogs without a leash and to have the good sense to clean the feces... Is about "education" to respect other people and employs there...

Is is a peaceful place to go to and has lots of comfortable benches and has lots of pathways to walk around the various lakes it has.

Nice, well-groomed park with a playground. It is required to put in order the paths for walking and make at least a couple of toilets.

great park, very green in summer, always fresh air, city smog settles in the lungs, sometimes you need to clean it and the park is just that.

Probably lovely in summer, past its best by November. A well maintained park right at the centre of the city containing the cathedral and bell tower, the Victory Arch and with the 24 hour flower market along the north east side. There is also a pretty little outdoor cafe and a bar with inside and outside seating. The cathedral looks quite plain from the outside, but is completely decorated with religious imagery and icons and so on inside, with a rich atmosphere.

Very lovely park. Clean with a nice layout. Wear thick jacket because it could get very cold especially during winter months.Good place to meet and network with new people.

Amazing city park, very nice, clean and arranged, have paint seller one part, other part sell the honey. Around have everything is need it.

A good place to meet friends. Location is perfect conected to all routes of public transport.

Beautiful church and tower, one of the nicest places in Chisinau. The tower is really beautiful especially when lit at night. You can make great photos here and the arc is facing the church.

A pleasant rather well kept park with a nice cafe. It is a great place to chill and watch people of all sorts taking a rest.

Unlile the presidental building, this park was very clean and well maintained. Despite its central location, it is very calm and quiet. Smoking is prohibted and that creates an overall fresh area for the park.

A truly great park to visit - situated in the city center,opposite the At.Stephen memorial statue & the national parliament.Its a very well kept central park,with refreshment facilities,and some music to relax by,being played from a nearby rooftop club !

Nice and green with plenty of places to sit on. The sidewalk needs to be fixed in some places. People should be banned from feeding those nasty pigeons, which are everywhere.

A lovely park in the center of Chisinau with children playing, good ice-cream and tall pine trees. I hope some day I will get back to this place to sit on bench and enjoy the urban view.

Its Chisinaus central park. The place is nice with alleys for walking and riding e.g. bikes. Still, there are no special area for pedestrians and other for transports. The park is being taken care of. The lights in the park during the night are preatty weak, still the views are nice.The park is safe and can be attended with children, elder people,or people with special needs. It has a pool, a beautiful cathedral (surrounded by lots of pigeonsand, on one side, ends with the triumphal arc (as the one on Champs elysees :-). The triumphal arc has a big clock, showing the right, local time.In front of the triumphal arc, you can see the buikding of Moldovian gouvernament.

Best spot for people watch, quite and relaxing place.

Ah. Home sweet home. Everytime i travel home i visit downtown Chisinau. Even better when events are happening downtown. National wine day, citys bday etc.

City center of Chisinau..... A garden surrounding an Orthodox Cathedral.... This Garden is beautiful in both day and night.... The Cathedral Park is one of the main highlight of Chisinau City..... Its really good to have a look around and the church is amazing.... Park is situated across the assembly..... Its Arch is miniature version of the one that are seen in Bucharest and Paris..... Architecture value is so good..... Park is clean ,neat and tidy.... Park is well maintained by the government..... Childrens park is also there... Lots of rest benches are found over here , so that everyone can sit and relax....

Spectacular area of Chisinau. The fountains a bit lacklustre but it didnt take away from the cathedrals elegance and iconic white stature. Lots of very respectful people about praying so perhaps refrain from shoving your camera around inside the church.

This park is beautiful, day or night! There are many benches and trash/recycling containers.

The highlight of the city. Hood to have a look around and the church there is amazing <3 lovved every moment in Moldova it was a great holiday !

Cathedral Park is an open area in the centre of Chisinau containing the cathedral and belltower.

Nice park across the Assembly. It has a smaller version of the Arch from Paris and Bucharest. There is a church in the middle and many benches to sit and watch life go by.

Definitely worth a walk here. Some nice history, and its a bit of a retreat from the rest of the city.

The city center of Chisinau. Around here you can find all the other things to visit in the city. A garden with the Ortodox Cathedral. A renewed place surounded with the park. Good to go during summer days to scape from the sun.

The very Central Park of the city, pretty clean, but some area near the church has been closed for more than 5 years, so it is kinda destroying the picture.

A beautiful central park, in Chisinau down town. They have a big kids area, a flower market in the nearby, lots of shops and plenty of touristic points in the nearby.
