Beautiful place. There are so many vendors in the area. You can find candy, souvenirs, and food. The cathedral itself is just breathtaking with its stained glass windows, huge pillars, and gold accented pieces.

The cathedral was gorgeous, so shiny and just beautifully detail in the art work and the lighting, the father was kind and humble, very attentive to the visitors; of course as much as possible because it was packed.

Really nice church...highly visited and recommend...did not like the fact that I want it to lit a candle but they wont allow it..they only allow you to place it in a box and then they collect it.. dont know what they do to the collection of candles and items

San Juan de Los Lagos Cathedral its unique in architecture and the area is lovely. Do not leave without buying cajeta and milk made candies.

Ive been coming here for years is just plain beautiful 😍 I recomnded the people there is just a plus! A little tip just out side of there is the best pizza ever called la casonas you wont regret it !

When I visited, the area was not busy, however there are signs that this area gets congested woth A Whole Lot Of People. Beautiful decorations inside and outside. Nice plaza outside in the front of the church. Peaceful and relaxing.

The church is under renovation at the time being. But I have been here several different times. It is one of the many beautiful churches though out Mexico.

Beautiful church, they only allow you to visit for a few minutes, maybe due to weekend and crowds. Under renovations when we arrived. The market surrounding it has everything that you could ever want or eat.

Its a gorgeous church and they do give mass or your prayers.

Ive visited the Cathedral every time I come home,, I truly enjoy the fact of thousands f people of true faith come to visit and thank our Lady at the Cathedral. Even if your faith is weak come and visit and you will leave at peace spirituality. God is and forever will be good. The business surrounding the Cathedral offer plenty of goodies and momentos and souvenirs. Point is come and visit

The church itself is stunning ! Lots of things to buy and see in the area.

Dont get me wrong, I love San Juan, but it was just too much of a frenzy. Not able to enjoy it because it was just too chaotic. Not disabled friendly at all. Treated like a heard of cows. Theres no order whats so ever. But I do love all the shops and especially the cajeta.

Beautiful place to visit. Unfortunately you cant stay in too long cause if covid-19. But you are welcome to go back as many times as desired.

Nice city, specially downtown is very busy on the day we went, the Cathedral is beautiful to visit and the vendors stalls offers so many different products. Also you can eat a delicious pork tenderloin tortas.

Even though is a beautiful place and we were able to see our lady of San Juan de los Lagos to thank for her blessings and to pray for us, I felt so sad because due to the COVID protocol we were at the Basílica just 5 minutes, after making a waiting line of 30 minutes.

Athis is such a Beautiful Cathedral. I havent seen one this up kept, loved and beautiful. There was a service going on when we went, which gave the cathedral mpre life. Over all it was an incredible experience. The people outside who sell jewelry and photos of the Virgen Guadalupe make it difficult to enjoy your time here. Over all it is a beautiful cathedral.

Absolutely gorgeous. They are renovating it at the moment. My only complaint is the city allows the vendors to set up too close to the church, you cant get a good view of the church.

It was beautiful. Went on a weekday so it wasnt too crowded. Also, its a shame that we cannot go further into the cathedral, but i understand its because of COVID guidelines. Its still the same, so many people trying to sell you candy or cheap metal bracelets/necklaces, just say no thank you and continue walking. Nevertheless, it was a wonderful experience.

Its very beautiful to see. But, keep close to many sellers get in your face to want try to get you to buy which made me feel very uncomfortable. But, ignoring them and continuing my way. The inside is neat.

It was beautiful! They do follow pretty strict covid guidelines. You have to stand 6 feet apart and then you get sprayed with alcohol before going in. You cant really walk around the cathedral but get to see the altar pretty close. There were no lines when I went.

Beautiful as always highly recommended the mini museum of La Virgen de San Juan and Pope John Paul II adults entrance is less than a dollar. Its a must go to.

First time I went to visit La Virgen de San Juan de los Lagos. I made it to 7:30 morning Mass, it was a beautiful sensation to visit her in her house. They offer blessing for your statues or rosary Monday - Friday 10 - 4 :00 p.m

Beautiful Church and a very miracle Virgen, I came over to pay my respects, my aunt made a promise and I came to visit her.

The only downside is that it gets very crowded, but its very beautiful at night. Especially when the night vendors start to set up. They sell champurrado, specialty flan and gelatin, and sweet bread. Its really amazing.

The place is so beautiful. Love coming here with the family.

This place is lovely, everything is cheap money wise. Family had fun. Every sells person and vendor are nice.

Just and impressive area to be in. There are alot of people all the time. The vendors setup really early and are there into the night. There are lots of alley ways with plenty of things to buy. There are tons of vendors selling jewelry. Hotels, restaurants, bars, illicit activity, holy activity, its all there. Its a majestic chaos. You have to stay focused but still enough relaxed to enough the moments. Pope John Paul visited in 1990 and it brings tons of people looking for a miracle or giving thanks for one.

The Basilica is a beautiful and inspirational place to visit. There is a lovely plaza and fountain in front, and the surrounding streets are filled with restaurants, cafes and shops that sell a variety of items, like sweets, clothing, sandals and religious products. It is a very nice place to visit.
