Catedral Metropolitana de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe in Tijuana

We went to mass here, its beautiful and right in the heart of the downtown area. Highly recommend.

Its a nice church its in the center of downtown tijuana its a must place to visit when you come to tijuana and in the right side of the church there is the downtown market place where you could find some good food to eat at a fair price and at the end of the market place there is a little store where you could find some good Mexican cheese just ask the counter person by the name of [ Juan ] to give you the best cheese he sells and hell give the good stuff cheese at a good price, hope this post helps.

Amazing place to go to church on Sundays alone with kids with family

Beautiful church with very distinctive architecture. Centrally located, we took an Uber here and then wandered downtown, makes for an easy dropoff and pick up point. Very close to the arch as well as many small markets and vendors.

The Cathedral is sooo BEAUTIFUL and clean and when you enter there you feel peace and calm and you just dont want to come out.

Very hygienic place very clean spotless they have covid-19 precautions before you go in, is not that crowded is clean as beautiful and it just remind me of the times I used to come here when I was a kid before I go to school I will stop and pray and get a confession believe it or not, I used to confess my sins. Lime a good catholic Believer, is in the hard if down town. a landmark you must have to visit.

This is the most important place to go when we go to Tj. Absolutely amazing, so clean orderly quiet and invite you to praise and adoration to Our Lord God, and our Lady Mother Maria.I loved to stay for awhile just to admire the architecture of this Cathedrall make me feel so proud , happy and in love to Our Lord Jesuchrist!

The proliferation of peddlers in front of the church makes the place dazzle.

I think something is wrong...the people wont leave me alone and let me be. They keep attacking me through music and other methods even Stealing etc. I keep helping the homeless willingly in the area but I am continually attacked and used and financially abused- My abuse is concealed. - USA tourist

A very lovely cathedral. I always enjoy its warmth and pleasant atmosphere.

Oh, this is a very beautiful Church, a historic landmark and a good place to pray. Went there for Sunday Mass, and the atmosphere was very inclusive. A good cantor and great music. The building is graceful, outside and inside, not overloaded with imagery. Im glad I have been here.

The priest there was very understanding and blessed our items, not a generic blessing. He pulled out a bible or prayer book and BLESSED our items and us.

This is a beautiful historic and spiritual sanctuary which is open to the public. The priest are very consecrated and devoted to our Lady. Outside you can shop for very affordable Spiritual items.

This is how they celebrate the EQUIVALENT of Halloween, however, it has deeper meaning.The event is called Celebration Remembrance of Day of The Dead. Mostly family members whom they still hold near and dear to their heart.Ironically, they do NOT give out candy like in the USA. What they do is make the effigies of their loved ones is made out of candy, bees wax, honey, sugar cane; and they leave their (familysbeing remembered Favorite foods which could be anything from fruits and vegetables to sweet breads, and drinks.It does have a cultural significance!

Its gorgeous I remember going there when I was a child and my grandparents had a house in tj the weekends it was packed with people selling tons of things. Im so glad its still there and still so gorgeous. Always a must to visit when we are there

Beautiful Church! Made an impression on me as a kid when my Grandmother would take me. It still does!

It is a nice place to pray. Beautiful old church. Has vendors of catholic items out side and a few beggars. No one is pushy. Everyone is nice. When we would see a beggar sitting outside the church I would give a coin to my 8 year old daughter, she would give it to them and they would give her a smile and a gracious. We got inside the church in time for Benediction. It was a beautiful service.

Always stop by to say a prayer when I am in the area. It’s get full for Sunday service though so get there early if you want a seat.

Architectural gift. The Craftsmans were working to restore and repair this beautiful cathedral. Hope I have the chance to see it again oh, I know I will keep it in my prayers

Went for Ash Wednesday here and the parishioners are kinda rude no respect for the priest, no orderly fashion and with disregard to the priests pleas. Beautiful church but I had a bad experience from the people whom attend Mass there they are very rude inconsiderate of your sitting place. You also have to pay for parking.

I want be honest, is no bad, but I think, the people dont help enough, is the cathedral in this city and now looks better than before is beauty but can be much better, please people of Tijuana more love and pride for your church

Beautiful large historic cathedral. Little indoor shop next door and outdoor stands on the street side offer many religious items.
