Çat Vadisi in Nigde

In summer visit early in the morning or late afternoon. There is a nice walking path to see pigeon valley but we couldn’t walk because of the heat.

Turizmde yeni yeni gelişme gösteren bir yer ama Göreme ve Ürgüp kadar güzel Çat vadisi 🙏 kesinlikle gidilip gezilmesini tavsiye ederim. Kapadokya her ilçesiyle ayrı güzel dokuya sahip.

Una esperienza che consiglio a chi ama lavventura.La natura e meravigliosa,sia per I boschi e cio che luomo ha saputo scolpire nella roccia per poter abitarci.Potrebbe essere consigliato anche a dei ragazzi di una certa ETA,ma con cautela e grande responsabilita di cio che si fa.

This is a hidden gem in Cat Turkey. I stayed in the Kalsdon Cave Suite which is 10 minutes walk to the entrances. You can see a large wall of caves from above. Walking down about 50 steps and walk about 5 minutes, you will see the stream and a caves after caves. I walked the valley for 3 hours and saw walls of caves after caves. Took so much pictures until my phone ran out of battery and decided to climb the hill to the right of the valley to get to the dirt road to get back to the Hotel. This is a hiker paradise since it is shaded and lined with tree. The valley is flat. I walked the valley in mid April and it is in the 60F with no wind. Remember to bring snacks and water since I saw no one there for 3 hours. There is a flange open area where they set up some picnic table and fire pit area for camping. I think due to Covid, not much tourist and this place is unknown to many. I did not detect any foul ordor from the stream. Must be early spring with lots of running water. For an adventurous person, this feels like being in a playground with new surprises around every corner. The more I walk, the more surprise with new cave formations. I took lots of pictures and climbed inside the caves, but pictures can not provide the real experience being there. I stayed mainly to the main path, but there are so many side canyon with more caves. Plans to come back more time to explore. This is even better than all other I saw in Gerome, underground city or Ihlara Valley. I would say this is truly a hidden gem everyone has overlooked and Youtuber have not found it yet. For the hikers out there, this is a paradise to be explore and you will not be disappointed. Cong

no tourism and really nice to have a look in to this small canyon. But not a must have.
