Friday night fish. It was very good. Staff was great.

Always saw this place and wanted to stop by but was very disappointed when we actually got the chance to. The food was good but very overpriced for what you got. I got a well done burger and fries. The burger came out rare. We thought it was a misunderstanding so took it back back inside to ask if something could be done. They refried the same partially eaten burger patty which seems very unsanitary and when it came back we cut into it to check and the middle of the the patty was still quite bloody. We didn’t say anything and just cut it up to give it to our dog. The server was extremely rude to not just us but the the surrounding tables as well. Would not recommend wasting your money and we will not be coming back.

Food was great. Our server was very nice and very attentive to anything we needed. The owner even stopped over to check on how our meal was. We will definitely be back here again.

Another amazing dinner at our favorite fine dining restaurant. Both of our dinners were absolutely delicious. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, handsome and had a great smile.

Steak Diane was delicious, Walleye was also delicious. Great service and a very pleasant server. We ate out on the patio and it was very pleasant.

Are you kidding me??? What a fabulous fantastic place we stumbled on. Our server Anthony gave us personalized service the whole time. Appetizers were scrumptious. Steaks & lobster tail beautiful. Being from Kenosha well be back every time we are in the lacrosse area. Thank you for making my 60th birthday dinner memorable!

Probably the best fish fry we have had in a while. Large salad plus 3 pieces of fish , mashed potatoes and perfect green beans. I opted for the seafood stew special which was large shrimp, crab and salmon in a chunky tomato base. Very good.

We were all set to leave because it looked like the parking lot was full but someone stopped us and said there was room in the restaurant so we stayed. So glad we did because the food was exceptional and the drinks were great too! Highly recommend!!!

Excellent food and friendly service(Anthony and Katie).The Pan fried Walleye is both fresh and delicious. Weve had the Prawns with garlic mashed(best in townand fresh sauteed vegetables several times. A family favorite.

New menu! I had the Island burger. It was delicious. Friends tried steaks. They said they were very good. Hoping they still have great fish on Fridays.

Dan the owner and his staff at both Castaways and sister restaraunt Tom Sawyers French Island Bar across the street were amazing. Rachel and Tersa very friendly and outstanding service ! Extremely accomodating and staff went out of their way to make sure the three meals we had in a two dinners and breakfast over a two day period during a recent business trip were first class!

We came to town for the steak buffet and arrived to locked doors. We searched & found this place & stopped in & found Rachel here to greet us. She is why Im inspired to do this review.. we missed three kitchen by minutes again. Yes she made it happen. We enjoyed a fabulous fish meal.. We will definitely be back in the day. Check it out. Tried Castaways for the first time and wont be returning. Drinks and food took forever to come to our table, and it was not busy with other patrons at the time. There was some mold on the orange slice garnishing my drink, and the drink itself tasted off (rancid), so I only drank 1/3 of it. Our salads came out only 2 minutes before our main course, not leaving enough time to enjoy them before the hot food came. We all had the batter fried fish, and either the batter or fry oil was not right, because it tasted like fried chicken instead of fish. In addition, the menus were single sheets of paper that had been laminated, and were quite plain and very tattered around the edges. That would be fine at a low end burger joint, but when you are asking such high prices for your food, this is not the type of menu you should be presenting to your guests.

The staff was very attentive and respectful, and the food was good. I also enjoyed the nautical ambience.

Excellent service and food/beer. I came closer to close, but Kayla and Lauren made me feel at home and welcome and did not rush me at all. I will definitely be back again the next time I am in town

Sat on deck, it had a nice view of the water. Food was good, a sandwich and fries on average is 13 dollars. You should expect to pay around 50 bucks for lunch for two adults and a child. They do have a kids menu!

Great Mahi Mahi. The inside was too cold to eat in, but they have a beautiful outdoor deck overlooking the water with a great view of the river.

Food was good, but expensive. It took forever, yet it wasnt busy at all on a Friday night. The server only came up to us once to ask if we wanted another drink, I had to go to the bar to get another around. I wont be going back.

Alright food. Great service. Decent prices. I was there during an evening in November so I unfortunately cant speak to the view.

This is a good place to go for lunch. They have a limited menu, but you can get a good burger, salmon sandwich, or a salad. Most lunch items are between $8 and $13.

Great food. If youre looking for a quiet place to go this isnt it.

Love this place, the setting is great! The burgers are awesome and the Mahi-Mahi sandwich is phenomenal. The service is great too.

Service here is excellent and the food is as good. Had lunch there last week and ordered the chicken salad but substituted grilled salmon for the chicken.It is to die for. Salmon was done perfectly and had a very mild, flavorable baste applied to it.Dont forget they are willing to substitute and the menu selection is expanding all the time.Great place for refreshments and friendly staff.
