We were on holidays in Tralee and asked where to go to eat. This was the first place we were recommended to go to.Id definitely recommend here.The food, service, wine list and ambience was 10000 percent

Went there very last minute for dinner. Had heard great reviews from friends and family. And we werent disappointed. Firstly I have to say the STAFF!!! are absolutely AMAZING. Service of food was promt no long waits between courses. Would recommend Cassidy for couples who want a romantic chilled meal. Or group who want good food, great service and fantastic location within Tralee town. Parking very near to restaurant can walk out and be near lots of good bar within few minutes walk. ****Please hit like if you enjoyed review thanksDefinitely eould return

Loved this restaurant!We had dinner at Cassidy’s about a month ago when we stayed in Ireland/Tralee.We really wanted something nicer than the average pub meal and it was exactly what we were after. Every meal was superb. Steak, lamb rack, mussels. Will definitely be back when we’re in Ireland again.

Had the scallops starter and the Monkfish Main course. Both dishes were well executed and finished it up with a Tiramisu equally as good. Waitress was very nice too

Enjoyed a pleasant dinner here. The lamb rack was a nice option. Nice atmosphere for a relaxed dinner with a small group of friends.

I heard so many good stories regarding this restaurant I decided to go here with my friends for our evening meal. I was highly disappointed as for three of us we were put into a very small corner with an equally small tableThe food was disappointing and was such a tiny portion I couldnt belive my eyes, for such a very high price point I would expect a substantial meal and I didnt get that. My alcoholic drink was served in a very hot glass with Ice and I couldnt drink it as it tasted warm. We had no room on the table for glasses etc, it was a let down to be honest and I expected so much more. Staff were nice but it wasnt enough in My opinion

Cassidys is a beautiful restaurant, Ive eaten here several times, always beautiful food. I had the pasta dish last weekend and it was absolutely divine.

Very lively atmosphere. Quick and friendly service. Nothing poche but very tasty food and well prepared. As it is a beautiful old building it has the typical cosy nooks and crannies you would expect... enjoyed it....

A classic Irish restaurant characterized by robust quality and tradition. The people serving were very attentive to safety rules to fight pandemic. It is possible to dine indoor for holder of vaccination certificates. Tables impeccable. Quick service despite the restaurant was almost full. I enjoyed the chowder, creamy, made with fish and seafood as well, some herbs and a taste of mushroom I couldnt identify for sure but it glorified the experience because matched perfectly transforming the traditional chowder in a welcomed surprise. Excellent the monkfish! Very good the dessert too, I took the chocolate and almond cake, well done, not too sweet or heavy or chunky, enjoyable and well above the standard of desserts in Ireland, from my Italian point of view. Very good choice of wines properly kept in storage and served. The final bill was less then expected for such quality.

Great food, warm ambiance and excellent service. A la Carter menu is too cheap at E24.95 for 4 courses to expect a restaurant to survive. It certainly should have been priced E10 extra and I would have no complaints.😀

I recommend the Scallops and Black pudding! They are delightful. Overall great food and great service. Very impressed with the lamb! Definite must. Especially seeming the region is known for its high quality of lamb.

Cassidys was recommended to me and Im vey glad it was. We ordered off the set menu, €25 for 3 courses.I had the brie starter which was lovely and light. Mains I had the risotto and it was delicious and had plenty of room for dessert, just perfect portion sizes. Chocolate brownie to finish.My husband had the bruschetta, the hake for mains and the apple crumble for dessert and loved every bit. The Guinness was good too by all accounts. Overall, for a good feed for a good price and great service and nice few drinks, Cassidys is a must

We visited Cassidy’s Restaurant for the first time last night and my God what a pleasant experience! From once we walked inside the door we felt the welcome and the warmth of the staff and surroundings. The food was absolutely gorgeous and the service was excellent. We felt so relaxed there and I spoke with the proprietor who is a lovely lady. As busy as the restaurant was she had time to talk and mingle with the customers! We will definitely be back!👏👏👏

We were in Cassidys last night. Both the food and the staff were incredible. We had 4 courses and each one was better than the next. Would highly recommend. What value for money will definitely be back soon.

I made a booking at Cassidy’s restaurant for myself and my boyfriend and my son for Sunday Dinner out. I had Seabass and vegetables and it was really tasty. My boyfriend had a vegetarian curry dish which he found tasty and enjoyed his meal. My son had chicken and mash potato which he found spicy. For desert my boyfriend had a lasagna ice cream dish and my son had vanilla ice cream. My boyfriend and I had Latte coffee each. The staff were very accommodating and lovely and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere.

This restaurant desperately tries to be something that it isn’t. The food was ok but I was expecting a better standard for the price. I will admit the steak was perfectly cooked but unfortunately that really was about it. The dessert was as dry as a desert and I found it quite tasteless, considering it was described as a chocolate indulgence but missed the mark as barely chocolate. The crab claws were nice but again I was left wanting more even for a starter (there was more eating in the side salad). I left still hungry and really don’t think I will be returning.

Great dinner... excellent service... love the candles.... and when standing outside we asked one of the staff if they would call a taxi.... their reply was” where you going” 5 of us said the Rose Hotel....?Geraldine gave us a ride...., incredible. Not something I have ever experienced. Irish Hospitality.... I’ll never forget it. Thanks

August 6th we enjoyed this restaurant tremendously. The bass was amazing as well as smocked chicken salad! Great place to relax! Plentiful parking by the door.

Really nice restaurant. Great food. Lovely atmosphere. However the table next to us were given the bill to the table and we were told to go down stairs and pay ourselves. Other than that great place to eat.

Great little hidden gem. The staff were so friendly and the food was superb. They were very busy when we were here so the main was a little long getting to us but it was worth the wait. Their prices are extremely affordable too.Will definitely go here again :)

We were walking around downtown Tralee probably looking a little lost and confused when a local couple asked us if they could be of any assistance. We had been looking for a place to eat but many of them hadn`t opened as of yet, and they encouraged us to look at Cassidy`s, particularly their early bird special. We decided to give it a go and were not disappointed. My wife and I each ordered the Sea Bass which was delicious. It came a side of mixed veggies, an appetizer (I went with the chowder, and my wife had the mushrooms which were both very good), desert (my wife had the cheesecake which was good, and i had the apple blackberry crisp which was excellent and tea or coffee. If I were to classify this restaurant, I would say its a place to bring your mom. Very elegant, service was attentive with fast, with tasty food all for a pretty good price. The restaurant is a little old, but well maintained, and definitely worth a recommendation.

First time visiting this restaurant and I must say it is a brilliant place to eat. We got the evening deal for 23.50€. I had mushroom for starters which were delicious. I had steak for mains which was extra but it was so worth it. It was cooked to perfection. And a selection of ice cream to end the night. Great value for top class food.

Excellent, went with ten people. had the set menu for €23.50 simply because that was the first menu we got and we didnt ask for the main menu. Plenty of choice. Our table had 4 different starters and they all were excellent. My sea base main course was delicious, half a dozen flavours and textures all complimenting each other beautifully. I read the previous review and I can say my pavlova was absolutely delicious, it was in fact perfect. The staff were great even playing a prank on one of our party for us. He was looking forward in a big way to the pavlova and we got them to tell bring the deserts to everyone else and then apologise to him that there was no more left. He did get his pavlova though and his tea. When all was done it seemed unbelievable that we could get such an excellent meal for €23.50. It wasnt simply a good meal, it was a great meal, portions not huge but delicious.
