Casey's Grill Bar - Bar & grill in Kitchener, Canada
Pasta Delicious/ Wings - not so great! Kids meals a bit pricey and the kids did not eat their food no fault of anyone but their own. Sometimes kids dont want to eat what they are served. Maybe 10% parents (๐คชfault for letting them have desert anyways! Thanks Caseys! We will come again for sure, just not for wings!๐
Staff was awesome, made suggestions for a more reasonably priced meal, and the service was spot on. The bill came quickly when we were finished our lunch.
Awesome place to go. Me and the guys were working a street over and was our first time attending. After going only once the bartender remembered our faces and drinks as well as our choice of food.Definitely recommend.
Overall 3 of 5 stars. Food wasnt terrible, onion rings & mozzarella sticks soggy. Service very slow, 30 minutes for wings and a few appetizers ๐คจ.
Headed over to Caseys to try out mr beast burger, did not disappoint great service provided as well!
Drinks were warm and service was cold. Not my idea of a place to visit if you have any other option. Funny smell as soon as you enter the front doors cant explain it. Wish I could Give 0 stars, but one os the lowest I can offer.
Pros: great fries, nicely composed Caesar saladCons: my Nashville chicken sandwich was over cooked and dry, topped with a bland bbq-like sauce. Price point was pretty expensive for quality of the main. I also find the kid meals fairly pricey at $9.
I surprised my kids with a visit to Caseys to try "Mr Beast Burger" The staff was helpful and friendly. We ate on the patio and it was a quiet beautiful evening. The food came quickly, and tasted delicious! I ordered off the menu - the staff was sure to deliver all food at the same time. Every staff member that helped us was friendly and the service was great - even my children commented on the wonderful service!!I wanted to let everyone know how great our experience was!!
Highly recommended to come here , everything has been great the past few time I have been here . Pandemic seem to have made them way better nothing but nice thing to say !! ๐
Great meal and service.....had the 12oz strip loin with a baked potato perfectly cooked.
Still one of my fav chain restaurants after all these years, great service and nice sized portions
This place is really ๐ cool . Must visit with your family or friends. Im sure you will enjoy your time there
Had a mr burger ๐ from there was decent and good price
If youโre ordering food from third party app, Pick up services for the delivery apps is too good!
So a bad experience todayThe food was gross definitely not what I expected. Definitely not coming backStaff friendly service a bit slow for no one really in the restaurantOrdered nochos and added beef was not impressed with the hamburger patty torn apart as our beef
Had a great supper and the staff was fantastic.
Great spot for a beer while watching the game! We stopped in after our own hockey game to watch the end of a playoff series. Beer was cold and well poured in clean glasses.
Restaurant was empty and took ten min before someone asked me about my take out....unfortunate.
Bad experience today the one on victoria st kitchener food cold and not what I expect they dont even know how to make a margaritas drink service today was bad never again this location
This was one of our first in-dining experiences in two years. My daughter was so excited! We ate in the patio, even though it was too cold, I was worried wed get forgotten because we were the only ones out there but our witness was super attentive throughout our entire meal. The food was good - my daughter usually eats two bites then is done but she gobbled up over half the mozzarella sticks, her whole plate of pasta and half my fries. Pricing was reasonable and portions were generous. Caseys used to be a fav of mine and Im glad I can still say it is!
Asked server what kind of vodka they have. She rolled her eyes and said "Smirnoff, what else would we have" Your foods just ok, not worth getting attitude for. Sorry Im bougey ๐
Had a chicken Thai salad. It was bland and the meat was dried out. Decor was dark and seating was stained. Not a good experience.
Ive lives close to this place and frequented often over the years but will no longer go back. The inconsistency of service and quality has been an issue the last several years and Iโm not willing to take a chance on it againTonightโs experience was such a let down. They werenโt busy at all. Maybe 8 tables in the place.I think the pandemic has certainly taken its toll and itโs days are numbered. Here is a list of my gripes from tonightโs visit1. Took over 15 minutes just to get our drinks ordered2. Ordered coffee and it was so strong it was obviously sitting for hours. Could have hidden some of the taste but they had no cream left. They never offered refills to drinks.3. Ordered nachos to share. The nachos were to have had extra cheese and beef and chicken added. We are talking about $30 nachos with these add ons. Nachos arrived cold. Hamburger was obviously a cooked burger patty that they broke up into chunks. Chicken was stringy pieces that looked old and was dried out4. The only reason I have given 2 stars is that the chicken tacos were pretty good.5. Service was so inattentive we were not given the opportunity to voice concerns.Save yourself the disappointment and some money by going elsewhere.
No spot to leave a review for Beast Burger but its made from Caseys Kitchen so I will review it. Smashburgers were actually really good, unfortunately the kitchen forgot my ketchup on my burger. Other than that, the meal was good. Unfortunately the price made it too high to return for a family of 4.
Wow, so ordered there deluxe pizza. The crust was thin, tasted stale, from frozen (pretty bad). The cheese was what they use on nachos, fajitas as well the peppers and onions (huge slicescanned mushrooms (terrible).Quite literally the worst pizza Ive ordered at any restaurant, ever, lifetime. Zero effort. Avoid at all costs its awful. Pizza at Frederick Lanes is better.
Had the Cashew Stir Fry for Valentines day Dinner. Prices were good, Food was also delicious. Only negative was the selection of food items, nothing jumped out the menu for us
Seems that with each year passing , gets worse and worse..down to 2 stars now which makes it official that I will not order from them again. Feel bad for the new owner what a journey that must have been. Destined to fail..Sad place. New owner took over just a year maybe shorter before covid. Unfortunately things didnt improve. Chicken is sometimes okay , sometimes over cooked dryer then beef jerky.. what is butter chicken doing on a grill bar menu ?(came into the menu after new owner). Servers are in their own world , hard to get their attention or order anything. My review was 4 stars but lately doesnt deserve any more then 3
Super cold inside the establishment. Drinks were sort of okay. But my chicken wrap gave me the worst diarrhoea and stomach cramps for the next 12 hours.
The service was great. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. Id give it 5 stars if it was just up to the service. The food was OK. I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap which Im sure would have been good if they didnt drown it in Buffalo sauce. It tasted like I was just drinking Buffalo sauce out of the bottle so I didnt finish it. I was also disappointed that my hot chocolate didnt come with whipped cream because most restaurants do that. My mom ordered the stacked sandwich which I got to try and it was very good! If I go back Ill order that. Id avoid the dessert menu because the apple Mary tasted like it was made with apples and wet cardboard (if the chef sees this review, please fix the granola! And the cheesecake tasted like it was low quality. Im a huge cheesecake fan but I didnt end up eating it. The strawberry sauce on the cheesecake also tasted really fake. It reminded me of the strawberry lip gloss I used to have but I wouldnt cover my food in lip gloss.
Great customer service!Accommodated a hockey team 50+ people. Service was prompt and organized!Food was great!Would go back! Strongly recommend!
My family had a terrible experience 5 years ago at this restaurant. We decided to try it again and were delightfully surprised. The food was delicious and the staff was great too
Returned on a weekend after not having been for quite some time. They are not a corporate franchise any longer, instead locally owned. We enjoyed the chicken strips, stacked sandwich and a kids pizza. The beer selection is okay but could use a few more craft selections.
My better half and I had the chicken stir fry. It was delicious and more than enough to fill both of us. We went around 7pm and it wasnt too busy. Our server was great and the food came fast.
Our kids love the huge pretzel appetizer, which is why we will often go there. However our last visit both our burgers were completely burnt to the point of being inedible. My burger was worse than my husbandโs so I asked the waitress if I could have another burger that was not burnt. My husband never complains and ate his burnt burger but was not happy about it. The waitress was great about accommodating fixing the problem, However we were there with two kids under six which doesnโt give us a big timeframe. My burger was ordered with no bun, so both the cooks and the waitress should have noticed how badly burnt it was.
Good experience. Attentive waitress, food was good. One piece of Fish& chips was a bit more $ than Kelsies but the portion size seemed to justify the difference. Overall was alright. I might give 3.5 because the waitress didnt say what wasnt available on the menu until after I had ordered it. But not a biggie.
Nothing surprising at this typical roadhouse. Typical decor, typical menu. I was there with some friends, so had a great time. Staff was very friendly and easy going. We were a large group, but they accommodated us and pushed some tables together without any fuss. It would have been nice if they had a private function room, but despite that it was ok.
I left this place with a sour taste in my mouth. The food was so blah, I expected better. The drinks were so tasteless. The service wasnt that great aswell. Our waitress refused to give us more drinks.I went there with a group of 9, took my cousins from Portugal there, expected to have a good time. But left pretty disappointed!
4 pm on a Saturday. Not busy yet somehow my salmon and vegetables still managed to be served barely warm while my soup was piping hot all on the same plate. Veggies were shriveled up like they were old. Service was good. Unfortunate about the food. Its usually better than that at this location.
Caseys has been good recently. The staff are great, always friendly and do their best to serve you in a timely manner. Decent food with reasonable prices. Normally I end up there on a Friday night with a few fellows for wings. So they know what we want usually before we order. But things changed, this evening I ordered the 3 for 20 deal as always, ordering 15 wings, suicide with extra hot sauce on the side however took it to go because I was busy catching up with someone I was there with. I get home and go to eat my meal. They only gave me 10 wings and charged me for 15 and a pop. Totalling 24-26 dollars. I think thats the last time I purchase there if this is the type of service I can expect.
We have been to other sports bars & grills in the past only to be greatly disappointment in the food and service. NOT THIS TIME! My wife an I have never eaten so well in our lives! We began with our appitizer, it was like having our own personal buffet brought to our table with such a diverse and well prepared selection of our favorite finger foods! As for our main dishes butter chicken and ribs with chicken strips we have officially gone into a food coma from such amazing food and portions. Our server Madison was so very kind and we were so impressed when we heard her speaking with the kitchen staff about our compliment we gave her about the meal. To all who work at Caseys from the servers to the cooks we are so glad to have had such a positive and enjoyable time in your establishment. We will definitely be back! Thank you!!!!
Went here for dinner with a party of 6. We had a reservation and came at a non-busy time so they gave us a table in a room to the side. It was really nice and allowed us to talk more than normal at a restaurant.I ordered a burger with mushrooms and a gluten free bun and it was very good. They even have a seperate fryer for gluten free fries. The fries were really good, crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle.
Ordered via Skip the Dishes.. The chicken was so dried out I couldnt eat it. Same with the fries. The lettuce was mostly kinda wilted also. The desert was fine and the ribs were ok, but Ive had better in the restaurant. Called the manager and was told I would get called back as they had to talk to someone else? ... no call back yesterday or today. Id never ordered from them again.
I went here for lunch with my manager after a meeting. Ive never been to a Caseyd before so I was looking forward to how their food is. I was recommend their special of the day which was a turkey sandwich and a side. It tasted really good and was surprised as to how good a sandwich could taste. The fries however did not that good. My manager was looking for a low carb options but all they could offer was a salad which was sorta disappointing that the didnt have anything else to offer. Overall I liked the food and the stay was good.
The new owners have done a fantastic job brightening up the restaurant! Such a warm and inviting atmosphere!Independently owned with great menu selection and prices, as well. Patient, friendly staff add to the pleasant dining experience. 10/10 would recommend.
Honestly a 5 star rating even surprises me. We dined here once, several years ago, and swore we would never return. We were in the area on a Monday afternoon and decided to try it again for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff are very friendly, in a family-style kind of way. We asked to be sat on the patio, which was no problem. They had a buy one get one free fish and chips special, which we took advantage of, and it was delicious. The fish was light and flakey and not overly greasy. The fries were also great, and the meal was so big that we regretted getting an appetizer, although it was great as well.Great beer selection, and reasonable prices for pints. Overall we will definitely return, and we were presently surprised by the service, quality and prices.
Ordered from Skip the Dishes and it was SO GOOD! I got the Chicken Parm and my husband chose the fried chicken sandwich. Service was pretty quick that even the fries were still warm and traveled well.
Horrible experience. Waited 10+ minutes to get seated with no one ahead of me, waited 10+ minutes for a drink.. waited 40 minutes for our food just for my order to come out wrong. When I said to the waiter it was wrong he told me all of the ingredients such as avacado was cooked inside the burger??? Also picked off a hair (which was not mineand mentioned it while the waiter was standing at our table only to have him disregard the hair and ignore me. Complained again and finally got my right order. The first waiter came to apologize and told me he DID NOT actually work for the restaurant. Just ridiculous. 40$ dinner on absolute nothing. Highly not recommended. Very over priced food.
Food is usually pretty good and the staff are really friendly...but some recent changes in ownership has led to slower services and some overcooked dishes. Hopefully they smooth out the glitches.
Arrived about 12:30 on Family Day.After having to track someone down in order to be seated I should have known things would not go well.We finally got seated, and she took our drink orders. The waitress then came back over 10 minutes later to take our order. We didnt have any communication from her ever again. Im not kidding. We waited till nearly 2:20, and we hadnt received our orders, or any information about the delay. Nobody came to refill our drinks, or even said one word to us.I left money on the table, and we left. They seemed to be extremely understaffed. There were 3 servers for the entire busy restaurant, and there wasnt even a bartender behind the bar. This is very likely the worst service I have EVER received at a restaurant. We wont be back to this location.Which is a shame because I really like Caseys Roasted Red Pepper soup, but its not worth putting up with the worst service on earth.
The food was excellent but the service was brutally slow. I took my wife and kids there on Saturday afternoon at 3. There was one server taking care of 5 or 6 tables. Took forever to get our food, drink refills were forgotten and my kids desert (a scoop of ice creamtook ages. On top of that, we waited forever for our bill and a machine to pay.Overall, simple lunch took almost two hours. It was slow the last time we went and this time wasnt any better.
