Casavanacuba in Guines

We booked at Casavana for a friends wedding, as did several friends. Unfortunately, the wedding has been postponed twice due to COVID restrictions in Cuba that prevented many of the guests from traveling to the country, us included. Casavana committed to rebooking us when the wedding was cancelled the first time, but is now pretending that their published phone number is not for the hotel and they wont respond to multiple emails to process a refund for our prepaid stay. We did not book a non-refundable rate so their thievery of of money is unwarranted and unconscionable! We understand COVID has complicated the lives of many, but stealing from your guests is not the answer. If you are capable of this type of deceit, you cant be trusted. Look elsewhere for your stay in Havana!

Excelente lugar y servicio.... Sin duda regreso y recomiendo al 100% muy cálido, limpio y perfecta ubicación.. Atención perfecta del personal sobre todo Ray es un chicho excepcional!!! Saludos y regreso pronto! 😉

Zeer goed verblijf in Havana.Het personeel is heel erg aardig en help je graag uit met tips en aanwijzingen om in Havana een goede tijd te hebben. Het hotel heeft wel een aantal gekke aanmerkingen. Het heeft bijvoorbeeld geen lobby en moet met intercom gebeld worden om naar binnen te komen. maar dit zijn kleine aanmerkingen voor de gastvrijheid die het hotel heeft te bieden

ハバナ到着して迎えに来てもらい深夜にチェックイン。ウェルカムワインを頂き、バーでカクテルを美味しく頂きました。飲みすぎて朝食までに起きれず、食べれませんでした。残念😢 また泊まりたいです。

Gute Einrichtung aber aussen typisch Kuba alt

Fantastic place to stay.You have to take a lift to tbe middle floor to hotel and given keys for security in and out if lift and your own area.Felt safe and great staff to assist in all your travel plans.Nice breakfast on terrace each day depending on weather.Rooms small but very clean and the house keeping excellent.If you speak Spanish its easier but we stillManaged to find our way.lf you like walking and beautiful walk through the treed streets to old Havanna. Local iltalian resturant within walking distance excellent food.Staff can organise an excellent day trip to the country with your own taxi driver and an English guide.We learned so much on our day out.Definitely stay here qfain.

Es encantador el lugar, excelente atención, las habitaciones son cómodas,limpias y modernas. Su atención es Excelente. La calidez humana de sus colaboradores espectacular. Lo recomiendo y les aseguro que quedarán sorprendidos.

Das Hotel wird von Privat geführt. Die Anmeldung ist im 11. Stock, es gibt kein Hinweis am Eingang. Das Hotel selber ist sauber und bietet einen sehr schönen Ausblick. Nicht alle Zimmer sind im 11. Stock, es gibt auch welche im 3. und 4. Stock. Die Preise an der Bar sind leider sehr teuer, weshalb wir sie nur wenig genutzt haben. Das Frühstück ist gut und lecker.

Highly Recommend. I did a lot of research on where to stay in Havana and this area offered a lot. Casavanacuba had the most amazing cooked to order breakfasts, which are included at no extra fee (You dont have to pay extra when booking!overlooking the water. they offer internet when available for an hour or two a day and let everyone know. The people working there have the guest best interests in mind and look out for the foreigners coming through the might be taken advantage of. There were several times we could have been ripped off by cab drivers and they kept that from happening. Our room was air-conditioned and immaculate. In short, I would absolutely stay there again. From the outside, the building doesnt look like much and its hard to tell that there is a hotel on a couple of floors up above. Cuba is rather unique like that: hidden gems all over in buildings you wouldnt normally notice.Be sure to thoroughly do your homework on Cuba before you go. There is a lot to learn about the dual money system, and if you are American oh, theres even more to learn. Dont take American money to Cuba. Exchange it ahead of time for Canadian or Euro so you dont get hit hard in fees. Due to the old infrastructure, theres almost no internet. No internet means no credit cards. So its a cash-only system. Safes are in the hotel room, btw. Its a pretty safe area and I never felt uncomfortable walking around at night, but as you would anywhere, be wary of theft.Another tip: if you can, bring things youre not using or some stuff from the dollar store to give away. The maids and people/children on the street will appreciate it. Deodorant, lip balm, fem supplies, balls for kids, toys that can hold up, body stuff like lotion or sunscreen, dolls, clothing, shoes, paper, crayons, etc. Some things are in short supply there, and thats putting it mildly. Anything given as gifts is nice.One more tip: bring hand sanitizer and small packs of tissues for walking around. There is a lack of soap and toilet paper everywhere except this hotel room, were you will get the basics only.Have fun!

Lo mejor de todo es el servicio y el trato de los chicos y chicas que trabajan ahí. Trato muy bueno y amable y te ayudan con todo.La ubicación está buena y se encuentran varios servicios en las cercanías.Las vistas de los pisos altos son preciosas.Muy recomendable

Hard to find out, tasty breakfast, easy to go to both of New and old citiesWhen I arrived there in night, so its really hard for me to find out even though I used a bus service to pick me up in the airport to this hotel. This is because you have to go to 11th for check in. The hotel is located in the building seems perfectly normal business building, which make you confused to recognize the hotel is in this building.Breakfast is totally tasty and the atmosphere is perfect.... I really want to go back to the place....The location is good for access to new city and old one by taxi.

Great service from very attentive hosts. The accommodations were very clean and the balcony was a great place to start the day with a complimentary coffee. This is the epitome of Cuban hospitality.

Hermoso hostal ubicado en la Habana nueva a 2 cuadras del malecón y al rededor de 4 kilómetros de la Habana vieja. Muy cómodo y muy bien atendido, con mucho esmero.

Accommodations where good but wish some of the magnets where just a bit more helpful. The ones that were helpful were great but a couple seemed like you were bothering them when asking questions. Otherwise the staff was friendly and accommodation where comfortable.

Nice view, nice rooms and good cleaning. The bartender is really helpful and gives you the information you need. Good service and a good breakfast as well! Also a pluss that the view is nice. Good value!

No cabe duda que tuvimos suerte de llegar a un gran hotel donde recibímos la mejor atención, el personal con una gran calidez y nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Los desayunos inolvidables , los cuartos impecables y siempre nos ayudaron para poder dirigirnos a los mejores lugares turísticos., buscando siempre nuestra comodidad y mejores precios. Sehr freundliches und immer hilfsbereites Personal, das Frühstück war jeden Morgen echt lecker und abwechslungsreich, super leckere Cocktails, zudem wurde immer gekochtes Wasser verwendet (also für Eiswürfel, etc.), es wurde jeden Tag sehr gründlich gereinigt. Diese Unterkunft ist bei einem Besuch in Havanna definitiv zu empfehlen. Die beste Unterkunft während der Kuba Reise

Esperienza bellissima, il migliore alloggio durante il mio soggiorno a Cuba. Camere pulitissime, asciugamani sempre cambiati e personale disponibilissimo, ci hanno anche consigliato cosa visitare e due locali nelle vicinanze per mangiare. Ti fanno sentire davvero a casa! Terrazza all11 piano spettacolare e colazioni buoni e abbondanti. Dimenticavo lottimo cocktail offerto al check in e sopratutto la possibilità del bar aperto h24. Consiglierei questo posto mille volte!

We stayed only for a stopover night but we would have loved to stay longer!The place is clean and well looked after, and it has beautiful views of the city (it’s in an 11th floor).The room is nice, clean and comfortable.the staff is friendly and really helpful.The breakfast you get served is quite nice (fruit, eggs and a sweet).

One of the best casas in Cuba. The rooms are very modern and clean. The staff is awsome and friendly. Would have given 5 stars but the location could be better.

room was very clean and with the best bed we have slept in with fantastic views, breakfast and staff including Yemmil, Ray, Daniel and Lisma. we cannot thank you enough we only wish it could of been longer :)

This is a great place to stay in Havana! The location is really good. Its away from the busy chaos of old Havana but easy and close to get into the city centre. Its a lovely area, safe, interesting and the casa itself has incredible views of the city! The casa is clean, lovely and has very friendly helpful staff. I stayed there with my husband and our favourite part was the big tastey breakfast everyday on the balcony with those stunning views. I also liked staying so close to the Malecon and chilling near the locals that hang out along there every night. You should definitely stay here, I highly recommend it!

If you want the casa particular experience this is not the place for you. CasavanaCuba is basically a well-managed hotel at a cheap rate. The rooms are nice and they make the bed for you. The breakfast is a bit on the expensive side, but still worth it.

It is not something to describe, but something to experience!Cuba itself is a unique experience, and staying at Casavancuba, makes it the best vacation ever!There are certainly other good guestroom rentals in La Habana, but the location, the property, the view, the owner (Marticaand her staff, the service, the amenities, the rooms, bathrooms, the breakfast and everything else, makes this one THE BEST PLACE TO STAY!!!Ive lived in Cuba for 5 years and known this place since my arrival in 2001, and all my friends and aquaintances Ive recommended this place, are surprised, impressed and super satisfied with Casavanacuba since then.No hotel in Cuba, not even the Hotel Nacional, is more comfy and relaxing as this place and Im not bragging, nor joking!By the way, the rate per night is incredably cheap, compared to hotels and other guestrooms.Make your reservation and get back to me after your vacation/stay with them to give my comment a 5☆ rating.
