Casablanca on the Ocean West Tower in Miami Beach

Do not book! They took our money and we show up the day of and they aren’t open! Sign on the door saying closed with no warning over email. Had to find a last minute hotel which was not an easy task

I never got a chance to stay. I booked right before the pandemic hit for a trip on 03/20/20. Mind you, I live in georgia. Well I then recieved an email saying I would be refunded due to the hotel being closed during those dates. But then they sent another saying that the first email was sent in error and that I would not be refunded. At this point, Im ready to go to court!

The price was good. The staff were helpful. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The light fixture in the bathroom had two bulbs out. They did offer to let us change rooms, but we were already in packed. There were plenty of towels in the room with plates and silverware in the kitchenette. They negatives, the pool was cloudy and green. The hot tub had no water in it. We were unable to use the safe, it had no batteries.

Stayed in room 904 and it was very bright with crisp clean sheets. Has a corner kitchen with full refrigerator and supplied everything needed for eating and cooking. Has a 4 person table. Nice walk-in shower. Direct view of ocean and pool. Was nice that we could adjust the air conditioning. No need for a vehicle. Free trolley will take you from North to South Beach. Only $2.25 to airport from this location by bus. Breakfast... Do NOT waste your money. A small restaurant directly across the street. Pool was clean and very big but not heated. Thank you Alex. Had a fantastic time!

Nice place

Its right on the beach. Everything you need is in walking distance. A little crowded and valet is not the nicest but overall comfort was good

Horrible service and I don’t understand how they are still in business to be honest especiallyIn a market where there are hotels everywhere. Avoid this place like the plague!!!!

Terrible check in lots of extra fees 1 hr to check in 50$ in fees on top of online check in and the $100 deposit

Service wasnt so good, breakfast was awful. I had to change my keycard almost every day, because it didnt work.

It should get zero stars!!! No hot water, rooms are moldy. Charges resort fees to have you walk a couple blooks to get breakfast and thats about it. Also charges $20 for parking and its not posted anywhere. Do yourself the favor and stay somewhere else!

The bathroom is small, the bathtub is very old. The frontdesk lady Juana who served the couple before me spent 45 minutes with them. She made my day feeling terrible. All other hotel service people are a lot nicer than her.

They have bed bugs don’t stay

The check in was horrible with the front desk lady by the named JUANA. When I asked her a question she told me I don’t know and I don’t know what to tell you. I’ll not recommend the West Tower and go to the East Tower. In the East Tower people were more pleasant with great customer service. Emilio and Ezequiel were very attentive.

Great hotel

The room clean and good enough for a one night stay but the customer service was lacking. It seemed like they didnt care one way or another about what we needed.

The worst hotel experience i ever had. Customer service is nonexistent the place is dated it has some bad odors when you walk through the place please don’t waste your money on a place where it has bad customer service

This place is not clean, building wall, doors, windows are almost broken, furniture looks like 80s. Restroom is small, a person of 180lbs can’t sit in the toilet bowl because their body will touch wall. After 5min of our Arrival in the room, the room power was gone, so we called front desk, waited 20min then the lady calls back saying they don’t have anyone to send to fix it. We also tried to call on the number provided in the email, no one picks up. You won’t get any service or help if you need like us. You are all alone. But they have a list of charge that they can charge you. It’s a very misleading post online, it’s not really a resort. It’s a room rented by a owner. It’s not managed by hotel so there’s no maintenance or service. DO NOT spoil your trip here.

Walked into the elevator after finding the pool to go back to the room and there was a worker in there and I was likeHi how are you? Nothing but a silent nod....then I asked are you going up....another silent nod.....no words and he seemed irritated that I was even speaking to him. And the lady who checked us in last night was looking at my son.....then my neice......then me........each time she looked at one of us her expression changed.......with my son it was like "animal" with my neice "trash" and me it was "piece of ***t". The hotel is dated but clean. But I will not be back due to that they wont let you park your own car which is 1 floor down from check in or drive it back up....they make you pay $30 a day for driving your car literally one floor. There should be an option for valet services not a way to gouge out more money from the guests staying at your hotel....and they have a $20 resort fee as well. So whatever price your room is you will need to add an extra $50 on top of it for the valet and resort fee.

Great view

Good experience with this hotel. The room was clean and the bay view is wonderful. Many restaurants around there and close to the beach. Had a great stay and will stay there again.

Sucked. I had a reservation and they gave my room away. Paid a pretty penny for Room and was offered a room at their sister hotel and told it was an upgrade.This new room was problems all weekend.Ruined my first trip to Miami Beach.

The hotel is in a great location where you can catch the south /north beach trolley which is free !!! The bay view is beautiful, however I expected for the price it would be a little more updated . Chairs on the patio were ripped, hot tub wasnt working the best until we complained , towels had stains , it was three of us we requested for another comforter only to be told they didnt have anymore umm what .you basically are paying for location . The upside is its always someone at the front desk

I would give 4.5 RATING because of the parking. It should be if you book a room it should be free parking or 5 dollars. Otherwise it was #1 place to be. Customer service#1. We really really enjoyed our stay. No complaints except parking. Thanks for everything!!! Good luck!!

When I arrived the linen was dirty , hair, and something else also shower was terrible.I was so disappointed:/

I spend 6 nights per month here and their new restaurant is fantastic. It’s truly affordable and the staff is always friendly. The sunset from their rooftop lounge is breath taking. Cheaper and better than the Hilton across the street where I go for Happy Hour most days..I just purchased one of their Sultan Suites as an investment

Its not that fancy but its fine for a layover near from downtown parking is a bit expensive 30$ for a night but the front desk guy was friendlyRoom view is great

unbelievable service!!!! Receptionist was amazing and patient and room is very nice. Beautiful bay view from 15th floor terrace. Would highly recommend!!!

Good Location

Nice hotel and staff. Room was clean, had pool & hot tub, and beach access through its sister location. Amazing view of the bay and Miami. Price was okay for Miami.

Everyone is rude and respectful the vallet parking missed up my truck my truck is 2 weeks old 2019 sierra gmc they left it on all night they dont know nothing i hate this place Miami is beautiful but i will never stay here again i really had a bad experience at this hotel dont recommend noone to come here ill be back Miami not here i want to stay at south beach hotels they look better

I love this place and I will stay there again when I go to Miami.

The hotel itself isnt that bad. The lobby is OK, the rooms are spacious and the view is great. Overall Id say the hotel is a 3 star hotel, with room for improvement in style and paint. Unfortunately the cleaning is very bad. We arrived to a dirty floor, and it wasnt cleaned once during our five nights stay. Not only was there a LOT of hair on the floor when we arrived, but it was also dirty to the point where your white socks would get dark brown underneath after just minutes of walking inside the room. Bed was made and towels were swapped daily.Staff was mediocre. They helped us whenever we had an issue, but never talked to us when we entered or left the lobby during our stay. We had problems with out AC (which is very noisy by the wayon two occasions. Both times the employees were able to fix it, but they never apologized for the inconvenience.Restaurants and stores are about 12 mins away by foot, but bus stops are easily accessible. Try out Normans restaurant/bar to the north if youre staying in the area. This part of Miami Beach is perfect if you want to experience Miami but prefer a slower pace than South Beach. Calm and relaxed atmosphere.Overall youll be fine staying at this hotel, but I suggest considering other hotels before deciding.NB. this hotel charges an expensive resort fee in addition to the approx. 240$ deposit.

The room was ok.. clean nice. But the view!!!!!!! Worth comming alone!!!
