Casa do Fauno in Belas
Description
Great toast, the hodromel is lovely but I enjoyed the mulled wine more! Amazing shop upstairs and lovely staff. Definitely worth the visit:)
Moregood food nice and beautiful medieval theme. Lady, young staff with a large feather in her pocket. Very very rude.
MoreNice place with mystic atmosphere... and really fun quizzes...
Very cool spot. Go now or around sunset. Turn your medieval/witch senses on.
Great food and drinks, lovely theme!
Amazing environment, delicious food and beverages. A must visit place.
A medieval themed beer café where I tasted some amazing beers, and the location is beautiful bordering the park. It has a very cosy atmosphere too, especially at night and often theres events happening like live music.
MoreSuch a cool pub with a nice medieval vibe. Once you come inside youll hear medieval songs so it pairs with the decor and the idea of the pub. They offer a big menu with lots of great options for beer and mead also.Came here with friends on my last day in Sintra, we stayed for hours just chilling and having a good time. I will definitely come back.
MoreIt is a medieval pub, the interiors are very suggestive, and on the second floor there is a beautiful shop. Many events in the weekends especially, live music with fire outside. I really recommend it.
MoreGood ambiance indoors and outdoors. Interesting choices of drinks and food. Very pleasant environment. There’s always live music
MoreWhen you go to visit Sintra do not forget taste the dragon fire in this place and enjoy the view!
MoreGreat atmosphere, lovely cosy place.Wonderful staff, especially the one lady (forgot to ask the namethat served us, was really knowledgeable about the menu. Recommended warming rum drink with cinnamon after long day of walking around and got sun burnt. Thank you
MoreExcelent service, super friendly staff, thr ambience and live music (Saturdays onlywas very enjoyable and the whole mysticism of the Sintra mountain adds to it all. Drinks were fairly priced and the mead was very good. All in all, a place to revisit, for sure.
MoreReally nice place hidden in Sintra. When you pass through the gates it seems that you are in another Era. All the ambience, employees, food/drink menu, the live music and so on, take us back to medieval times. Absolutely recommend a visit!! (PS: Mulled wine is really good!!)
MoreAmazing place with amazing staff! The place is beautiful, surrounded by nature, with a lot of good choices to eat and drink and a bonus that they have some cute cats walking around. I always visit there when Im at Sintra
MoreThis place takes you back in time. As a knight having a meal and beer awaiting battle.Great vibes with a large outside area.
MoreSimply the best place, with the best staff, best food, best drinks and an amazing view. Been going there for years and never been disappointed! Definitely a favourite and a special place to go to.
MoreOur favourite bar in Sintra. The music, the food, the ambiance! And you can even pet some cats while enjoying your time!
MoreIts a truly magical place in the magical city of Sintra. The drinks are great and so is the food, although be wary that the food menu consists mainly of grilled toasts and assorted snacks, not restaurant food. Its a place I always love revisiting
MoreGood vide. Good food and strange food like, peanut butter dried tomato olive toast and mystical teas! The place looks amazing and its in sintra! So beautiful!!
MoreSIMPLY MAGICAL AMAZING BIG OPEN MEDIEVAL SPACE WITH AMAZING INTERIOR DECORATION, MYSTICAL SHOP, THEME DRESSING AND LIVE MUSIC 💚⚡🐸
MoreNice place to hangout nice view
Beautiful view outside.Great drinks variety but didnt really go for the toasts. The Garlic bread was made with garlic powder..
MoreGreat view, nice ambience, good food and drinks
Awesome bar with a great view of the valley, reasonable prices and a cool "medieval" atmosphere. If you are in Sintra this is a must have.
MoreBeautiful place and the staff are very friendly! The music was fantastic
This medieval pub has really cool decor. The toasties were very yummy both vegan and veggie options. They have very cute cats!! Coffee could be a bit better.
MoreSecret hideaway past the maddening crowd, an easy short walk past Regaleira. Stopped here on a hike.....round back/upstairs is a fabulous spiritual bookstore with gemstones, incense, trinkets, cards....delightful. The wide open outdoor spaces are very "pandemic friendly", plenty of kitty cat love, and nature blended into the large patio make it serene. Needs some piped in music outside, though, to add more vibe. Though the general menu is a bit pricey, will try the 13 € Sunday brunch in the near future with friends.
MoreAn absolute pleasure to be here, super nice staff, friendly cats, very fair prices considering the location. And super serene views. Definitely recommend spending a couple hours here
MoreA bit expensive for because of tourist area but very charming and definitely worth a visit for a beer and some small food
MoreOne of the best bars in Sintra. You can taste the best craft beer which is produced in Sintra, delicious foods and enjoy the awesome view.
MoreJUST LIKE MEDIEVAL AGES!!!!!!Its a beautiful and comfy place to hang out with your friends... theres a medieval drink as well... Ive tried Hidromel, described as brewed like old ages... lots of fun and can give a journey waaaay back ages.
MoreBeautifull hiden gem, i trully love this place, its surrounded by an amazing garden, the food is great for an afternoon break i recomend the veggie toast(its deliciousand craft beers. The cherry on top of our visit was the waitress she was amazing she provided us the best service in Sintra so far, bubbly cheerfull girl ( i thing it was Catia but i am not sure)it was an amazing surprise.Definitely recomend this place.
MoreMedieval templars meet pagan mysticism, in an rustic setting, with stunning views, outside seating, and eerie Sintra vibes. Live music and live cats, will entertain you. Rare libations and an ominous fireplace will keep you warm. Witches and wizards all welcome alike.
MoreA magical refuge on the mountain side, a medieval pub with great atmosphere, delicious snacks and toasts, and an interesting variety of beers, mead, teas and other beverages. Check out when they have live events but bare in mind if you want a guaranteed table you should arrive earlier, for example max 8:30 for a show at 10.
MoreService couldve been better, we all had to wait a great deal while our drinks and food died at the window. But its a nice place
MoreBeautiful. Worth the walk and good selection of imported beers. As we are irish the pint of guiness was a lovely surprise and poured the right way. The staff were lovely and gave us loads of tips.
MoreA great medieval pub. I love the hidromel, and the ciders. Its not easy to get to, and the parking may be hard during the day. Not much to offer in terms of food but its tasty.
MoreGreat place. Very cozy pub in a medieval style. Friendly staff and several vegetarian toasts for a quick snack. Very reasonable priced.
MoreGreat little place tucked away beside the Quinta da Regaleira. We probably would not have found it, if we did not park farther away. When we first parked, the gates were closed. They could probably do a better job of marketing/advertising their location. Service was very friendly, spoke English (although there is little English on the inside and none on the menu). Sandwich was made fresh and was a great price. The had a fantastic selection of drinks and local beers. Music was on point. I would recommend going in the evening, when it is probably livelier. After a long day of walking the Quinta da Regaleira, this place hits the spot.
MoreI walked into this magical bar on the hill of Sintra in the year 1892, spent only one hour drinking rum and dark beers, and walked out in the year 2019. I immediately brought myself up to date on technology and the google review system so I could spread the word of the brilliant sorcery taking place here.
MoreNot gay friendly. I noticed homophobic coments and mockery from owner and some staff. To much gossip and quite judgemental in general. Not recomended due to bad management and manager.
MoreA great serene location, secluded from Sintras historic centre. Outdoors seating with scenery, often has medieval themed artists performing and is accompanied by a witchery store.Wonderfully decorated, it serves amazing toast sandwiches which you can savour with their own mead or "alchemical" teas.
MoreAmazing tavern feeling in the mountains. Sintra has a special medieval style and Casa do Fauno is even more. Since the moment you arrive you have this mystic medieval-Tolkien feeling.
MoreEnchanted place in a magical location. There is a big terrace with great views, and the interior is decorated with medieval/celtic ambience. The guys there are super nice and they make very good toasts. There is also a very good selection of drinks for the thirsty traveler and smooth celtic music for weary one. Just go, drink, relax and enjoy.
MoreAmazing place with a magical Eyre atmosphere.
Wonderful celtic pub in the middle of Sintras mountains! Great decor with peaceful and melodious celtic music. Good outside sitting area as well and a rich menu that makes you wanna try every magical drink! Staff members are nice and helpful :)
MoreThis place has a unique ambience. Medieval pub with free concerts on saturdays. Always an awesome experience, has also a mistical arts shop called Ishtar on top (conectedand a hostel. Definitly worth the visit.
MoreGreat place, great location, amazing furniture. But the staff suckz.
Great ambience inside and a cool outdoor area with a nice view. Good snacks and alternative beers make it an awesome place.
