I went here in 2016 and had a good experience than. I cant say anything of course if things have changed since than. We were not on a tour, we just went there by ourselves. After a small tour and explanation we bought some cigars for about 2 euros a piece which after all turned out to be very good quality. Of course not to be compared with the state owned fabrications, but still good quality with a fine taste.

Total tourist trap.. the tour itself lasted 3min, then straight to the shop to buy some cigars.. I have learned nothing from that tour and didnt like at all the attitude of the guide working there.Would say, avoid if you can, or just go with no expectations.Youre not obliged to buy cigars off them after all.

I went here to see a tobacco farm. The farmer offered me a tour for 5 CUC. It took about 10 minutes. Then he tried to sell me expensive low-quality cigars.Its a tourist trap. I dont recommend this place. Youd better avoid this place

We were at October there. Unfortunately at this time is not much to see in tobacco production.We bought some cigars. The quality they sold was really moderate, some had faults in color some also holes from bugs.The also sell rum, be carefully the wants to charge 20 CUC for a bottle. which cost in the rum facotry at pinar del rio 4 CUC.All over we think this is a pure rip-off.

I went there on a 1 day trip from Havana. (before that we stopped at prehistoric muralesI do recommend it. I saw there, for the first time in my life. REAL tobacco plantation, the farmer demonstrated the process of cigaro making, you could buy it - which I did - for 10 CUCs only ( a bundle of 10 which is much, much cheaper than in Havana from street sellers. These people are really nice, charming and hospitable.

Aquí puedes comprar un puro hecho en directo delante de ti y explicado paso a paso por un señor muy amable. El puro que puedes comprar es muy económico, pero la calidad del mismo no es la mejor, es más por el recuerdo.

Straight up tourist trap. I bought a cigar from them and they were trying to push me to buy a large bundle of 20 cigars. As soon as I said no they started ignoring me and giving me dirty looks. The cigar that I bought was actually pretty bad. The wrapper wouldnt light to save its life while the filler blazed away like a tinderbox. This cant even be blamed on humidity because cigars I bought at other farms had excellent burn despite being stored in the same ambient conditions.
