Live flamenco dance & guitar music performances staged in a simple theater with an intimate vibe.
The performance was great, HOWEVER, in spite of instructions that no photos be taken we were subjected to flagrant violation of that request! Full videos were taken by some as well as constant "whispering" back and forth from the front row! Really sad to see an excellent performance marred by such bad audience behavior!
WOW, was at the 7pm show tonight, they were all fantastic! All of the performers had something special in their own right. What an amazing night out thank you, you were all fantastic!
Absolutely amazing performance! The room is fairly small and the seating rows are like a theatre so everyone has a good view.
Electrifying show, the performers’ energy was incredible. I didn’t really know anything about flamenco going in and I was in awe! Don’t miss out on this, you really won’t regret going
Truly breathtaking performance - cannot recommend this experience enough, if you’re considering visiting absolutely go! Dancers, guitarist and singer utterly incredible, you won’t believe it until you see it!!
What a beautiful experience, the guitarist was fantastic as well as the dancing. The singing was also great and very strong. Considering there is no amplifiers I was impressed by the power of the voice. I suggest you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to getting there, for seating and to hear the intros. The flow of the performance was great, and I don’t want to give away the details but be smart and dont clap or try to stomp your feet along…and obviously turn your phones to silent. We have been to 2 shows in Granada and this one was my favorite. We didn’t have the dinner so I can’t speak as to how the food was, but it was a lovely show.
Impressive performance, energetic, full of emotion. Highly recommended!
Everyone in our party of four was completely amazed and delighted with the incredible passion and skill of the Casa del Arte performers: the guitarist, the singer, and the two dancers. While this was our first live flamenco performance, collectively we have been to many, many musical concerts of diverse genres, and must say last nights performance was a highlight, both musically and as a memory of time in Spain. Many thanks to Casa del Arte! Highly recommended!
Wonderful show. They played, sang and danced with so much passion!
One of the best places to get dinner in Granada!
The quality of this performance was outstanding. It lasted just over an hour, and when it was done, we all looked at each other and asked if more than 20 minutes had passed.
I’ve been coming to this place for years, and it truly never disappoints. Their standards did not change post pandemic and they still only deliver the best of the best. If you’re a tourist and want to experience raw and good quality flamenco then this is the place for you. Their performances are so good that even locals consider it a staple flamenco place. I have tried so many other shows, and nothing compares to this. Casa Del Arte Flamenco is and will always be the best.
Wow, what a show. The show had one guitarist, two dancers and a singer. The guitarist was amazing, his speed across the strings and fluidity had to be seen to be believed. The dancers, one male and one female were both very professional and gave there all. Singer had a booming voice suited to the energy of the flamenco. An hour of pure passion, loved it.
My first time seeing a flamenco show and what a truly fabulous experience. Before attending I watching some flamenco dancers in the nearby square for free and they looked impressive. I have to say however that the standard inside at the casa del arte was on a higher level of performance. The singer and guitarist were wonderful and the female dancer was amazing. I must say that the male flamenco dancer was breath taking. He reminded me of Michael Flately from Riverdance. His feet and movement were so fast and expressive. The show lasted one hour and the casa was spacious. There is no bar for a drink however I did not feel thar this was a problem. Exceeded my expectations
Amazing performance. Really enjoyed the music, the singing, the dance and the exuded emotions.
A wonderful flamenco experience! The staff was punctual and the show was beautiful, dancers could really convey emotion through flamenco and are very talented.
Absolutely incredible show! I have never been so captivated by dancers of this caliber before. Remarkable! Totally worth every penny.
We thought this might be a bit going through the motions for the tourists but it was great and we got top class performers giving a high quality show. Indeed the guitarist we saw is one of the most famous players in Granada and was very much on top of his game. It was not the cheapest show in town but we can recommend it based on our experience.
Fun cultural exposure, but I was glad it didn’t last more then an hour. My first Flamenco experience, so can’t compare to others.
A phenomenal experience!I was brought to this place by a friend who lives in Granada.I enjoyed every minute of the 1-hour show, the performers were superb, very talented, and passionate about their art.Having visited other tablaos in Sevilla, this one exceeded my expectations, highly recommended, I look forward to coming back to see more artists. After the show, we tried the menu in the Faralá restaurant, everything was exquisite, packed with flavor and beautifully crafted, a refreshing break of the classic alternatives offered around town. The staff was very welcoming and attentive without being overwhelming.A wonderful experience, without a doubt a highlight of my visit to Granada.
The performers were amazing, this place is a must see for anyone visiting Granada
What a stunning performance! All the performers put on a visibly intense, passionate and soulful show, in an intimate and cozy setting. A must visit in Granada!
Astonishing performance and well organized. Absolutely enjoyed the show. Every performer was highly professional and focused.
We visited this wonderful location in the summer of 2019 and I forgot to leave a review. I figured it’s never too late. This was HANDS DOWN the most talented group of performers I have ever seen share a stage together for a Flamenco show. Absolutely breathtaking. The guitarist made me feel things so powerful I literally had tears streaming down my face. I’ve never seen a man so connected to his guitar. He was probably one of the most sensational guitarist I’ve ever heard. The dancers were in a class of their own. The room was so full of emotion from their performance that you could almost smell the aroma of passion and history. Hard to explain unless you were there to see. I highly recommend this place. Even my kids were blown away by the show. Afterwards we went upstairs for a fabulous dinner with exceptional service, beautiful wine and food to die for. What a great night. We will visit again for sure...especially now that we have moved to Spain. Hopefully after this Covid madness they will open and get back to normal. Add this stop to your list when visiting Granada!
Best Flamenco tablao in Granada ... I am a flamenco aficionado and wanted to take my family to a show to introduce them to this fabulous art. Casa del Arte exceeded my expectations. The 4 artists were outstanding, superb guitar, cante jondo and 2 dancers (Adrian Sanchez and “La Pitita”who made my jaw fell to the floor.Good to know that the restaurant (Faralais actually one of the best in town. Not the usual tapas you would expect in a tablao but a proper gastronomic treat!
Wow! Absolutely blown away. This is not your typical tourist trap. Wonderful and intimate atmosphere. The guitarist was out of this world, and the flamenco dancers damced on an incredible rhythm. Such a beautiful experience - cannot recommend enough.
Amazing show. The artists gave us feeling and emotion during the entire performance I still have my heart beating. You can´t miss it
I felt the show was a truly unique and authentic Andalusian experience. I’m new to flamenco but the performances were utterly vibrant and I don’t believe they were diluted nor exaggerated for tourists’ tastes. The guitarist is a master. Also the meal in the restaurant was memorable - try the green salmorejo. I will recommend to others passing through Granada.
My husband and I really enjoyed the show!!! Love that it was in a small venue as it made the show more intimate and authentic. The talent from each performer was phenomenal!
An intimate, intense flamenco experience. We were blown away by the skill and passion of each artist. You can tell they love what they do and the synergy of the group is incredible. What an amazing night. Thank you!
After having dinner we attended this flamenco show it was amazing everyone from the singer, guitarist and flamenco dancer did an awesome job. Definitely go to one of the shows.
Raw flamencoWe were told about this place as a real flamenco show a traditional flamenco and wow it was a great experience to be able to feel so closely these wonderful artists.Thank you for giving us one hour to remember.
We paid €50 for a meal and the gig and I was apprehensive about the value of both but I was wrong. The meal was exquisite but if you are wanting a filling meal rather than a cordon bleu experience make sure you get the tapas on the way. The performance wa astonishing. The guitarist was apparently the best young classical guitarist in Spain and I dont doubt it. The other performers were every bit as good. My wife and teenage daughter all agreed that this was the most amazing live gig we have seen, and we are seasoned concert and festival goers. Five Stars!
Breathtaking. Transportive. Exquisite. Like an out of body experience. I have never witnessed anything like the dancing I saw here. Dont be deceived by the videos. They only let people film a tiny glimpse of what they do. I cannot even begin to express how much more and better it is. If you really want to treat yourself, follow up the show with an incredible dinner upstairs at Favala.
This was a birthday treat, however, I would recommend the Casa del Arte Flamenco Granada to anyone, from receptionist to waiting staff, chef and show performers, everything was superb and nothing was too much trouble. We had a fantastic meal to begin with upstairs in Faralá, the meal was divine, fine dining at a great price. It was our first experience of a flamenco show and it was unmissable, absolutely spellbinding, the crack of the dancers feet, the passion of the guitarist and singer was so moving. I loved every minute of it. The complete evening surpassed all our expectations, thank you for making it a memorable birthday.
The dancers are amazing and fantastic. It is a small theater. There are no drink and meal. Audience can be concentrated on performance and touched by the strong feeling they present.
Not the best but great flamenco show weve seen during our Spain trip! The dancers and the guitarist were fantastic!
Wasnt the kind of Flamenco that I expected but great performance and great dancers. We arrived only 10 minutes before the show so we got a seat really at the side. The pole blocked my sight so I couldnt really see everything going on on the stage.
Hi. My wife and I were there tonight (on holidayfrom Ireland. I know very little of flamenco and wasnt sure Id enjoy. What a surprise. The passion, the energy, the skill!! I play classical guitar so can appreciate how excellent the guitarist was. The female dancer was wonderfully intense, and the male dancers choreography was brilliant and witty. So glad I went. Perfect intimate venue without distractions. Highly recommend! Joe.
Really great experience. Great singers, dancers and guitarists. Be sure to arrive when the doors open as it packs out.
Amazing amazing performance. It felt as though I was in some sort of different world during the performance. Especially the female flamenco dancer was out of this world. Unfortunately, giving 6 stars here is not possible so I have to give 5. Would really recommend!!!!
This is a great place for first timers. I took my boyfriend for his first flamenco show and he loved it. Classic set up - cante, guitar and dancing. An hour long. Quality performances. Small stage but thats not unusual. Its a stage set up instead of tables. Worth it. Casa - maybe consider passing out the artists names.
Absolutely brilliant. This was the real thing. So talented we were enthralled all through. The dancers feet were so fast it was a whirl of amazing movement. The guitarist brought tears to my eyes. I learnt the Spanish guitar and appreciate the talent I heard and witnessed last night. I would return in a flash to see another performance when I return to Granada and will tell anyone going to Granada to book this.
In the evening we went to the Casa del Arte Flamenco for their early show performance (€16 seniors, 18 regular but if you buy your tickets online there is a €3 discount). The venue is small so everyone has close seats. The show we saw had a male and a female dancer, a guitarist and a male singer, all young. The male dancer was particularly energetic and so was sweat drenched by his finale. The two dancers only performed together briefly at the end of the one hour show. It was very good, the performance is worthy of a five star rating but it was uncomfortable since the venue was very hot and the narrow wooden seats hard, hence the four star rating. I found myself looking forward to end of the show.
Casa del Arte Flamenco is a fantastic venue for Flamenco, both catered for locals and foreign visitors. The venue is rather small but very pleasant, and can sit over 50 people. The show I went to was excellent and it was an excellent first encounter with Flamenco.
Thought the Flamenco 1hr show was fantastic. Great guitar playing, singing, and dancing. Dont fit a lot of people in the small theatre so you are very close to the performers.
A good option to see some flamenco while in Granada. Its a tiny place so there are limits to the show they can offer still they manage to pack a lot and the performers are good. On the plus side, every seat is very close, so everyone gets a front row experience.
Excellent. Intimate setting. Dancers are very confident and strong. The artists pour their heart and soul into into it. Definitely one of the highlights of visiting Granada.
Really good show. Many people are sitting in a small room but cause of that youre also very close to the dancers. You should be there at 7 pm / 8:30 pm when they let you in to get a good seat. Otherwise youll maybe sit on the stairs where the view to the stage is not that good.
I was not impressed at all. It wasnt bad, but...the four of them were amateurs. The male dancer had a good technique but that was all, sometimes I had the impression he could faint. The female dancer was trying hard without passing anything to us, the singer was a total amateur and the guitarist...he disappointed me. Many gringing notes; if you play or hear the guitar youll understand what Im talking about. If Im back to Granada, I wont visit them again.
