The house and its view is beautiful. The house is full of history and stories of its curious and interesting owner. The audio tour guide they provide though its not good, its too much information for each room. The tour guides they had years ago were much more memorable and engaging. We were very disappointed by this change, hopefully they will bring back the tourists guides instead of the audio guide. Tip: feel free to ask questions to the attendants (overseeing people they are friendly and at least the lady with who we talked knew a lot of interesting things.

The experience of being in the house where Neruda spent the last years of his life is magical. We analyze many details and objects of the place with their narration devices, which are available in Spanish, English and Portuguese. I went there about 16:10 and could only enter the house one hour later, because of the long line. Not only the interior of the house is amazing, but the view is also magnificent, the beach and the seagulls and the clear sky... It was totally worth the price.

One of the most beautiful houses of Nerudas... Full of precious thing that hes got from his trips. Quite harmoniously arrange in the house, each of the rooms in the house are prepared in a special way and has a inner meaning for him. Quite amazing. Thank you

The museum itself was stunning and very informative but I saw one older lady staff member making fun of someones weight behind their back and thought it was disgusting behaviour. I really hope that older lady that sits in the projector movie room gets fired because it put a damper on the whole experience. She should be ashamed of herself. The picture of the lady that was so rude is attached to this review.... she should be fired for her disrespectful behaviour

We had a very enjoyable wonder around Pablo Nerudas house here with included audio-guide. It really is unique and quirky! Great views from the grounds too. Free parking on the nearby streets.

The view is stunning but beware the traveler, there is a scam being had by the parking attendant we encountered and a group of young guys. Unclear if it was sex trafficking or a potential robbery. Our tire was stabbed, we were targeted in the parking lot and the attendant was definitely in on it, we overheard them all taking. We managed to get out of a very serious situation an be this was during the off season.

One of Pablo Nerudas houses. Its an impressive living memory museum. It has an audio tour, and the most fascinating things are all the different strange objects he collected. Staff is helpful. However, its a small place, groups of 10 are allowed and must take turns to move around the house. The view and surroundings are stunning.

great tour, great house. I dont understand how it actually functioned as a house, seems like for a community he had a lot of accumulated wealth and unnecessary trinkets and dedicated rooms to house them that served no other purpose. Amazing view of the pacific and really interesting palce

By far the best of the three Neruda house museums, with the oddly eclectic interests of its former occupant absolutely showcased throughout. However, suffers many of the same problems as the others in that, ultimately, all this shows is the unending depths of Nerudas narcissism, and his contempt for fellow humans despite his flowery words and extravagantly socialist politics.

ROBBED!!! DO NOT PARK ANYWHERE NEAR THE MUSEUM. We went to the museum which does not provide parking and we parked near it. By the time we got out( 30 min maybethe security guy came and told us our car got broken in. They took EVERYTHING, at least 7 bags: laptops/ clothes/ shoes/ underwear/ camera/ toiletries/ medicine. EVERYTHING!!!!!!! The police are super weak. WE had to search for buildings with video cameras. Later we were told that there robberies happen all the time. PUT A F***ING SIGN SO PEOPLE DONT PARK THERE!!!!!!!!!

Its a must see in Chile. Take your time and come. Pablo Neruda had a very interesting life which is reflected in the huge amount of object he collected. The museum is well maintained and the audioguides are super useful. If you arrive a little bit before you can go around the gardens and the beach. After you should go for an empanada close to the road.

Unmissable visit!!!The House of Pablo Neruda in Isla Negra is one of the 3 houses of the famous chilean poet, today converted into an interesting museum to visit. It has a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. In one of his poems Neruda wrote about the view of this house: "The Pacific Ocean went off the map. There was no where to put it. It was so big, messy and blue that it did not fit anywhere. Thats why they left it in front of my window."Do not miss the visit to this house, it is a big house of wonderful architecture, it has all the furniture and objects that belonged to the poet and his wife and its decoration is very special and original. Most of the objects and things that the house has had a meaning for Pablo Neruda and several of the eccentricities of the poet are reflected in them. He had an original and particular way of living and that is reflected in all his houses, made to measure and according to his creativity. The visit includes an audio guide in several languages that tell you the history of the house and its furniture and objects and the entrance costs approximately 20 dollars. In this house Nerud spent his last days. The museum has a beautiful and very rich seafood restaurant, where you can wait for the turn of your visit.Don´t miss it!!! 

Fantastic! Its the best Nerudas house to visit, among the three of them. You can really feel like what it was to be at the poets life. Lots of personal objects that helps to tell the story of Pablos life. A helpful audioguide fulfills the tour. Theres a tiny gift shop at the end of the tour

Lovely views of Isla Negra, wonderful insight into the life of one of the greatest poets of the 20th century. Nerudas final and most loved home is full of interesting objects he collected from all over the world - mastheads, shells, furniture, art. Absolute must visit if youre passing through Santiago/Valparaiso.

nobel laureate pablo nerudas house is also like a poem. small interconnected rooms with distinct feature, as if lines of a poem with the same rhythm. good collectibles. feels like that the poet keeps everything of him in the house, so that people come and look for him, but probably he himself left for unending sea waves.

Off the beaten path but appears to be a big destination for Chileans. The scenery from the house is incredible and the home is basically a collection of randomness built into a fun quirky design. The audio guides offered in multiple languages are awesome

Poet Pablo Nerudas house museum in the beach town of Isla Negra. The place its lovely: the enormous collection of art, artefacts and furniture. The view of the beach and the garden are beautiful and the restaurant in the museum offers a nice variety of delicious sea food and fish.My only dislike is that if youd like to learn about Pablo Nerudas work or his life as a politician theres nothing. So it works great for a day out at the beach, visit the house of a Nobel Prize winner and have a tasty lunch with a great view. But if you wanted to learn about his poetry or his legacy as a politician, try the library!

Remember, once you get there you have to go on waiting list and wait for your ticket(about 1 hour, weekday). Its better to come in the morning. Less people. We didnt have enough time to wait. Surrounding area is very nice to walk around!
