The best place ever in San Juan,PR.The owner cares about the guests.Clean rooms,delicious complimentary breakfast and great service overall.We will definitely come back!!!

The location is truly great, but that was the only thing I liked. Our room was so much smaller than it looked in the pictures. Our room was the first one on the left, we could hear everything from the hallway and front desk. It just did not meet our needs especially for the price. We also got no assistance with making the stay more comfortable. Customer service was pleasant but apathetic. We ended up checking out that same night and booking at a Hilton down the street for the same price.. We didn’t get any kind of refund or credit from Casa Wilson

A MUST STAY PLACE!A not too far walk from the main restaurants, stores, and beach.Staff are so welcoming and accommodating- and the owner is extremely sweet.Breakfast has 4 options to choose from on the menu and it’s complimentary! Very delicious as well.The room is relatively small but very comfortable and cool (against the heat of PR). The water pressure is low because the building is low but nothing too drastic.We stayed in the room with a garden terrace and it was gorgeous. I truly recommend staying here!(:

Appreciated the kind staff, historic architecture, beautiful tile floors, hot tub & garden, delicious breakfast, comfortable mattress, pillows & linens, easy AC & TV. Great hot tub!Public bus stops are within a mile to airport & all parts of the city. Theyre .75 or .35 for seniors so will save lots over Ubers. Neither the staff or other locals had information about buses. So it took perseverance but was worth it. Suggestions would be:To look for non-chemical alternatives to insecticides. I could smell them every time I returned & needed to open window & turn on fan.Shower curtain should be lowered to prevent so much water from getting on to floor. I doubt the rooms are actually 182 sf. That should be verified to prevent issues. The small rooms would gain space with open shelves in bathroom & armoire. All spaces inc top of armoire & under bed need to be cleaned regularly since guests will need to use it all in the small room. Sadly, mine were filthy & needed to request they be cleaned. Given the beach & heat, itd be great to have ways to hang things to dry. Replace the clothes hangers fixed to cabinet with plastic ones that can be moved to dry clothes. A clothesline outside would be great!Drapes dont close to block sun in morning. Guests need good eye masks and good ear plugs. The tree frogs are loud. Mostly quiet if nite staff directly addresses noise from other guests. When the nite person didnt, we didnt get much sleep. Dont use the little plastic eating utensils.shoeasilyche be replaced with metal utensils.

Our family of 4 loved our stay here (one room for my college boys, one room for my husband and I). You can pay for parking ($15/day off sitebut we had luck parallel parking on local side streets. As others have mentioned, the showers do take a while for hot water. The pool is actually more of a hot tub and we enjoyed evenings there winding down after a day of adventures. The breakfast was a choice of 4 entrees, simple but tasty, and the daily lattes were a treat. It took us a few days to orient to restaurants within walking distance, but we found several that we loved. The rooms are clean and beds were comfortable. Much prefer this little bungalow place to larger, less personal hotels.

This is a hidden jewel. We were so pleased with our stay. The room was perfect, and the balcony was an added bonus. The pool in the courtyard was just right for a relaxing cool down. We thought breakfast was continental, but they had a menu. Breakfast was EXCELLENT! Please, please, please try the waffles. The hotel was about three blocks from the beach and the Ashford Avenue strip. We loved everything about the Casa Wilson Inn, and we will definitely be back.

We loved our time here! Within walking distance to the beach, the perfect size pool for some relaxation, and a super yummy breakfast/ latte to get the day started! The staff was super sweet, and we loved the location (without even realizing ahead of time!).

Overall ok, but not great.Room:We booked the King w/ balcony. (Room 10The room unfortunately was pretty small, we could barely open our baggage. The bed/mattress seemed very old and pretty worn out and therefore the bed wasn’t comfy at all. On the plus side, the balcony was spacious with a nice seating area and overall it was very quite.Location:The neighbourhood seemed fine and safe, but it’s a bit far off. It’s quite a walk to the nicer beach areas for instance.Service:The staff was friendly but not very accommodating/hospitable, but helpful when approached.Breakfast with coffee or juice was included - you can choose between Toast-Sandwich, Scrambled eggs, Fruit Bowl and a Waffle. Nothing fancy but decent.

The staff was very kind and welcoming. Also the location was perfect (walking distance to beaches and central to other common attractions so our Uber rides weren’t too pricy). We also loved getting into the hot tub after a long day of site seeing! Lastly, the free breakfast was a bonus and the coffee was amazing!

Casa Wilson Inn is a small hotel a few blocks from the strip in Condado. It was clean, but extremely small rooms, no view and our room, 7, did not look like the picture on the web site. It was much less than other hotels in the area and included a delicious breakfast, so it was worthwhile for an overnite stay.

We found Casa Wilson by accident and found it to be an excellent stay in San Juan. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The location is great, on a quiet street, but close enough to walk to the beach and restaurants and surrounding neighborhoods. The hotel was clean and well-maintained with a beautiful heated salt water pool to relax in. A simple breakfast was also included. BONUS (at least to us): our balcony overlooked the neighbors beautiful cockatoos Tico, Popcorn, and Marty. Though talkative, they were a delight and we even went next door to spend time with them. We will be back to stay on our next visit for the hotel and the birds!

This place is so cute. The staff are great, especially Carla and Kidnay. The pool area is relaxing and the included breakfast is good. It’s within walking distance to the beach and a ton of eating places. It is an older building so there a few things that come with that, like the ability to hear the TVs in other rooms and smaller rooms. However, the rooms were comfortable and had the necessities. I also would have preferred an additional security lock for the room door. The overall hotel felt safe, since the entry requires a key card or being buzzed in. As a woman, I felt comfortable staying there alone and would recommend.

This place is amazing, from the cozy beds to the outdoor balcony to the delicious breakfast the following day! Location was perfect. Excellent service! So glad we chose Casa Wilson for our stay. We will definitely be back.

Stayed here for one night — great experience! Beautiful property, clean rooms, comfortable bed, and friendly staff! I highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

There were a few minor things that stuck out that made me feel as if this place was a bit overpriced. First, the rooms are pretty small (at least the one we stayed in). Not the worst thing ever, but it was tricky to find room for our luggage and belongings in a small space. The shower is small as well, and had weak water pressure. The building is 100+ years old, so take that into account while you wait 5+ minutes for the water to heat up. Our room had a shared balcony with the room next to us, and the lock on the balcony doors was very faulty and hard to get in place. On a night that we had heavy rain, we noted a leak in the ceiling over our bed. I must say however that the staff was very welcoming and accommodating, and having breakfast included was a nice perk. Very quiet and pool was very well kept. Just some things I wish Id known before booking.

If you’re considering options in the area and have any doubt about this place, erase it and book your stay! I’m on day 5 of an 11 day stay here, and I couldn’t be more delighted that I found the Casa Wilson Inn. My girlfriend joined me for a long weekend stay and felt the same way! She hated to leave!You’re only a quarter mile from the beach, and even closer to the shops, restaurants, and nightlife of San Juan. You’re within an hour of the best beaches in Puerto Rico…and Casa Wilson Inn feels like home without feeling like an American tourist hotel. It’s quaint, cozy, comfortable, and the staff is incredible.The room itself (I choose the most basicis very clean, everything works, it has a small fridge, and a desk for work space (I work on the run). The WiFi works well, and the LTE signal nearby is adequate for streaming and work needs.The breakfast in the morning is included in the rate, and it is just fantastic! The coffee is even better. This runs from 7-10, leaving plenty of time to get your morning started correctly. The area where breakfast is served is just pleasant from the visuals to the sounds of the birds and the kitchen. This may be my favorite part of this place!I am also a value traveler. The value this place provides is the absolute best of any place I’ve been this winter, and I’ve been on the road for over a month, staying in at least 10 hotels/Air BnB’s from South Texas to Key West Florida , and now Puerto Rico. Everything you need is right here, soap, shampoo, breakfast, beach towels, sun block, and a nice little pool to cool off in during the heat of the day.The staff have ALL been fantastic, attentive, friendly, and informative. Most speak both English and Spanish, which is helpful as my Spanish is very basic! My girlfriend is fluent and it was awesome to watch her interact with the staff while I try to learn more about the language. Staff is onsite 24/7, and the building is very safe and secure with locked gates and overnight security.Long story short, JUST DO IT!! Book it!! This place is a much better price than the American resorts, and there is absolutely no way the big resorts have customer service with a home feel like this place. And I’m stoked to say I still have a week left here! 😁I will be back!

This is a sweet little hotel, about 5-10 minute walk to the beach. The room was a little smaller than the picture showed, but overall a nice room. Comfy bed and nice terrace. Homemade breakfast ordered from a small menu. Would definitely stay again.

They lied about receiving my request for cancellation and charged me in full.Horrible customer service.Edit in response to owner: Expedia has said it was on the responsibility of the hotel to confirm cancellation. I’ve sat on hold dealing with customer service for hours, being lied to on both sides.I’m contesting charges, but all of this would have been avoidable if the hotel cancelled my reservation when they said they would have.Don’t believe the responses, they are just trying to save face.

A simple, clean and comfortable spot in Condado neighborhood of San Juan. The breakfast included was a big perk for us (eggs with ham/cheese, toast, fruit, coffee, juice). We also enjoyed the pool and the nice common space to sit upstairs. A very walkable location to La Placita and many other places in San Juan. We were able to leave our bags after we checked out before our departure, which was much appreciated. I especially loved the art all around the hotel by Susana Castells, so much so that I sought out a piece of my own to buy and bring home.

The hotel staff were very nice and helpful and they allowed us to leave our bags at the front desk after checkout so we could explore before we picked up our rental car. The bed was SO comfortable and the room was very clean. They provided shampoo other toiletries. The breakfast was hot and cooked upon order. Ham and eggs, fruit or waffles. All of the food was great and included in the stay. I loved everything about this hotel except the location didnt feel safe enough for two younger women to walk around after dark. We were told by both the front desk clerk and our uber driver that we were in a good area but we chose to just hang by the pool once it got dark. Lastly there is no elevator so you will need to use the stairs if you stay on the 2nd level.

Great place to store to store bags if you dont want to walk around with them. Extremely close to SJU airport. It is super quick, safe and the staff here is super friendly

I was in room 1 right by the front door however felt it was pretty quiet and other guests were understanding of the space and noise travel. Front desk were so friendly and helpful and more ing breakfast was perfect and even enjoyed my 2nd coffee back in my room. I asked as my flight is only this afternoon if I could opt for a slightly later checkout and that request was kindly approved

Very cute, peaceful hotel close to everything. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - they truly made my trip a better experience. The rooms and communal spaces are very clean. For this price range, nothing could be better!

Took my kid for her 21st birthday for a long weekend. Walking distance to good food and night life. Staff was friendly. Beach was a 10 min. walk. Only thing I didnt like was all the ants. In my bed, night stands, walls, bathroom.

The inn is in a great location, very walkable to restaurants and the beach access. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was a little noisy as it was between the pool area and the outdoor dining area, but I personally didn’t find it too annoying as I’m an early riser anyways. Would love to stay here again!

Parking was a bit hard to find but its because the directions aren’t clear. PARKING LOCATION DIRECTIONS: make a left onto Avenida Avenue (where the Starbucks and Marriott are). It is a one way street going left. Get on the left and you will see Di Zucchero, the parking is literally right next to it, its called Condado Village. It’s a bit of a walk to the hotel from there but not bad at all. The same walk you would do to get to all of the restaurants and bars. I recommend checking in, dropping your bags off, then go do the parking. You can even explore the bars and shops after the parking so that you don’t have to make the same walk twice. As for the hotel itself it was super cute and cozy. I wouldn’t recommend it for kids just because the pool is small. But it will be fine for kids if you just use it to sleep and shower. It is super clean and the staff is friendly. During the free breakfast the owner stopped by each table to greet us and ask if everything was good. He helped my boyfriend and I decide what we wanted to do for the day. He recommended a beautiful river that we had a fun time at. It was my first time staying at a quaint hotel like this and I would stay there again!

Our stay at the Casa Wilson Guest House was perfect. The morning breakfast was great and the pool area was good for relaxing. It is a short walk to the beach and a number of restaurants/shops. The service was EXCEPTIONAL.

Our stay at Casa Wilson Inn was wonderful! Many hotels in the area were overcrowded and overpriced, so we were very pleased to find the opposite at Casa Wilson.We loved the fact that breakfast was included each morning as this is very hard to find among hotels in San Juan. Our bed was extremely comfortable and our room was very clean. The staff are all so welcoming and know a lot about the area and offer recommendations on restaurants and attractions.The hotel grounds are kept well. We felt incredibly safe and would definitely return again. I would choose Casa Wilson again! We highly recommend staying at this wonderful hotel!

On our first visit to Puerto Rico, we had no clue where to stay. I had read Condado was the area where all the restaurants and shops were, but I wasn’t comfortable paying the high tariffs on the main drag. Casa wilson checked all the boxes: good location, quiet, safe and within walking distance to the hip and trendy restaurants.Casa wilson is an elegant old refurbished hotel. The security system is easy to use and the front desk is open 24/7. Everyone working at casa wilson is friendly and helpful; helping with ubers, restaurants and private tours were arranged.We like a king size bed and we were able to get a king bed for 3 nights and the other two we had a smaller bed. All the beds and linens were equally comfortable and rooms decorated in a timeless style with beautiful oil paintings by a local artist.There are plenty of common areas for playing scrabble and a nice patio for the delicious cooked to order breakfasts. Also a small pool for a cooling dip.If you want to stay at a place that feels like home, and feel like your new best friends with the family that runs this place, then this is the place to stay. Great location, quiet, safe, warm and wonderful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, all at a fantastic price point, this is the place to stay!

Great experience staying with Sam and the staff working at the casa Wilson Inn !! The location is fantastic, just off of the main road in Condado! It’s approx 1 hour walking to old San Juan, we did it once but rest of the time we got an Uber. Everyone very friendly!! The Inn is also very close to another area (La placitawhich is very good for less expensive but still really good food and cocktails. Felt very safe all the time we spent there. The pool is also a highlight of our stay and the breakfast was lovely too. Sam was great at giving us advise on what to do and experience on the island. Definitely recommended and we will definitely stay there again if we are going back to PR.

Lovely place to stay. We went with high expectations after looking at the positive reviews, well it was beyond the expectations.It was nicely maintained. Great rooms, safe , clean and cozy with a big wall mounted tv.Best part was the home made breakfast(made as per your taste upon request). Staff was amicable and always addressed the requests(A safe place for Car parking near by). A cute pool was beautiful. Its a fantastic place with limited rooms and I would stay here again for sure..

Everything is great except it is SO LOUD; I usually stay at hostels and they’re so much quieter; walls are very thin so we hear all conversations, alarm clocks, etc; people slam doors at any hour of the night, play music or talk loud way past midnight; the entrance door also has a “bell” that’s pretty loud; everything is just so loud, unfortunately. But this is a house, it wasn’t built to accommodate hotel rooms so that makes sense. It’s a shame because all the rest is really great.

Very wonderful colonial interior design. A nice small pool located on the premises. This place is truly amazing! We felt safe at night and the staff was very helpful. The location is in Condado. We walked to La Placita, plenty of bars, restaurants, coffee shops and convenience stores around that area.

Beautiful building all remodeled. Good location. Reasonable rates. City style parking in the streets,very safe. The hot water comes in slow but it does gets hot. Just give it time! Cleanliness 100%. Staff is friendly and attentive. We will make this a 1st choice in any future trip to the island.

Lovely room, great AC and loved the ceiling fan. There was fruit, coffee, bread, bagels, juice and cereal for breakfast. Extremely friendly. Great pool. Great care was taken with the decor and customer service. Great experience.

Fabulous place - we absolutely love it here! Truly made to feel like home. Its our second time and Id give it 6 stars if I could. Rooms, bathrooms, showers, amenities, entertainment systems, breakfast, plunge pool, architecture are all first class. Its a true boutique hotel and could easily be profiled in Conde Naste or Dwell magazine, for its style. Gretchen was one of the most gracious hosts weve ever had and my wife and I have travelled alot. This is a great spot.

great customer service!! the pool area is a lot bigger than it looks in pictures. the only bad thing about the hotel is that the walls are very thin so you hear everything that’s going on outside. overall, a great place to stay because its close to local bars, clubs, beach, & restaurants.

Casa Wilson made my first trip to PR one that I will always remember. Omar and Sammy were very kind and attentive throughout my stay. I enjoyed every single one of the activities Sammy suggested including the best food in Piñones! It was so easy to walk and Uber given the hotel’s central location in San Juan. From the moment I walked in, Omar was promptly ready to check me in and walk me through a tour of the beautiful facilities, including a jacuzzi in the patio and a terrace for lounging upstairs. The hotel has top-notch amenities with thoughtful and friendly housekeeping staff. The breakfast was always a great start to the day with delicious cafecito! The lobby was beautiful with every detail thought out for a comfortable stay. The family-run space made me feel at home and given that it was a solo trip, this meant a lot to me. Needless to say, every staff member I spoke to was friendly, supportive, and always ready to ensure guests feel at home. Thank you Sammy and Omar for being such thoughtful managers! I would recommend to individuals, groups and families looking for a remarkable stay while supporting the local economy. Looking forward to recommending to my own family, friends, and alumni networks.

The hotel is beautiful ,staff is very helpful, the location is amazing...its truly a hidden gem in the heart of Condado. The pool at night lights up and its very nice. I definitely recommend this hotel. It a quiet hotel. Rooms are very nice and clean as well. TVs are connected to netflix hulu and etc.

This place is amazing, 3 blocks from the beach, and from the center of Condado. And 10 mins away from Old San Juan and San Juan. 7 mins away from the airport. The area is supper relaxed and quiet. They have a cute pool in the morning and at night it’s a jaccuzi. The rooms is so cute, supper clean. And breakfast is so good! Me, Samuel and Omar and their family out done themselves with this place! Me and my husband will be back and soon, because we didn’t want to leave.
