507 Española Way, Miami Beach, FL 33139, United States, Miami Beach
Set in the funky Española Way neighborhood, this quaint hotel fronted by palm trees is an 8-minute walk from shopping and nightlife on Lincoln Road, and 1 mile from Miami Beach Botanical Garden. The streamlined rooms come with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs, plus minifridges, microwaves and wet bars. Suites provide kitchens and dining areas.Freebies include continental breakfast and loaner bikes. There are iPads available for limited use.
I wish I could give it fives but there were a few things. No alarm clock and the floor in my room clearly had not been swept or mopped. I cant stand crumbs on feet.
Staff was great, from front desk to valet. Price very reasonable taking Miami into account. The actual building unfortunately has paper thin walls, I could hear my neighbor snoring... yes. Only two pillows total provided too.
This is a great hotel to stay! Super convenient and nice location, just a few minutes away from the ocean beach. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need. Delicious coffee in the rooms and you can always take water and towels in the lobby. Friendly stuff. I would highly recommend this place as well as the French A La Folie Cafe right next to the hotel.
I wanted to share what a gem this little boutique hotel is. From the hospitality of the front desk staff (Aida, Wallace, and Rachel, and another beautiful young lady in the evening who checked us into the valet outside of the hotel, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are so artsy and pretty, and so many wonderful cafes outside of the hotel in a beautifully lit outside area. Im definitely returning and hopefully soon.
I had been here before and came back again. Location is great. Close to the restaurants of Española Way. Watling distance from the beach.
Very nice hotel and service 👌👍😀, great location .Definitely recommended to stay. ALENA, Gene.02/29/2021
Beautiful Hotel! I loved every aspect of it. I was able to upgrade to suit and the room was clean and well managed. The cleaning service was outstanding and the receptionist was knowledgeable, funny and kind. I am so thankful I found this hidden jewel. I would definitely stay here again. ❤️
My Wife booked a 3 night stay expecting it to be a quiet getaway near restaurants and other entertainment. It was our anniversary so we wanted to get away a while . She booked directly on the hotels site. When we arrived the area looked perfect and walking up to the hotel it looked like just what we were looking for. When we got to the entrance we found the place was closed for remodel . The website mentioned nothing about this. There was a small sign stating that guests that booked there would be accommodated at another of there properties. There was a number to call for any questions . I called and after a phone bank it went to a voicemail . By the way my call was never returned. The property that they transferred us to was in South Beach the road in front of the hotel was blocked off because of an event of some type. I specifically didn’t want to be in South beach because my party days are long over and we both wanted a nice quiet getaway. We choose to give it a try and it was a mistake. Of course we were right by the elevator. When we got back to our hotel that Evening the party was in full swing. I might as well have been in our room. Between the people yelling and cussing as they came off the elevator and the club music until 5 am we were over it. We are leaving here as soon as the sun is up and likely going to have to forfeit the money laid out on the next 2 nights. So thanks a lot for the classic bait and switch. I may as well have stayed home and lit my money on fire to watch it burn.
Very well located hotel with fantastic service! Special thanks to Nora for doing such a great job at the lobby!
Grateful to have found a nice friendly place for my bday getaway...its clean and quiet👏😎
Cute out of the way at the end of the super Eurocharming Española way. Close to the bustle and fun of all the restaurants and far enough away from the noise. Which is good because there is no restaurant in the hostel-like hotel. Odd design: Tiny (ridiculously tiny and almost uselessclosets, ultra modern bath sink with too short faucets so always spilling water out. Bathroom fan an assault on the ears. Odd service: A. installed curtains in my room during a day I was out working. Not just on the windows but floor to ceiling along 2 whole walls of the room even covering artwork. ???. It was a bizarre unannounced change mid-stay and completely obliterated the charming character that had not been designed out already. B. Valet is with the street association not the hotel and they do not usually work overnight between 11 pm and 8 am. GOOD service: They rely on sister property hotel Victor for maintenance so when my smoke alarm would not stop chirping indicating a dying battery, the kind front desk clerk came and helped take it down so I could get to sleep. Very nice and friendly front desk staff.
The hotel was close to ocean drive and the price was right but the TV was glitchy and there was no insulation to the hallway so we were woken up all night by people in the hallways and by cleaning staff talking to each other loudly at 6am. For the money and the location its a good deal but sound proofing and a working TV are pretty basic amenities I expect even at the cheapest hotel.
Beautiful and so clean. Not to far from the beach. Feels like youre in France a little. The staff is very nice and welcoming. Love the free bikes you can use. Will definitely stay again!
Amazingly helpful staff: Enrique, the handyman for his immediate willingness to help fix minor things in the room; and Nora, Joselaine and Gustavo for being so friendly and very welcoming at the front desk. We had a really wonderful stay. The location is about five minutes walk from the beach and 1 minute from about five restaurants(!). If you hire a car, you can park it in thegarage on 16th street between Washington and Collins (RHSfor $20 per day which is also 5 minutes walk from the hotel. There are plenty of parking lots which are cheaper ($10/daybut they are in the open and I thought therefore less protected. Have a great holiday and do visit Shark Valley visitor centre (1 hr drive and take the guided tram tour; we saw a mother alligator with two 5" babies right by the roadside! But you do pay $30 to the National Parks Authority to get into the park as well as the tram charge. Note that US restaurants appear all to add 18% tip and also 9% sales tax, so you pay ~30% more than the menu prices.
Beautiful and clean boutique hotel. There isn’t a pool but you have access to two rooftop pools on Ocean drive. The hotel is steps away from the beaches and ocean drive. This hotel is in the Art Deco neighborhood of Miami Beach. There is the Art Deco Market a couple blocks away where you can buy small groceries as each room has a coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge. The lobby has complimentary water, coffee, tea, fruit and small pastries at all hours available for you. There is also complimentary beach towels, beach chairs and bicycles to use. There is also an open patio next to the lobby where you can read or enjoy your complimentary pastries and coffee. The hotel is also close to many cafes and restaurants as well as a shopping area within walking distance. There is a stand up shower and full size shampoo and conditioner bottles in the washroom. There’s also a desk in each room if you need to do some work and complimentary WIFi and a flat 50 inch TV mounted on the wall.
Great rooms . Great location. The pool is in a different hotel.
We enjoyed our stay here. Quiet area yet super close to restaurants and the beach. Even though the hotel doesn’t have a pool, you can go to 2 different hotels on Ocean Drive with rooftop pools for free. The staff was very nice. Especially the lady, Chantel on the front desk is awesome!!! She is very friendly and helpful!!We felt welcomed and really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely come back!!
Great location. It is at walking distance from the beach. Bicycles and beach chairs available. Very comfortable.
I enjoy my stay there .The room was very clean and the staff so nice. I look forward to stay there again in the future .
Great Hotel. YOu can use the pool area of hotel Victor which is actually on ocean drive. The Hotel gives you free rental bikes (2h), free beach towels and beach chairs. Everything was clean and tidy. Only the little kitchen could have some plates or other stuff. Very kind staff. Free snacks and coffee all day long.
Very spacious, modern apartment style accommodation for a reasonable price in the heart of Miami.
Charlene, Nora and Angelo are the most friendly and helpful receptionists ever. We were very pleased with our stay.
Location was great, staff was very friendly. Our room was clean. It was a great deal for the money.
I had a great experience. The staff was awesome and the location is close to lots of restaurants and night life.
Beautiful place. Great location. Adjacent to an amazing entertainment street yet calm enough one in your room. Superbly Floridian, spacious clean and well daylight-lit rooms. Be careful which room you choose or youll be stuck with painfully slow internet. They have free coffee and guess what? Free bicycles!!!!
Very nice hotel, Spanish design. Rooms equipped with a small kitchenette. No coffee though nor plates. Otherwise, I really recommend this place for solos and couples
5 starts for location and cleanliness.0 starts for: receptionist (called Kiki, who has zero knowledge of what customer service means), “breakfast included” meant coffee and pastries, and very noisy rooms.
Normally this place has the best price for a room I can find in South Beach, it has almost never failed in that light. The rooms are always clean and kept cool. The staff are always friendly and give great recommendations of places to go in the area. No parking is included with this hotel so be prepared to Shell out a few bucks to park somewhere close, there are plenty of lots and garages in the area. The hotel location is in the heart of Espanola Way, stear clear of walking down this street if you can as the hostests from each restaurant on the street will hound the hell out of you. They also have a sister hotel that is a few miles away right on the beach that has a pool you get access to because you are staying with them. If you are heading to the beach anyhow, try to find a nice spot near the sister hotel so you can take a dip in the pool after if you want. All in all each stay at this hotel has been a pleasure and I will most likely always stay here when visiting South Beach.
Fantastic hotel, great customer service and really good last minute prices on rooms. Very clean and organized.
Overall, for the amount we paid, it was definitely below our expectations. The staff was as expected, but as we were there, they were seen arguing and we generally unprofessional. Also, dont expect a fantastic breakfast, the milk was so sour it was unbearable. Also, the cleaning lady was very far on the strange side... We went up the elevator, and when the door opened, when just stood there until I said excuse me, then she finally moved a little so we could leave the elevator. There were also quite the number of abnormalities with the room, the sink wouldnt drain, balcony door wouldnt close, sjower soaps wouldnt dispense well, etc. All in all, its worth no more that $200 a night, and if the going rate is more than that, stay away or you will be very disappointed
It is a good place, with great location, very close to a lot of restaurants and the beach. Also the hotel offers bikes to enjoy the city!
The hotel is a disaster: it has no seats in the room, no indirect lights (only the ones on the ceiling, which make the place look like an interrogation room), it is extremely loud since 8am, and the room service is non existent. Not to speak about what they call “breakfast”, which consists of a toast, period. This “hotel” should be a “bread and breakfast” and charge accordingly. Other customers were complaining too. Don’t expect an AC hotel.
Great location. The room was clean and nice looking but the walls are thin so u can hear everything.
Getting pretty tired but nice staff and great location in south beach. At this price point you’d get 5 star in some cities but Miami gets you borderline 2.
The location is amazing. The rooms are big but have very thin walls. We could hear people talking in the other room. Wifi is not very good.
Good location and big rooms. Unfortunately the rooms are very noisy! :(
Zero parking, no pool or gym, and very thin walls. Valet is $30 a night. It is in a good location though and very friendly front desk staff
GO FOR IT.....great location, great rooms and good service.....breakfast not impressive but overall a good pick.
What an amazing gem hidden away from the busy streets but so close and convenient to cafes. Located just a cross the walking street that becomes alive at night with ample of choices for food from Spanish Paella, Brazillion, Italian, Mexican and Cuban food. Hotel was clean and beautiful but Angelo was the best front desk with excellent customer service skills
Awesome location right in espanola way. The room was spacious and the people in the front desk were very friendly
Excellent location, and room came with fridge and microwave. Room layout was a bit odd, and view non-existent.
Hotel is in a quiet area but still 5 minutes away from ocean drive and the beach. Good rooms too
Great boutique hotel..offering free bikes, wide rooms and good free wifi..nice place to stay on budget
I love this hotel because you can have ALL a block from your room!
Nice hotel in Miami Beach. You are able to walk to the beach and surrounding locations. Safe, cozy Hotel perfect for overnight.
Great hotel in Miami Beach. You can reach everything on foot from there. Nice rooms. However, the breakfast was not so good. Only toast bread and a few other things.
Great location, accessible to lots of activities while still being a quiet place. Friendly and accommodating staff, cheaper valet than most of the surrounding hotels (since self parking is not an option). Clean room, comfy bed. Everything was good.
Great clean rooms. Close to restaurants on Español Way, shopping and beach.
Location: walking distance to everything. Bikes available, included in your resort fee. Major restaurant/bar action less than a block away. Interesting watering holes within 5 min walk: Havana 1957 & Repour.Price: I paid $150 on HT, which didnt include the resort fee or taxes.Fitness: gym at sister Hotel Victor was fairly decent. I was able to get most of what I need done. Most of the time its not busy before 10 am.Airport/transportation: bus #150 runs on Washington and takes you from/to the airport. Fare is $2.65, as of April 2016. Takes about the same amount of time as SuperShuttle but one eighth of the cost. Save your mula and blow it on booze.Room comfort: room was spacious and clean. Big bed and nice TV. That being said,• windows have seen better days• thin walls so you can hear what your neighbors are doing• as other reviewers have noted, floors have tiles, not carpeted. Ask for top floor if you dont like people walking over your head or dragging chairs around. I stayed in room #305, a corner unit.• TV was set on the side wall so its at an angle. Probably use satellite so the image was rather grainy.• in some rooms, AC blew air directly to the opposing wall, where the headboard was. I got a running nose from all that cold air when I was sleeping.Lastly, the free breakfast was rather thin, leaves more to be desired. The hard boil eggs were slightly under.Overall, a pleasant stay, despite if a few hiccups.
Pros: Great location (quiet area but right by the beach and Lincoln Rd), really spacious rooms, nice and homey decor, friendly staff!Cons: walls and ceilings not so soundproof, no bathtub, bathroom lighting is quite dark (but a brighter bulb should fix the problem!)
