Cannot say enough good things about Casa Sol B&B. Wonderful, kindly, helpful hosts. Delicious breakfasts. Lovely rooms. Very handy location for an Old San Juan visit. Especially appreciate the thoughtful environmentally sensitive ethic of the B&B.

This is by far the best B&B experience I have ever had. The room was gorgeous and spotless clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was wonderful with an eco-friendly invitation/challenge to limit showers to 5 minutes so we don’t waste water and help take care our planet. This environmental awareness extends to their solar panels in Casa Sol. The breakfast is to die for, different and delicious every morning, featuring tons of local fruits. The location is perfect to visit Old San Juan and/or the metropolitan area. Communication was always fast and helpful. And most of all, Tisha and Eddie are wonderful human beings, generous and kind. This is the place to stay if you are visiting San Juan!

Casa Sol Bed and Breakfast was a wonderful experience and great location. In the heart of Old San Juan close to many restaurants and Attractions. The owner and his family are very welcoming and top tier in hospitality. The rooms are extremely clean and I love the high ceilings. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality stay and accommodations!

We (2 families with 3 kidsarrived at Casa Sol after an extended Caribbean trip to spend a few days relaxing, eating and strolling around the streets of Old San Juan. Casa Sol did not disappoint. Its in a wonderful location that is a short stroll to numerous tasty restaurants (extra important with ~10-year-old kiddosand lots of cultural spots without being on the main drag. The building of Casa Sol is very well constructed (ask about the original renovationand we slept soundly with little city or street noise.The rooms were generously sized and extremely comfortable for our group. We booked 3 rooms to give us space to spread out and enjoyed the feeling of having the place to ourselves (out of 5 rooms total in the B&B).Tisha and Eddie were lovely hosts. Eddie does the majority of the breakfast preparations and Tisha was our navigator for planning our daily strolls.

100% highly recommended for anyone who wants to stay in the old San Juan! We are soooo happy we stayed here!!! The b&b has a lot of characters with beautiful bright colors and plants, perfect location with good restaurants, the Castillo, and the ocean a few steps away but also quiet at night, clean room with a great shower. Most importantly, Eddie and Tisha are wonderful hosts; they are warm-hearted and helped us navigate through the old town, prepared the BEST breakfast we could imagine (baked eggs, French toasts, mango juice, fresh coffee, fruits, you name it!). The room we rented was very clean and comfortable. The home-made breakfast in the mornings is 5 stars, Its so healthy and delicious. The location is in a quiet spot so you wont have problems sleeping. We love this place they make you feel like youre at home. We will definitely book here again when we come back to Puerto Rico.

I am so glad I picked Casa Sol for my stay in Old San Juan! The place is so cute with a relaxing courtyard where we would read and hang out in. The location is perfect for walking around Old San Juan. Breakfast is delicious and beautiful! It felt like staying with family and friends. Tisha and Eddie have created a great place! I would recommend this place and come stay again!

I cannot say enough good things about this place! The owner (Eddiewas very kind and took every chance to make us feel at home. The location of the AirBnb is perfect for exploring old San Juan. The rooms were perfect and had everything you could need. The breakfast (8:30 - 9:30they served were AMAZING! We will be dreaming of the fresh fruit for a long time. We will be recommending this place to everyone we know! If you are staying San Juan, you HAVE to stay here.

Great location. Close in but still on a quiet street. We tried all the restaurants they recommended and they were excellent. I love the character of our room too.

To say that the owners made me feel like part of the family is probably an understatement…From the hospitality to the delicious to the comfortable beds to the absolutely delicious breakfast (and EVERYTHING in between- there simply isn’t a better place to stay in Old San Juan, you’ll love your stay.I’ll definitely be coming back!!!

La Casa del Sol is a wonderful place to stay in Old San Juan. First of all, Casa del Sol has wheelchair access. The room also provides a bathroom that accommodates the need of the handicapped person.Each room is named after a point of interest of Old San Juan. Examples are La Perla, and La Muralla. The rooms are impeccable clean. One of the rooms, La Muralla, have a capacity for a family of four.There are hand sanitizers in the entrance, the rooms, and the patio.Besides being extremely clean, Tisha is an excellent host. She gives a personal touch to Casa del Sol. She is hands on in every detail and need of the guests. She provides a superb breakfast. The generous breakfast consists of coffee, juices, fruits, sandwiches, eggs pastries etc. according the menu of the day.The location is very strategic. It is close to San Cristobal, el Morro and restaurants and bars. Everything is a walking distance. Really a great place to vacation.

This was our stay for the first leg of our Puerto Rico trip. The owners were super friendly and knowledgeable. They helped us get around Old San Juan, recommended restaurants, and prepared wonderful breakfasts each morning. The location ended up being great because its easy to walk from here to both Castillo San Felipe del Morro and Castillo San Cristóbal. You also have easy access to the surrounding town, so you can walk anywhere you want. We really enjoyed our time here.

Eddie and Tisha are very warm and welcoming hosts. They catered to our vegetarian (no meat, eggsdiet and we were served amazing local breakfast which was different everyday.Rooms are pretty clean and great location to experience the old city as a localite.

Staying at Casa Sol made us feel like we were locals living in the old town. The bed and breakfast was clean, beautiful and comfortable. Location was amazing. The complementary gourmet breakfast in the morning kick starts your day just right. Tisha and Eddie were wonderful with accommodating my special request to do something special for my friend’s bday.

This amazing BnB located in Old San Juan is a definite must when visiting San Juan. The hosts, Eddie and Tisha are warm and welcoming. They have great recommendations for local spots for food and activities. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to stay in two of the rooms on the property. They both were amazing.

Came here after watching a documentary with zac Efron . I will definitely stay here when I visit Puerto Rico :)

My husband and I stayed one night at Casa Sol in March on our first trip to San Juan. It was absolutely fantastic! Eddie and Tisha have created a beautiful place in the heart of Old San Juan. We were met at the door by Eddie and he gave us all the information we needed to make the most of our stay as well as an overview of the history of Puerto Rico which we found very helpful. All of the recommendations he gave (where to eat dinner, what to visit, etcwere A+. Breakfast was clearly local ingredients where possible and so delicious. The location was great - walking distance to everything we visited. Their website is also well-representative of the location and their mission. Communication before and during the visit was prompt and clear. Would strongly recommend!!

Great location in old town San Juan. Can easily walk to all sites in old San Juan as well as restaurants and nightlife. Given this is a US state and local currency is $US, old town is not an inexpensive locale for Aussies. What you pay $A40 in Bali will set you back $US200 plus in old San Juan for a B&B. Australian visitors will have to adjust their expectations considerably! Tisha and Eddie are gracious hosts. Rooms are very clean.

Very beautiful, quite, well cared for b&b. Eddie set up all our transportation needs so we had no worries. Met us when we arrived. Showed us around the place. Gave us a delicious fruit popsicle and wrote down on a map places to see and eat at! Breakfast with french toast, bacon, incredible coffee was worth the entire stay! Room was comfortable and clean. You wont be disappointed!

We spent three nights at Casa Sol and had a wonderful time. I particularly liked the sunny, leafy, and tastefully decorated courtyard, where breakfast is served. Very calming and soothing. The host couple, Eddie and Tisha, were very friendly and down-to-earth. We had to leave early one morning (by 7:30for a tour. Eddie (?rose early to prepare sandwiches and other goodies for us to take on our trip. We learned later from Eddies mom, who is also extremely friendly, that Casa Sol was the very first B&B in PR and Eddie and Tisha were assisting others with opening and running B&Bs and helping establishing standards. Well done!

Tucked just off of the main road in Old town San Juan, Casa Sol is a peaceful oasis. We opted to have them arrange our transport from the airport and arrived late afternoon. We were greeted at the gate and and escorted to our room which is off of the central courtyard. The room was well appointed, blessedly cool with a lovely private bath. We were given a map and some suggestions for where to have dinner. We walked for several hours and had dinner on the other side of town. Even though we got back after dark, we felt safe. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Starting with Coffee and steamed milk (my favoritewe were offered a lovely selection food. Authentic Puerto Rican goodness! We can’t wait to go back and stay there again. Highly recommend.

My husband and I booked this trip for a weekend getaway and it was perfect. The owner was prepared to receive us and was nice and hospitable. The stay includes a home made breakfast which was delicious located on the propertys atrium. We could come in and out of the property as we pleased and there was enough privacy to enjoy our stay. Close to all of old San Juans attractions. History preserved with a hint of modern flare.

Great experiences. Friendly host and staff. Breakfast was excellent and consisted of local favorites.Orginal structure is about 350 years old and in excellent condition. Highly recommended.

This was the most wonderful place I have ever stayed in!! The rooms were beautiful and the hostess was so accommodating! Some of party was vegan and she had the BEST vegan breakfast for us each morning! If you need a place to stay in San Juan thats within walking distance of everything this is the place!! The parking garage is close by as well.

Great location in Old San Juan, very clean, friendly owners and pup on site, walking distance to everything in Old San Juan, plus airporr pick up and drop off for a nominal fee, plus the breakfasts are superb!
