Gary was an excellent host and we really enjoyed our conversation with him. He also had great tips for visiting the area. The room was good sized with a really comfortable bed and plenty of blankets and there was off street parking for our car. The price was very reasonable. The only issue was that the place could use a good scrubbing.

Excelente lugar para hospedarse, se ofrece desayuno rico y sano, hay lugares para comer muy cerca , el hospedero es muy gentil con sus huespedes, habla excelente inglés y español, explica los lugares turísticos, recomiemda lugares para comer o pedir a domicilio, hay cocina, nevera y todo para cocinar, el lugar es muy seguro y la zona tambien, el precio de hospedaje es económico y lo recomiendo.

An economic choice for your stay in Cuenca. The host, Garry, could consider standardising his advice to guests (perhaps just an info sheetsince we learned on our last day, after spending money on taxis each day, that theres a bus stop close to the place. The vegan breakfast is great, though, and the rooms are clean and spacious.

Gary is an amazing host! He is passionate about Cuenca and knows the city and its little secrets and off the beaten track visits, takes warm care for his guests with cozy company and offers a delicious vegan breakfast with Ecuadorian delicious specialties. His house is clean, comfortable and perfectly located a little out of the busy center with easy access to both the historical center and the shops. A great stay and guide to Cuenca!

Fantastic home from home hostel, owned by the wonderful Gary who was super helpful and welcoming. He also looks up a mean vegan breakfast each morning. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Cuenca!

We (coupleenjoyed a very pleasent stay here. The beds are comfortable and the shower is warm. The location is not perfect for everyone, but its quite close to the terminal (20min walk). The center of the city is easily reachable by the bus around the corner or by walking 30 minutes. The owner is a nice and friendly person. The nice price made this location perfect for us.. :)
