Casa Mia in San Felipe de Puerto Plata

Clean family owned business. Nice broad menu and beer an wine n liquor. Mainly did breakfast and being there open to 11 ish after dinner drinks. I was renting room above it..Near grocery store and a 3 min scooter ride to beach. Has a fair amount of American retirees during day. Prices were fair.

Nice place the food was just ok. It wasnt bad just not the best Ive had in this town. So, 4 star service and 3 stars for the food.

The food was not very good unfortunately. But the fact that they give massages and acupuncture in the dining room is gross. I complained and they said it was normal for the DR. Its not! I went next door to Tam Tam restaurant the next night and it was very good. I edited this from a year ago to recommend Tam Tam so not 100% sure if they are still doing that. To be fair.

Einmal und nie wieder. Essen nicht geniessbar. Es wurde leider von uns ausser Haus gekauft. Noch nicht einmal unsete Hunde haben das Fleisch gegessen. Alles total versalzen. Die Spaghettis mit Scampis haben den umgekehrten Weg wieder gesucht. Allerdings haben wir das Geld für das Essen redtlis zurückbekommen. Das ist aber kein Ersatz für einem verkorksten Magen.

Very friendly, clean restaurant. The wait staff was more than courteous and made me feel comfortable since my Spanish was negligible. The menu was good and the prices were more than reasonable. I enjoyed being able to eat outside and enjoyed the breeze and view of the beach. I will definitely go back there when I return.

Updated Review- After eating at this restaurant for a couple of years.. Its been sold and the quality has vanished. Overpriced, disappointing and the new staff dont seem to know how to make a simple cocktail. Good luck if you order there.

El servicio estaba muy bueno y lo que pedimos alli fue un pure de papa que estaba riquisimo con Omelette de vegetales/Jamon y Queso. Mi esposa pidió una Pizza Mediana con Jamon y queso y se la encontro buena tambien.

Simpatico ed elegante, personale gentilissimo, proprio sul lungomare, se volete tirare tardi è lideale. Fanno anche un buon caffè che ricorda quello italiano.

Restaurante agradable y bien mantenido en el Malecón. El personal muy amable. La comida era excelente. Precios ligeramente más altos, pero todavía aceptables para esta área. Buen WiFi!Schönes und gepflegtes Lokal am Malecon. Sehr freundliches Personal. Essen war ausgezeichnet. Preise etwas höher, aber noch akzeptabel für diese Gegend. Gutes WiFi!

Die Kellnerin Maria macht dieses Restaurant direkt am Malecon zu einem Ort, wo man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Das Essen ist gut und die Preise normal für diese Gegend.

Wonderful staff, great prices

Dieses Restaurant sollte man eher meiden! Die Preise sind etwas über dem Durchschnitt, aber die Qualität des Essens ist weit unter dem Durchschnitt. Gleiches gilt für die Appartments, die der Besitzer zur Vermietung anbietet. Schmutzig und laut. Geht für eine Nacht, wenn nichts anderes frei ist. Für den gleichen Preis kann man bei tucan zum Beispiel ein schönes großes sauberes leises Apartment mieten.

Not recommended, worst pizza I had during my life,they donot have invoice, if you go to puerto plata , try to find others.

Decent view of the ocean but if you are into food dont come because its expensive and the food is average at best. One good thing: service is friendly and good. Our server did try to accommodate us when we told her we felt we did not get value for the price. Disappointing food portions and not even close to the photo. Your basic tourist trap and we live in the Dominican.

Recién estrenado. En el malecón y frente al mar. Amplia carta de ensaladas y pastas además de carnes y pescados. Buena calidad y buen servicio. Me gustó.

I visited this restaurant a few months ago, and the food, service and place are excellent. I ate pizza, took some beers and was delighted with the ocean view while playing with few friendly cats which visit the local sometimes asking for some food and cuddling. I recommend this!
