Casa Mexicana in Bristol

Came here for the first time and had a fun date idea. We had to order whatever the waiters favorite dish was. Since there was two of us, he chose his top two favorite dishes.I was given the steak dish that had rice and beans. The steak was chopped with sauteed onions and had this amazing spicy cheese sauce. It was perfectly spicy so if you like spicy meals this is it!My fiancee had the chicken plate with thin chicken breast that is marinated and grilled. It also had chorizo with a grilled pineapple slice on top. This plate also had rice and beans with flour tortillas. It was the perfect amount of savory/sweet combo.Overall, the food was great and our server was a great sport with our weird request. Our only complaint is that the Margaritas werent strong enough! Otherwise we highly recommend this place.

VERY! Good Mexican from the homemade salsa and chips to the tacos and chilie relleno. It was all very good. We were traveling through....so glad we stopped.

We are lucky to have this restaurant close to our new residence. I was afraid when moving here that there would not be authentic Mexican food due to some complaints on local Facebook groups about Mexican cuisine in the area. If you are looking for Tex-Mex or Baja California style food, this is not it, but it is good Mexican food for sure! Remember, much like the US has different regional specialties, so does Mexico. The price is good for the quantity as well. The service is friendly and expedient.

Great food and family atmosphere

Good food fast and very $ friendly for lunch.

The food had no flavor and the guacamole was watery. Will not be back, $45 wasted and I didnt even eat a 1/4 of my meal and I have a belly ache.

Casa Mexicana is on of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Bristol and the staff are really friendly and actually Hispanic which is the way it should be. For a real authentic Meal you gotta try this place. And reasonably priced.

Everytime we go the food is fresh and Amazing! Date nights are always great. Shared entrees and shared dessert. Wonderful service!

Nice employees and they service a lot of food. The price is really affordable. I could even say it cheaper to buy food here than getting any McDonalds meal. You get here way more food. Also, I got really full really quick.

Delicious food and huge portions. It was clean and the staff was friendly.

Did was good service was slow they were busy but we still never got checked on after our food arrived. Our cheese dip which should be like an appetizer came out less than a minute (no exaggerationthan when our food arrived. Cant say Im not disappointed 🤷

Not the level they used to be. Chili beans instead of refried and cold queso.

Im just now updating this review but when I had went to this restaurant the waiters were so nice and they would joke around which makes it very fun. The food was amazing to its better than any other Mexican restaurant in my opinion

Great service, excellent food, and somehow even better quality. So far, Ive been there maybe 6 times so far, and I dont have a single complaint yet. Not bad pricing, either, 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend.

Mucho bueno except for the price.All I ordered was tortilla chips with house salsa and spicy white sauce.Also ordered a small Queso Blanco.-Total-19.90

It has great food for a great price. I would recommend to all tourist and locals to eat there. Best thing to get is their Pollo Picaso.

Food is always delicious and $3 for happy hour!!! Our server was very busy attending to a large party and others in his section but was still very attentive to our table.

This has become a favorite of ours! We love the guacamole Mexicano - chunky guacamole. My husband loves their fish ceviche which is hard to find in the area. Prices are great and food is delicious.

Usually the the service is ok, but this time it really su$&#@ the would be waiter didnt bring enough salsa for my party of seven, did not do refills took like forever on the food and gave my 10 yr old the bill. Not a good experience.

I hate to post a negative review. We have eaten here several times in the last month and it was fantastic. However this evening we were seated and given chips and abandoned. I watched several tables that were seated after us get drinks and had there orders taken while we sat waiting. Twice we tried to flag down a server who DID see us but chose to ignore us for whatever reason. This was unacceptable so we left. Sadly we will not return to what was quickly becoming our favorite restaurant.

Before we had this one here in Bristol, my wife and I could only enjoy there amazing food and affordable prices in pigeon forge a few times a year. Love the taco salad bowels!!

I loved this place. Came here while traveling for work. Great food, drinks, and prices. I will DEFINITELY be back the next time Im in town.

So, I had Mexican twice in the last week. Once in Washington DC and once in Bristol TN. There are dozens of options in DC which drives quality up. Since there is almost no options in Bristol, I only makes sense that the quality here was horrible. The guac sauce was acceptable. It everything else was slapped together with zero taste. On top of everything else, Im almost sure I got food poisoning after I woke up at 3am with the worst stomach pains. I would stay away. I know I will.

Our group had an overall great experience. The food was served hot, was very good and very nice portions. The service was adequate considering the place was packed. The entire front of house staff were very friendly. My friend enjoyed an enormous margarita, a must, he said. Great place.

My daughter and I have never had a bad experience here until recently. Every time we visit, the food is always good. On a previous visit, the tables were spaced apart and we felt comfortable eating here. When we ate here last week, it didnt seem like they were taking CDC guidelines seriously. We were seated a booth away from another couple and that was great. I saw the booth behind me had a sign that said, "Skip." A maskless couple came inside while we were eating and sat down in the "skipped" booth. They asked the waiter if they could sit there and he said, "Yes." He should not have allowed them to sit in that booth, so close to us. I told my daughter that I was moving. We told the waiter we were moving and asked if we could sit in the booth on the other side. When the waiter came to seat another couple, he seated them in the booth behind my daughter. At least the gentleman moved to where he wasnt seated directly behind her. It seems as if they only cared about money and not the well-being of customers.

The severice and food are always amazing no other Mexican joint in the area is worth going to! El Grande, fajitas, and the Casa Burrito Especial are our favorites!

You are probably asking why I posted this picture? This is what was left after I ate all I could from their carnitas plate. Not only was it amazing but the portions are seriously legit! Great salsa, could be a tad chunkier but great flavor and onion/tomato/cilantro balance, good queso, amazing steak (my wifes meal), amazing Guacamole. I would definitely recommend and if I am within an hour away will return!Great service too!

Very good place to eat Mexican. And a great price. It only cost 30$ for 4 people. Great service as well :)

The food was great. The staff was quite. He came by and would check on us. Not that it was a bad thing. Like are chips were low. He walked to the table looked at the chips walked away and then came back with more. It was the same with the drinks.

Fun atmosphere, good food, great margaritas, extremely friendly staff.

This is our (my girl and I3rd time here. Same waiter. He is always AWESOME. Remembered my drink to a T. Food was awesome as was the other 2 times we was here. Will be back for a fourth time.
