Casa Losodeli in Puerto Escondido

Casa Losodeli is a very good hostel and it keeps its promises. What I really liked was:- The cleanliness of the place. Everywhere. The bathroom, the community kitchen and the rooms.- The friendliness of the staff. Each and everyone of them is super friendly and nice. Makes this place special.- The property itself is kept in good shape. The garden is well attended to, the pool gets cleanded everyday, there is enough kitchen equopment and so on.- The internet is strong and stable.Notice to non-working travellers:This is a quiet hostel. There are community events but it is quiet at 11 pm (which I loved). 75 per cent of the travellers are remote workers which influences the atmosphere. If you come here to relax, that is absolutely possible BUT when I was there, there were 7 days of construction. I did not care so much because I worked and slept in a dorm anyway but if youre coming to relax, maybe ask in advance if the construction is done.Nevertheless, I really really recommend this hostel.

Nice pool, also during rain! Very lovely people working there, also lots of guests working remotely. I liked it, it depends what you’re looking for. But anyways, the volunteers Tom and Kike will upgrade your stay, they are fun!

*CONSTRUCTION FROM 7 am to 5pm* Advertises itself as a co-working hostel, but has 6 construction workers every single day. Male staff extremely rude, and predatory on girls around the pool. No A/C in the shared dorms. Not recommended.

Kind and fun people in a laid back atmosphere, close to the beach and the market. I would recommend visiting here.

I had the best time for 10 days at casa losodeli to work, surf and enjoy life in Puerto Escondido. The wifi here is amazing, you won’t have any trouble for zoom calls. And the team is amazing to make you spend a good time in Puerto Escondido ! Diana, Maria and the rest of the crew made us have an amazing discovery of Puerto. Thank you for everything 🫶

So far the only co-working / co-living hotel for real in Puerto Escondido, where you can trust the internet (starlink antenna as backup), and be sure you will sleep (no parties or gatherings allow after 11 at the hotel). They understand this new industry “work from home” at its finest; let me give you an example - They have dedicated personnel (Diana & Maria, lovely peopleto organize events and make sure you make new friends, isn’t that fantastic??

I could not recommend this hostel enough. Beginning with the pool and the staff, the experience was more than pleasant. I plan to make a return to the city soon because of how welcoming and kind everybody was. It is very clean and excellent for getting work done. When considering hostels for your trip, this should be at the top of your list as it is a walk away from beaches and great coffee.

Staying at losodeli has been one of my favorite hostel experiences. From the moment I walked in it felt like home. The family dinners were delicious. Diana and Maria were the chest and made the best mojitos. There were also group events every night that built great community in a short time. The pool was relaxing and clean, wifi was quick and reliable, and there were great spaces to work in for the remote workers. The rooms and bathrooms were also cleaned often. For how great this place is the price is a steal. Cannot recommend Hostel Losodeli enough!

Everything was perfect. The perfect balance of a quiet place to work or rest during the day, plus the chance of meeting people from all over the world and having a few drinks at evening/night in a beautiful property with an amazing pool, with great group activities (optional of courseorganized by the kindest accomodation staff (Diana and Maria). Casa Losodeli also has a perfect location, being situated only 7 min by foot from Carrizalillo beach, probably my favourite beach in the world. Its 10 min by car from the airport (no need to rush or stress if youre flyingand 10 min away from Zicatela, the night zone full of amazing bars and nightclubs for all kinds of styles. I couldnt recommend it more and Im definitely staying here again when I come back to Puerto Escondido.

Stayed at Losodeli for a little over two weeks. Had a lot of fun. It’s a quite co working space in the morning and in the evening it turns social & has great activities.The staff, the volunteers & the crowd was excellent. I wasn’t Co working but I had a lot of fun & would come back again.

Great staff and perfect space to experience coworking travel. The WiFi is strong and there is plenty of room to stretch out. Considering its in a beach town its great there is plenty of seating to work from the pool area in a bathing suit.And the staff is awesome. So personable and caring. Super helpful with the unique situations that appear with long-term travel, such as ordering and receiving contact lenses.I will extend my stay and I continue to hear people doing the same.

One of my favourite hostels ever. Staying in a 3-bed dorm still felt quiet and private, the co-working space is great and internet is strong, friendly and helpful staff, super clean, close to Carrizalillo beach, and just great vibes all around. I’ve already booked in for next year because I loved it so much!

This hotel is truly a home away from home which keeps guests like myself returning year after year. Super friendly staff, a beautiful courtyard and pool and walkable location to stunning Manzanillo and Carizzalillo beaches makes this my favorite place to stay in Puerto. The "comfort doubles" are spacious airy rooms with a wardrobe to unpack, balcony, desk and vanity and are always nice and cool. Easy access to town and Bacocho. Highly recommend!!

I stay here for one week. Neat room, comfortable bed, swimming pool, free mango from the mango tree. Also fast internet speed. There is a very nice coworking place there. Staffs are very helpful. And a pub and different events every night. One of my best hostel experience!

No respect for guests in this place. When we arrived, we had to wait an hour for checkin and no one updated the information whether the room was ready, at the end we went away to eat and came back in a few hours. On the second night even worst, there was a staff party in the yard with loud music and screams at midnight. I believe if you are hosting private events you can close the place for the day and not leave guests without sleep

Fast wifi, quiet coworking. I wish there were more vegan options available, and that the service would be made at the table. Cash only payment for the co-working too which isnt ideal (esp when you can pay by card at the cafe). Great atmosphere for working (its quiet).

Really love the food. Sometimes there are too many digital nomads taking up table space. It can get very annoying when you are there to get a meal.

Losodeli is amazing! Aside from the amazing wifi this place offers, the service is amazing. Kevin and Jenny are the literally the best and made my experience in Puerto Escondido one to always remember.

Really cool space with lots of outdoor seating for coworking. The private booth is tiny but works just fine for private calls. This is where I had the best luck for internet while in PE.

Great hostel. I met Jenny and Kevin who are in charge of the activities and they were super nice invited me to the hostel activities even tho I don’t stay there. The whole staff are very welcoming and nice and i wish I would have stayed here but next time I will def stay here because it’s great how they treat the guest even tho I wasn’t one! Also the cafe has amazing food!

Beautiful setting, super fast wifi and awesome management have made this a lovely place to stay. Friendly people, but overall a tranquil vibe that makes it easy to both relax and work if you need to. I’m on video calls all day and have found the wifi to be surprisingly strong, better than expected. The entire building is spotless - I feel like there’s constantly someone sweeping or wiping down surfaces - and all of the staff are incredibly helpful and kind. The cafe could easily hike their prices but it’s very reasonable and the food, coffee and juices are great. Highly recommend Casa Losodeli if you’re ever in Puerto!

Amazing place to work , clean, peacefull, open with plants and pool.Have deliciuos dishes and great vibe.It is chilli place to work and stay.We paid $190 pesos and have wifi unlimited for 12 hours, coffee, tea, pool, and access to shower room. We passed a relax time.

I stayed in Losodeli for a month in November. I felt so much at home that I extended my stay in Mexico and came back to Losodeli in January. Friendly staff, spacious garden -perfect for coworking-, close to my favorite beach Carrizalillo, clean kitchen and rooms. But most importantly, Losodeli creates an environment where it is very easy to make new friends, friends who feel like family. I am grateful for my time at Losodeli and I will definitely come back.

This is the best place ever… Casa Losodeli has convinced me to move to Puerto… it’s the best vibe ever. Also the best coworking… it’s quiet during the day and a perfect place to get stuff done. Couldn’t have better things to say!

Casa Losodeli is a beautiful place for a short stay but even better for a long-term stay. The staff puts lots of effort in keeping the place clean. The rooms are nice and everything is very organized. The atmosphere is very chilled and there are lots of digital nomads staying for a longer time so you can connect to people and make good friendships.Apart from that the location is great and it is only a short walk to the most beautiful beaches! I can really recommend it :)

Decided to post up for a month and as a digital nomad, this place has been an amazing second home! Would highly recommend for people looking to get work done but also join an amazing community of likeminded people!

Excellent stay great spot to work and relax. Staff work around the clock and volunteers are on point. WiFi is brilliant and the cafe produces some banging food. Would highly recommend.

As a digital nomad, Losodeli is one of my favourite spots in town. They consistently have strong/fast wifi that is sufficient enough for uninterrupted video calls. The cafe is AMAZING as well. The staff here is super friendly and accommodating. The courtyard is beautiful and have outlets all around so you can work just about anywhere. If you plan on staying here, everything is VERY clean. They clean the shared dorm bathrooms like 5 times a day... no joke. Very chill vibe here. Do not expect any/or much partying to take place in the evenings.

This place is so nice. The employees are extremely friendly and these kiwi chocolate pancakes are absolutely delicious with Oreo crumbles and starfruit on the side at a good price!

Loved the foo! We came here like 3 times! The coffee and the smoothies are awesome as well! Good service and good wifi!

The waitress was rude and the food tasted awful, the pancakes left an unpleasant pungent aftertaste as if they had soap in them and the bowl was extremely acid with a weird opaque color to it... My partner asked to take out an ingredient from the veggie scrambled eggs, and they said that all their scrambled eggs were already made, that definitely doesnt sound like fresh food to me at all. Really disappointed with this place.

Absolutely delicious - we had the best breakfast sitting at their outdoor tables. Service is great and the food is truly top notch, you can tell ingredients are quality. We ordered green & orange juices, latte, pancakes (wow), veggie omelette and the breakfast bowl and everything was amazing. Lots of vegetarian options. We will be coming back for sure! Thank you!

We LOVE this place! We’ve been here several times since arriving in Puerto Escondido. The service is wonderful, the food is excellent, and it has good vibes. I definitely recommend coming to eat here every chance you get! You can’t go wrong when ordering… we’ve tried a lot and there isn’t one thing we haven’t liked.

Affordable food, great espressos and tasty meals. The service was great and I felt very welcomed. This place was compact and had access to Wifi. I would say its a good spot to work and catch up with friends!

One of the best hostels Ive stayed. I booked 3 nights, but ended up staying 10! Staffs are the friendliest people youll ever meet, including the owners. (Locals from Puerto EscondidoThe hostel is beautiful, clean and comfortable. It has an amazing pool. Its not a party hostel (they strictly enforce quiet hour rules, which starts at 11pmbut there are plenty of fun activities and people. I had an amazing time at Losodeli and would love to come back!
