Casa Lastarria - Chilean restaurant in Santiago, Peru
The environment of the restaurant is good, especially on the rooftop at night, where they put candles on the tables and this creates a good atmosphere. The drinks were good and the snacks as well, but the food that I chose wasnt so good, I wasnt expecting a BBQ Ribs with a taste of boiled meat.
Very nice place. Especially sitting on the roof but everywhere the service is really good and the food tasteful and very well made.We have been there 3 times now and we will return again for sure. Especially the service are really good.
bad quality and unfriendly staff. what i hoped would be a good local experience turned out to be a disappointment.
Great place for lunch!!!
Great craft beer selection
Very bad service
Super
Good steak. Cooked as ordered.
Εxcellent.!
Great food, very nice and helpful staff.
Goood good, nice staff..menu del dia is a good deal
Good bbq ribs and cozy rooftop for dinner
Wonderful place! Delicious food in a great atmosphere.
I love this place! Best meal we had in Santiago.Highly recommend four cheese pasta.
Good place
Top notch restaurant with THE BEST food I have had in Santiago. Very friendly service as well. They have many types of seafood and an excellent pisco sour.
Non native speakers be aware and check your bill! Food was "ok," but when it came time to pay, the waiter said their credit card processing system was down and Id need to pay cash. When I agreed, he brought me a handwritten bill with incorrect calculations. That bill would have overcharged me by 10,000 clp if I wasnt paying attention and willing to challenge the total. Might have been a mistake, but seems very unlikely.
Steep and dangerous but beautiful
Great food. A bit expensive and the food took a while. Very nice space.
One of the best restaurants in this new hot area of Santiago, called "Lastarria". The menu is great, delicious food, service is quite good. Still they can improve service wise, opening hours and wine list prices.
great service with food to die for
This restaurant was recommended by locals and we decided to try it. Started with a ceviche to start with and it was excellent. For entrees we had a salmon dish and quinoa with shrimp salad. Did not particularly like the salmon dish and were glad that we had ordered the second entree. The quinoa shrimp salad was good with decent portion size. Server was friendly, would actually call it too attentive. Server kept asking us if he could remove the plates even though we were still eating. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating. We sat outside - the seating area was shared by many restaurants and was lit up in night and looked good.
We went in with not to much expectations and really enjoyed our dinner. the food was excellent and the service was good.
Good food, good location
Avoid!! Terrible service! They convince as many people on the street to come in. Once you sit down you notice everyone around you has no food. You wait for someone to greet you 14 minutes later (after he brings up 12 drinks for everyone waiting). They care more about volume than service. We waited 45 minutes before I got frustrated and had to walk out.To the owner: hire more staff! You are stressing out your waiters. Treat them better so they can treat your patrons better and you will have a successful business. Disgrace.
Be aware this place is a tourist trap. The food is frozen, the wine is industrial. It s not what you read on other comments, if you have a bit of experience never go there. There is much better around. It s not one bad meal it s all except the service that was bad. Explain all to manager wich seem not professional. I guess even the owner cares more about money than the food No love in here pass your way.
No vegan options on the menu but I ordered the gnocchi with Pomodoro sauce and spinach (make sure to ask for no cheese). It was delicious! Upscale restaurant with great wine selection.
Good
Good food...
The food was delicious! I particularly liked the gnocchi, which had the perfect texture and just melted in your mouth. The 4 cheese sauce with it was also delicious, but could get a little rich, so sharing the delicious was a perfect amount! The burger and fish were also quite good. The outdoor seating was perfect! There are heating lamps available if it gets a little chilly.
Ok.
Food is pretty good. Nice atmosphere.
Great place to grab a bite. A little price on the menu side, but the daily specials are always good and affordable.
Good food and service. Pastel de Choclo very good.
Really nice restaurant in the Lastarria area of Santiago. Food was superb, and we had the best bottle of Carmenere that we had all week. Could not fault the service, we arrived as a group of eight on a Sunday evening and they found us a table large enough to accommodate everyone.
Great food and cocktails and waitress spoke English
Great Happy Hour drink prices, and the perfect place to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere. Gnocchi was very good, and the service was great!
Popular place with tourists and a bit pricey, but great food and great location. It is located on a cute little court with several Italian restaurants, but we were looking for a restaurant that served Chilean dishes. This place hit the spot, and it had great outdoor seating. They have menus in English, and our waiter spoke English well. We had the beef carpaccio as an appetizer, which was great - served with grated cheese, some toasted bread, and capers. Our main course was the congria (eel), one of the best I ever had (not overcooked and rubbery as at some other places), served with a semi-spicy red sauce and veggies. Good and friendly service.
Reasonable food served by friendly staff on a beautiful terrace on the roof.
Had a nice meal here except the entrees and dessert was much better than the main course. I had a few wines and the Carmenere was quite good. The location was the best element and also there’s even a rooftop seating area.
Great roof-top terraza
Super
Expensive with poor service. We ordered four main courses and received only three. There was a very poor attempt to recover the situation which involved a really poor salad being offered as a substitute for the missing main after about twenty minutes, when all the other mains had been finished. No attempt was made to compensate on the bill. There are many much better restaurants nearby, especially CHPE Libre. Avoid this restaurant.
Fresh made local dishes, good local wines and beer selections. Friendly service
A must if you go to Lastarria. A bit expensive but great service (most of the timeand very nice meals, especially the "Filete Ahumado"
Excellent food with a lot of traditional dishes prepared beautifully. The staff made our family lunch even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!
Fancy and cozy at the same time. Nice place, there different levels. It also have a terrace
Pricy but good
Nice place, nice food, good service. Avoid the noisy Santiago centre in Casa Lastarria.
Order the octopus and you wont regret it.Very good service, only problem and you will find it everywhere is that they close really early. But this place is a good option if you are around the area
