Casa Isabel B&B in San Juan

The stay was amazing! The place has almost everything that would make it a high end hotel we know of. Last but not the least, the breakfast was simply delicious and mind blowing! Would love to stay again if I visit the island!

Not even sure where to start. The stay at Casa Isabel was AMAZING! Our host was so nice and knowledgeable, and communication even before the trip was great. I asked if she could set up a little surprise for my bf for when we walked into the room since it was his birthday trip, and they had set up a "Happy Birthday" banner, with balloons, and fake rose petals on the bed that said "Love". It was so cute and thoughtful.The room itself had everything we needed. The bathroom was pretty modern, the shower was great with nice water pressure and it was never short of hot water for us. Our room was a bit darker than the rest, but we were barely in there so its okay. The bed was very comfortable AND the room had a fan and strong AC which was a blessing to come home to.The rest of the BnB gets even better and better as you keep exploring. Everything was so pretty and had so much culture. The eating area was great, and the breakfast every morning was just what you needed to have a good start to your day. She also had a lovely terrace you can walk up to which offered a great view of the neighborhood. There were so many places in the BnB where you could just sit and enjoy being in Puerto Rico so you never felt like you were just stuck in your room if you were there.She also had so much beach gear that was up for grabs, plenty of beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards, sunscreen, etc. And to top it off, the beach was only a 3 minute walk from the front door. 3 minutes to the other side of the BnB was Calle Loiza, packed with so many bars and restaurants. We were also steps away from a 24/7 Convenient Store and minutes away from really cool cafes, restaurants, stores, and the going-out scene. However, it was never chaotic or loud on our street.All in all, our stay at Casa Isabel was beyond perfect. We were so happy during our entire stay and did not want to leave. I am going to miss the perfectly strong coffee, the yummy breakfast potatoes and eggs, and my daily fruit.

Margie was very helpful and communicative, the breakfast was tasty and filling, and room was excellent. Everything was clean and well maintained with access to everything you might need for the beach (towels, chairs, sunscreen, etc.). Also, comfy beds and a nice bathroom with spacious shower. However, the best thing about this place is is its location. Right by a beach (2 min walkthat isnt overcrowded and by the very cool street of Calle Loíza and all its restaurants and bars. This is the place to be!

Utterly adorable, so much character and old world charm, while still providing all the modern comforts. Location is perfect, literally everything is within 5 min walk. Great staff, great breakfast, possibly the best papaya Ive ever had.PS. super duper clean

Casa Isabel was fantastic. Great location, quaint, clean and comfy. Breakfast was good and Margie was great to coordinate with. Defiant recommend.

English: what a beautiful and cozy place, located on a quiet area, close both to the beach and restaurants. Walking distance to Condado.Margie, the host was very welcoming and accommodating. There a small parking area in case you need to park, just make sure to let them know. There is always parking on the street Nice daily breakfast included, with varieties of tea and coffee available. I had the chance to stay at the room adjacent to the main house. It had a kitchenette in it. Room was clean and had all the expected amenities. The kitchen is available during off hours if you have special needs or diet.Spanish: que lugar más lindo y acogedor, localizado en una área tranquila, cerca de la playa y de restaurantes. Muy cerca de Condado.Margie, la anfitriona fue muy cortés y fácil de contactar. Hay una cochera pequeña si es necesario, o se puede estacionar en la calle. El desayuno disponible es muy variado, con muchas clases de te y café disponible. My habitación estaba a la par de la casa principal y tenía una cocina pequeña. La habitación estaba limpia y tenía todo lo necesario, incluyendo un secador de pelo, plancha y planchador. La cocina principal está disponible si la necesita en otras horas o si tiene dietas específicas.

This was a very nice place. It is very clean and safe. The location is very convenient. You can see the beach from the gate. It is close to restaurants and a short ride from the airport. The breakfast was excellent. I will be back!

I’m so glad I found this place. The place is gated like most BnB n hotels around here. You do feel safe. It’s a block from the beach. If you walk half to about a mile towards Condado area, there’s lots of restaurants, bars and other beaches. Casa Isabel has nice big rooms and big bathrooms. Ceiling fans, AC, mini fridge, tv etc. They also have beach chairs n sun screen to use. Their common area is nice n cozy. My favorite was breakfast. They really make nice hot meals for you. Potato, sausage, mushroom dish along with cut up fruits, cereal, the works!! The manager is friendly.

Awesome stay, central location with a great breakfast in the morning. Only a short drive to the old town.

I am so glad that I found Casa Isabel B&B instead of going some giant hotels. Margie was very welcoming and her hospitality was amazing. The room is very clean and safe, they have everything we needed including beach towels and beach chairs.The location is very convenient—there’s a beach right next to the B&B, and great restaurants and coffee shops are within walking distance.

Best bed and breakfast in San Juan. Comfy beds, clean rooms and bathrooms and the best breakfast youll find! I hope to return again one day soon!! Muchas gracias!!

We stayed here on July 2019, and lost items while vacationing. Margie told us the insurance would take care of our lost items but its Oct and we have yet to receive anything regrind our lost items. If you want to stay here, have a bluetooth camera where you can see who is going in and out of you room. will not be staying here again when I visit PR

Margie is a great hostess who is friendly and goes out of her way to ensure you are comfortable and well taken care of. The room was very clean and the morning breakfasts were delicious. If you have a car, Margie will endeavor to fit you in her driveway and when I was there we were able to fit 3 cars. If not, there’s usually parking available on the street.

Very comfortable b&b. Stayed here on business. Owner and breakfast were fantastic. Would definitely return on vacation. As with all properties in this area... On street parking only.

Fantastic place to stay. Very clean, very friendly, very communicative on stay instructions for getting in late. The owner Margie was awesome to visit with us and takes great care of the place and her guests. Breakfast was great and mimosas later in the day were refreshing.Not far from the Pan American cruise port. Will stay here again the next time we visit.

This place was a great stay! Margie was awesome and very accomodative of our odd timings and requests. The breakfast area is nice and cozy where you get to talk to other guests. Very close to beach and restaurants, the location is perfect. Ask Margie for her egg muffins for breakfast.

As with all other reviews, our recent overnight stay was excellent. Margie is knowledgable is all aspects of the area and the island. She was very gracious and the accommodations were excellent. Breakfast was great. Location was great. Lots ofThings within walking distance. A $6 Uber ride to the cruise port. Would recommend and would stay here again. Only down side was some neighborhood noise at night.

We stayed two nights and are happy with the stay. The place is comfortable and the host is exceptional. You are just a block to the beach and near plenty of restaurants. Thre breakfast was spot on.

Charming B&B in the heart of Condado. The beach and awesome restaurants are just a block away in either direction. Clean and comfortable room . Nice breakfast served overlooking the garden . This is a definite next time I go to PR. You will not go wrong booking Casa Isabel when visiting the beautiful island of PR. Thanks Margie for being such a lovely hostess.

Nice decor, nice parlor area, well designed rooms, roomy, easy walk to beach, easily found parking on street, friendly staff,Breakfast area, building architecture greatand good security.

Perfect home away from home. Has everything you need. . 10 minutes walk from the beach in San Juan.

I would give 10 stars!!! We enjoyed 2 days at Casa Isabel before our cruise and loved it. Great location, wonderful hospitality! My husband got sick at the end of the cruise and was hospitalized. Margie was our angel! Fortunately she had a room available for me. She even packed a breakfast every morning for me to take to my husband. Next time I come to Puerto Rico, I know where I am staying! Thank you Margie!

Really enjoyed our stay at Casa Isabel! Felt like we were right at home. Margie and her staff were wonderful. They made sure we had everything we needed and provided so much information about places to visit and how to get around the island. I feel that we got the best room in the place, Room #5 which was located on the side of the main house. The room was updated nicely, very clean and best of all we had privacy. Casa Isabel is so close to the beach, a pharmacy and a 24 hour grocery store and so much more!The bus line...just one block away which took us to Old San Juan anytime thru out the day. We didnt miss having a car at all, and of course, there is always Uber! Casa Isabel served breakfast every morning. There are chairs and other beach items you can use if you just plan to spend the day at the beach nearby. There are several restaurants very close to Casa Isabel. Bebo Restaurant was our favorite, but be prepare to wait a little bit. The place is always busy but the food is worth the wait and the prices are reasonable.

The owners are extremely helpful and lovely people ! The rooms are clean and the decor is beautiful !! Love the house and the location couldnt get better just one block from the beach so close you can see the beach from the entrance !! Love love love i will defiantly come back !!! ❤️
