C/ Cuesta Aceituneros, 6, 18010 Granada, Spain, Granada
In a restored palace dating from 1503, this polished hotel is an 8-minute walk from Granada Cathedral, 1.6 km from the Alhambra and 1.8 km from Generalife palace. The traditionally furnished rooms feature exposed-beam ceilings and tile floors, and come with free Wi-Fi, TVs and desks.A breakfast buffet is offered for a fee. There’s also a cafe/bar and a cozy patio with a mosaic-tiled floor. Event space is available.
We spent few days in this hotel during our staying in Granada.Location is excellent, in the core of the old town a the bottom of The Alambra Castle. The receptionist was super welcoming and helpful, also gave us a map and explained a bit of the city and surroundings for us to visitWould totally recommend this place, rooms were clean and well maintained
Very friendly helpful staffInside the hotel is very niceThe reason I rating 1 star isThe room was one of the worst rooms I ever had in a hotelExtremely small not even enough to walk around the bed or even any space to put your luggage and stuff the bathroom is really outdated and it wasn’t cleanThe lighting in side the room was very badThe AC was not working wellCorridors reaching to room at night the lights were not workingAnd we stumbled many times on the stepsThe beds were so small and wasn’t comfortable at allThere were no blankets only sheets to coverToilet tree was very poorNo I will never come to this hotel againWhat’s the point of a nice hotel environment if the beds rooms were so not comfortable
I stayed there for three nights. The building in itself is beautiful with patios. The room was comfortable with wooden ceiling. The location was excellent. Close to restaurants and along Carrera del Darro.Bear in mind that taxis cant stop you in front of the hotel. You will have to walk up a few steps.
This is an amazing and romantic building with great staff. While being an older space (a plus for the atmosphere!the facilities were modern and updated, including air conditioning and an elevator. The central location made our stay in Granada incredible.
Great staff, helping in different situations, nice talking. Great location! El personal inmejorable, agradable y resolutivo.
I had a brilliant stay at Casa Del Capitel Nazari. Every single member of staff is so attentive and welcoming. From my dietary requests, to general chatting, to recommendations, to just being lovely - I would say everything was perfect! Thank you to Esperanza, Raquel, Adrian, Raul, Carolina, Rachel, the breakfast staff, the handyman, the cleaners and anyone else I forgot who made my experience the best. I will definitely be returning in the future!
Great 3 star hotel. Uber clean, friendly staff and nicely restored.
Hotel is lovely, very good service, charming rooms and space, clean. The only downside was that our bed was too soft, might create some discomfort for sleeping.
Casa Del capitel Nazari is a charming hotel in the typical Albayzin district close by all visit spots. The staff is very friendly , the breakfast is abundant . The only small negative point was the bad room isolation: in the morning we had the feeling that the hosts above us were taking a shower in our bedroom !
This hotel was perfectly located in the old town and close to nice restaurants and shops. It was a very walkable city. The hotel was gorgeous and historic, but also very clean and with modern amenities. The staff was very kind and helpful. I would certainly stay here again and recommend to anyone else visiting Granada.
Very good location and friendly staff. The room had plenty of character and was relatively quiet considering it was street facing during Easter. We would definitely come back.
We had an excellent stay here for 2 nights while visiting Granada. It is a beautiful historic building with incredible architecture and ambiance. The 24hr concierge was very helpful. It was in a great central location and just a short walk up to the Alhambra. We would love to return!
Oh my gosh, this hotel was great. The two rooms we had were very interesting in design/layout. Our double even had vaulted ceilings with views of the alhambra AND a private terrace. The location was great -- walkable to everything. The breakfast was wonderful, and the common spaces very comfortable.
Breakfast not very good. The room was OK, shower very small. Nice hotel, and building. Best thing were the two receptionists RAKEL and CAROLINA who are both beautiful and very nice and helpful.GoodbyeGILES CHANCE
We were extremely pleased with Casa Del Capitel Nazari! It was charming, comfortable, clean and the staff was friendly. The location was amazing! And no need to go out to breakfast because they offer a very good one.
We stayed 6 nights at Casa Capitel and there were so many things we enjoyed about our stay. The front desk staff was wonderful about orienting us to the area. The location was perfect and the building was amazingly historic and atmospheric. The room was lovely and the bed was more comfortable than the average Spanish hotel. Also, lots of hot water! The only thing that wasn’t perfect was that in February the room and breakfast room were a bit cold. This is because of the historical construction with open courtyard, etc. I’m sure that in warmer weather the building enhances comfort. We loved Granada and this hotel was a huge part of the positive experience.
Fantastic small hotel in Granadas historic Albayzin quarter, close to the inner city and the Alhambra. Highly recommended!
We were very angry about the rip off for Parking. We were told that we get a "parking discount" at the end we payed 3€ more than the public. Hotel has not own parking space so it was recommended to park @APK2 Puerta Real Car Park. Here costs are 16,25€ we payed 19,50 in the hotel for it. Additionally stuff was very unfriendly.
Great location for the price. Right in town and a close walk to the Alhambra. Room is small and older, very tight quarters. Hotel staff is helpful, stored our bags for us when so we could check out early and explore prior to leaving later in day.
This is an exquisite hotel, the decor and architecture is beautiful and historic, a very fascinating history and part of the important history of the amazing city. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating, rooms very comfortable, clean and cosy with all the facilities you need. Breakfast was very nice and well presented, lots of choices as a continental breakfast. The location of the hotel is perfect, 5 minutes walk from all the main attractions and restaurants making your stay very easy to walk around. I recommend this hotel 100% and look forward to booking my next trip to Granada soon where I will be staying at the hotel. Thank you to the staff for making my stay very welcoming.
Spent three nights in casa del capital nazarí and always felt like I was living in the medieval age during the Nazarid period, because this is how it feels like! The building itself dates to the middle ages, and the modern aspects are either condensed in formal areas or kept hidden from your eyes, in fact youll feel like your living in one of the Arab houses that you visit in "monumentos andalusí"! (Solo falta musica en la recepción para hacer una buena ambiencia !)The personal is so nice and so helpful too, and the hotel is so clean.Plus it is close to most points of interest, right in the albaicín, next to the bañuelo and la casa de zafra and facing Alhambra, and close to plaza nueva where most tourism transport departs.
I really like this place. Its not a big and glamorous place but it has a character fits to the town and Alhambra. The staff are really great and you cant really beat the location. Highly recommended.
Nice 4-star hotel in the city center of Sevilla. Great rooftop and nice rooms. Please note that the rooms are noisy (but this is the case for most hotels that we stayed unfortunately).
Dont plan on sleeping if youre even remotely close to a light sleeper. Also, if youre here to go out at night be ready to ring the bell to be let in. This should be a hostel not a hotel. Its also far too much money for what it is. It does come with free pets though so thats a plus. We have a new pet catapillar that we named Fred. If youre a germaphobe you may want to look elsewhere. The beds cozy but the towels are terriblely cheap and rough.
Great location. Central to sites and tapas area. Super quiet hotel with good aircon and large comfortable bed. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Would stay again.
My husband and I stayed at the Casa Del Capitel Nazari in Granada, Spain for four nights in August 2021. This was our first trip to Spain! We felt the amazing hospitality from the moment we entered the hotel. The reception and the entire staff was truly amazing! Everyone was kind, knowledgeable, and proactive! Superb customer service! We have visited 7 cities in Spain. This hotel is pure magic! If the walls could only speak...#history. Located in the heart of the city...right in the middle of the historic center! Absolutely charming! The room was spacious, very traditional and elegant (included tea, coffee and a kettle). We loved the selection and quality of the breakfast! The breakfast was made with love! The cafe con leche was delicious! The hotel gets an A+! The next time we come to Granada, we will stay here again.
Really nice place right in the middle. The receptionists were very friendly and because of COVID we got the possibility of having breakfast in the room without extra charge, an extra service we really appreciated. If you travel by car, it is not possible to drive to the hotel so you have to use a public parking around (they have some agreements). The taxi cost from the parking to the hotel was discounted from the bill.
Lovely hotel, Receptionist are very helpful. Location is great. Hotel very clean. Only thing to say is Did find that with us having a room at the front of the hotel and being a light sleeper we could hear noise from outside. The street is narrow and buildings high so if people walking and talking the noise from the street does echo even with the windows shut. Would stay again but ask for a different room.
Perfectly situated in the Albaycin area just below the Alhambra and surrounded by good bars and restaurants. A historical building that was beautiful to stay in and with character and a real flavour of Granada. Delightful reception staff. All the staff were very efficient and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was generous with plenty of variety and fresh fruit.Nice enough to stay again.
A most enjoyable stay at this wonderfully well placed, somewhat quirky hotel with its courtyards and three ways to get to our room - take your pick! A very interesting building, its gets you in mood for exploring Granada. The receptionists were most helpful and sorted out some third party tour operator communication problems for us, which was beyond us with our old Blackberry phone! Superb breakfast arrangement and a most welcome picnic bag for our final day early departure.Everything very clean and welcoming - a jacuzzi bath even - and a bottle of Cava! A happy mix of both the formal and informal. A very satisfactory and pleasant stay.
Location central and great, beautiful and nice reception area, friendly and helpful stuff. Room (familywas too dark, simple, but clean. Bathroom clean as well. Breakfast good, basic, enough choose, but breakfast room is small. Clean dishes not always clean. I would give strong 2 star hotel, good price vs service you get. I would come again.
Excellent service at the reception desk. Through e mail and "live".Double Room + bath room is really too small! Hardly any place to store your clothes. Bathroom roon even worse! No place at all to put a very modest set of toilet articles. The location very good. Many important sites in Granada are close by/walking distance.Over all I am satisfied but it is only just because of what is said above.
The hotel is very nice and breakfast was great. Along with the afternoon tea/coffee service. The coffee was great from American point of view! The room was very nice. It did face the narrow street outside and was a little noisy in the evening. Great location for the old city of Albaicin.
Very old and historic hotel in the Old Town of Granada. You cannot drive here, and no parking is available. We walked a short distance from a car park. You can take a taxi, but still have to walk up a short distance from the street. The old city streets are too narrow for autos. Our room was one bedroom. The bed was a double... small for us, but typical for older European hotel. It had a small kitchen.Very close and convenient to the back entrance of Alhambra. It is along the river that runs alongside the Alhambra.
Casa Del Capitel Nazari is an excellent small hotel with very good prices and an adjacent superb friendly restaurant. It is well located for seeing Granada sites. I had a single with a window opening to an interior courtyard a floor below that had a soothing fountain splashing. While the room was small, it was fine for one and had a modern bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a variety of local and more usual foods that were tasty, and there is a good coffee machine. The building is from the 1500’s, modernized for comfort but retaining the traditional style- rooms around several courtyards.
Very unique property with a lot of charm. The lady who helped us at reception (whose name I should have wrote down and didntwas phenomenal. She gave us great recommendations. All the staff were super helpful which is so important. The location was perfect - tucked away from the noise but still within walking distance of what we wanted to see. We even lucked out with our own private rooftop patio view of the Alhambra. Bed was comfy, shower was great. We would recommend going somewhere else for breakfast - pricey and not very good compared to many of the cafes we had been to previously. But, everything else was top notch. We also loved the unique walk up a cozy, winding street to its front door. For us, it really added to the atmosphere of where we were. We were in love!
The morning staff was excellent and knowledgeable, giving us all the secrets of Granada. This hotel had lots of tucked away sitting spaces so you can sit with your companions and enjoy happy hour tea/coffee or read a book when you dont want to be in your room. The hotel was cozy and felt like home. It was conveniently located to eateries, bars, shops, major attractions, etc. Depending on your room, you could have a lot of bathroom and little bedroom space or vice versa. It was everything we needed and had a good breakfast. We were sad to leave.
Very historic site. The staff was lovely, and we liked the location in the old city. But this was the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. It barely fit the queen sized bed, there was no chair, and we had a hard time figuring out where to put our luggage. The shower was also miniature. Not sure I would recommend it.
Excellent experience at this hotel that has lots of character. Room was spacious, comfortable & clean with wonderful natural ventilation (also had working air conditioning & heating but we didn’t need either at this time of year). Location was great for everything we came to do—mainly visit the Alhambra & hike into the hills around Granada. Staff was as nice as can be. We’d recommend this hotel 100%!
A beautiful & comfortable place to stay. The staff are very helpful & courteous. The breakfast room is too hot & the attendant is so busy as to require an assistant.Upper floor rooms seem to be affected by a sewer smell in the bathroom after morning shower time.Would be good if the Coffee & Tea facilities were available all day rather than 4.30-7.30pm.
We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is cozy, historic, full of character. The staff is attentive and ready to help. The breakfast is a definite must. One last thing the beds are incredibly comfortable. Will definitely come back!
Spent two night here while visiting the Alhambra. Staff very helpful and spoke very good English which was helpful. Atrium was great place to have afternoon drink. Breakfast was superb and included in the price of the room, not like other hotels. Great location. Bus toAlhambra very close and everything else in walking distance. If I had anything negative it would be that we had to walk up a few steps to the hotel with our luggage, but once there someone took them for us. Rooms were a little small but I expect that in many rooms in Europe. Would definitely return again.
The hotel has a very interesting design, with internal courtyards and lovely common spaces. Walking through the building felt like going back in time. The staff was friendly and helpful, and while it was by no means luxurious, our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The room was a bit dark and somewhat musty (due to the age and design of the building). It was cool, though - a welcome feature considering the summer heat.
Just had a five day stay at this small but lovely hotel. It has character and charm and a sense of history about it. The staff were friendly and helpful, housekeeping was good and the buffet breakfast lovely. It is in a perfect part of old Granada city, right at the foot of the Alhambra Palace so is perfectly placed for anyone going to visit the Palace and gardens. A lovely trip and would stay again if we go back to Granada.
This hotel is charming. It oozes character and has décor to enhance the feeling of tradition and history. Its vicinity to the Alhambra makes it ideal for those interested in visiting the Unesco World Heritage Site as well as being close to the centre of the city itself. Very friendly staff, excellent buffet breakfast and the quiet atmosphere certainly met our needs for a three day city break. Our room was small and simple with little space for storage, just a single wardrobe. This may be an issue for anyone who is booked for a longer stay with more luggage but it did not affect our comfort. The bathroom also was small and perhaps in need of a little improvement, however, again, it did not matter for the time spent there. Clean linen and excellent housekeeping service were an added plus to our comfort. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.
Great place to stay in central Granada. We thoroughly enjoyed this lovely hotel with large pleasant bedroom, and bathroom. The staff were all most helpful and the afternoon tea salon was a cool delight to enjoy. The only letdown was breakfast. The dining room was too small for the number of guests to be accommodated, and there were some challenges with availability of food and coffee.
We had a lovely stay at your hotel. The staff were very helpful and our request to have the heating on, for a chilly spring evening, was granted straight away. The room was comfortable and hotel was quaint and quirky. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Thank you. We would certainly stay again, and would recommend others to stay also.
We enjoyed our stay here greatly as a family of 2 adults and 2 children. We had the family suite, room 41. It was very comfortable with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and a tiny kitchenette. This kind of layout is difficult to find in a local hotel in Spain so I highly recommend it for families or 2 couples. Be advised that as an old building, there were many stairs including within our hotel suite. The hotel is beautiful and very charming - it is a historical building from the 1500s. This opportunity to experience the history first hand enhanced our wonderful Granada experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful with any request. The small internal courtyards are peaceful. We requested a boxed "to-go" breakfast to bring for a morning picnic at Alhambra. The food provided was so-so - Id recommend skipping the breakfast and just eating out.
What a lovely hotel! Very convenient for the Alhambra and for generally wandering around Granada and soaking up the atmosphere. The rooms are simple, almost monastic but perfectly fine for a few nights stay. The building is very old with lots of nooks and crannies, up and down stairs and with an open atrium to the fresh air. Breakfast has enough choice and friendly staff are ever attentive to replenishing the supplies. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, working long shifts with a ready smile. We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel.
This hotel was in an excellent location which faced the back of Alhambra and was adjacent to the old Arab Quarter. All sites were an easy walk. The staff was exceptionally accommodating. I wish the bed had been softer and that the shower spray nozzle functional. Our room was small and quaint. It is certainly worth the price. I wouldnt hesitate to return to this hotel.
